Hotels near Kinugawa Line Kudari, Nikko

I stayed in a nice room overlooking the Kinugawa River. The room was large and the heating worked well. The bathroom in my room was no longer in use, so I used the large public bath, but unfortunately the temperature of the water was too cold. Also, it was a real shame that the public bath was only open from evening until night, so I couldn't take a bath in the morning. Currently, it is only possible to stay overnight without meals and no meals are provided, but there is a 24-hour convenience store nearby, making it convenient for families to travel cheaply. There is also a refrigerator in the room, which is helpful. Unfortunately, there are no affordable restaurants nearby. Considering the cost-effectiveness, I think it is suitable for a family trip.

1.2 km from Kinugawa Onsen Station, turn right at the station and get a bus at station 5 to go to the hotel. We walked to the hotel, walked over a bridge with many steps, and turned right to the hotel. There is a free bathrobe in front of the hotel counter for visitors to use. Visitors can wear a bathrobe to go outside the hotel. The front desk of the hotel can reserve the bus time to Kinugawa Onsen Station on the 2nd day, 190 adults and 100 yen for children. The front desk will ask you to go to dinner time, the restaurant will prepare the dinner in advance, and the service staff will go to your room when you are dining. Dinner is not a buffet, it is prepared in advance. There are many varieties of dinner, very refined and very Japanese. It is a highlight of this hotel. The room has a balcony, just on the edge of Kinugawa. The room has a separate toilet, bath room, and washroom. General hotels are all together, this hotel is divided into three separate rooms, which do not interfere very well. Hot springs are on the 1st floor. When you go to the hot springs, you must bring the bath towels and bath towels provided in the hotel room. The hot springs on the 1st floor do not have these. Breakfast is a buffet, more generous. There are very few Chinese tourists. It is only us, the other is Japanese. In short, it is a very cost-effective hotel.

The room was smaller than I expected. The brown rice tea in the room was fragrant and delicious, but is that all? The inside of the hotel was carefully cleaned, there was a microwave oven and a relaxation room, and everything we needed was there. ”I'm not a member, so I'm not familiar with the system, but it seems that there are rooms with kitchenettes.” Rather than the hotel here, the Kinugawa Onsen station and the area around the hotel are too desolate. Sometimes it's closed and the fun is thin. In front of Kinugawa Onsen Station, all the restaurants are closed at 5:00 in the evening, and if you want to shop, there is only Lawson, which is about a 6-minute walk away. Compared to Nikko Station, it is surprisingly inconvenient. I don't think I'll go again... The dinner buffet was delicious, and if it were a hotel dinner, it wouldn't be expensive, but Kinugawa Onsen itself is too lonely, which is a shame. Maybe it's because I visited out of season. During the fall foliage and fresh green season, you can choose various activities and sightseeing.

Room is huge compared to most Japanese hotel rooms. Modern styling, particularly loved the layout of the room. Tv was a great size and quality but disappointedly didn’t have any smart tv apps you can log into. It does have movie and other satellite channels. Bed was huge and super comfortable, 2 pillows on each side and a good weight duvet. We stayed for 2 nights and loved our stay.

The room is quite large, the beds are all large double beds, the tables, chairs and sofas are also very good, there are also projectors and TVs, the kitchen is also fully equipped, including a microwave, induction cooker, and cooking utensils, so you can cook by yourself. The whole room is a big open space The room has no partitions and is not suitable for those who need privacy. Those who live on the first floor may face the noise from residents walking on the second floor. The hotel is located next to the highway, next to a small village, about a quarter of an hour's walk from Tobu Nikko Station. Although the road is not long, it is not very smooth. There is a 7-11 and a larger supermarket within three minutes. There is no front desk, check-in requires self-service, and the room has a password lock. Remember that you cannot check in before three o'clock and you cannot store your luggage. Your luggage can be stored at the station. It cost 5,100 RMB to stay for three days. Arrived at Hotel and parked the rental car in the car park for free. Staff were very efficient and check in was very quick. Japan is still very Covid conscious and masks are worn everywhere. We were advised that there were were facilities for making Tea/ coffee in the room and that we should take any provisions required (for free) from the table arranged in the lobby i.e. tea / coffee / toothbrushes..etc. Room was lovely and spacious with a comfortable bed and lovely en-suite- lovely deep bath (shower fixings would be low for taller individuals). They had an evening bar and Onsen (natural hot water spring separate for males and females). They had a restaurant that provided an extensive buffet menu for breakfast - very tasty, and they had a select menu for the evenings and what we tried was very tasty also. The staff in the Hotel and restaurant were most friendly and encouraged me when I attempted some Japanese words. My wife and I booked the Nikko Station Hotel II for April 13 - 15 as a non refundable reservation. This week, the US State Dept issued a Level 4 warning for all US citizens to avoid international travel due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In spite of their normal policy, the Nikko Station Hotel II made an exception due to the COVID-19 pandemic and issued a full refund. We will reschedule our trip to Japan after the pandemic passes and WILL DEFINITELY rebook at the Nikko Station Hotel II, as they have shown excellent customer service in a difficult time!

Last September, I had dinner at Nikko Jingu and had a good impression. This time, I booked a newly renovated room in the new building with breakfast and dinner. The room is 31 square meters, with high ceilings, facing the sun, and has a large space. The decoration style is elegant and retro. The room has two defects: one is the noise. The air conditioner is loud, the windows are not soundproof at all, and the traffic outside is very loud. I have to wear earplugs or Apple earplugs to listen to music in the room, otherwise I can't fall asleep and stay in the room. The second is that the shower stands in the bathtub, and there is a small dirty piece of the shower curtain. This restaurant does not have a large bathroom, so you can only take a shower in the room. The window leaks a little light. The crab cakes and Jingu-style boiled fish for dinner are very unpalatable, and the ice cream in the dessert is very good. In terms of service, some of the restaurant waiters are excellent and some are average. They leave without saying goodbye. The quality of food and service is not as good as the low-priced Chuzenji Jingu. I observed that there are only 3 rooms in the new building that are not noisy, but there is a row of rooms near the courtyard in the main building. The location can walk to the temples of Shinkyo and Toshogu. There is a shuttle bus, see Figure 1. Jingu is a long-established hotel. I hope it will get better and better. I will stay here again when I come to Nikko.

We stayed 3 nights in a large room with 4 beds, 2 adults 2 teenagers. Just be conscious that the hotel is on Lake Chuzenji which is 30 or 40 minutes out of Nikko proper, served by a regular bus that goes up and down the mountain stopping at the different lakes, waterfalls, onsens, and historical sites. Hotel has own indoor and outdoor onsen which is fantastic. The chef does a nightly 3-5 course Japanese banquet which we found a bit challenging but was amazing. Different every night. The chef made our young daughter Japanese beef curry when she was struggling with the banquet.somewhat traditional, house robe and slippers in the house and so on. Definitely worth a visit.

I stayed at the annex's Aiyama no sho for a family and used it. Because the building is old, the interior and fixtures are suitable, but the room was large enough and the cleaning seemed to be well done. Because only the heating is powerful gas heater, the room temperature adjustment in the large room is a little tricky. The futon was an old-fashioned Senbei futon, but I could sleep without feeling cold even at night when the outside air was close to 0 degrees. As the hotel's name suggests, the hot spring is great, the smell of white turbid water and strong sulfur is impactful. The inner hot water in the annex is wet, and the main building with an open-air bath is hot. The next morning, the family said that the skin was wet with the mouth, and I was surprised that the middle-aged man was clearly wet. The customer service is also polite, and I think it is a very conscientious inn of reasonable price setting if I don't expect excessively from HP's clean photographs and decoration. Is it the best to spend with a friend who is good in the location and is not mindful? The bookcase in the lobby is biased in the good sense of the taste of the selector and is interesting, so please come.
