Perfect location near train station. Staff spoke English well and gave further instructions with a small English paper (on how to use immentinties and check out etc). We had a double bed room, so it was larger than others. Onsens are available for both men and women. Laundry machines are on the 12th floor. They have parking if need be. Down the street is a Mister Donut and Shopping complex. Breakfast was Japanese style. There were some veggie options, a lot of seafood, so if you're vegan or allergic to seafood, you may want another option.

Following the route inn in front of Higashi Muroran Station, it is a new route inn in Higashi Muroran Nakajima Cho . There is a little table and chair even in the single, the size is sufficient . The public bath was not used, Breakfast buffet had Ikura and Tarako (tiger stick beach processing?), I enjoyed it quite well . Convenience stores are also unexpectedly right next door . Parking is large, so there will be no anxiety about car use .

Every year, many children's shoes go to Japan for bathing, and there are countless hot spring options in Japan from south to north. But my favorite is to wait for this sulfur hot spring. # 花 中 庭 花 屋 Ryokan Ryokan [Location] # ▲ Kashotei Hanaya This ryokan is known for traditional Kaiseki cuisine, and guests can enjoy breakfast and dinner in the room. The hotel offers sulfur hot springs, as well as open-air baths in addition to the large baths. There are three choices of rooms: Japanese, semi-Japanese and semi-Western, and western. ▲ ᖇOOᗰ I chose Japanese style, enough for 18 square meters. The hotel staff will help you make the bed, and the luggage box will help you get it when you check in ... The room has a large window facing the garden. ▲ ᗷᖇᗴᗩKᖴᗩᔕT It is included in the room rate. The buffet is very rich. When you check in, you must reserve a meal for the next day. Time based on your next day trip ... ▲ ᕼOT ᔕᑭᖇ I ᑎᘜᔕ The hot spring here is divided into indoor and outdoor. It is recommended to go outdoors to run a wave. It is very comfortable. Although the pool is not large, it is really comfortable. The skin is smooth after soaking, and you can drink a glass of Japanese beer after soaking ... Drinks are free in the coffee area in the hotel. Those who can't drink beer can enjoy other drinks here. They also bought horse oil here. (I used the hotel bathhouse and found it very useful. I bought two bottles immediately after soaking) ▲ Tᖇᗩ ᑎᔕᑭ OᖇT Waiting at the other train station, do taxi. 6.7 km from the hotel. However, to the train station is the scheduled hotel shuttle bus, you need to book the departure time for the waiter one day in advance. ▲ ᗩᖇO ᑌᑎᗪ Ten minutes walk to the city 15 minutes to Hell Valley 15 minutes to Bear Park Cable Car 💰 Double room from 1500RMB 🏷️ No.134 Noboribetsu, Noboribetsu-cho, Hokkaido

Noboribetsu, Hokkaido Prefecture. Filled with the mists of the North Pacific Ocean deep in the forrest valley lies the home of the thermal volcanic “hell valley”, all-natural hot springs, lakes, and the cuddly Bear Mountain Park. This is a tourist’s escape from whatever burdens them in the city, into the natural wonderland of mountains, hot spring streams, and warm local hospitality. The Noboribetsu Grand Hotel was opened in 1938. What was the Noboribetsu Guest House now revolutionized and expanded into a 300 plus room hotel with a finished off with a hot spring spa. Now a popular holiday getaway for the tourists both from Japan and abroad, this hotel packs itself to the brim both during the hot summers and the freezing winters. As part of our adventures down and around Hokkaido, we experienced this hotel and here’s our honest review of the Noboribetsu Grand Hotel: Our stay occurred from July 22nd to 23rd, this was our first night in Hokkaido after a long flight from Shanghai. A long hour drive from the highly trafficked New Chitose Airport would lead you to the Grand Hotel. Upon driving up, you would see how old the hotel is with its grey tiled walls and white drive up area. Greeting us at the hotel were the bellmen bowing as they would in the Japanese-style etiquette as you enter the lobby filled with one of Noboribetsu’s gift shop, monster figures, and marbled front desk area. None of the staff members spoke much English, so our lovely tour guide helped us in translation. Our check-in agent guided us through the specific details of the hotel facilities, breakfast facilities, and tatami installation times. We were given a 4-person Japanese-style “VIP” room, which consists of an at most 30 SQM space with a tatami floored living/bedroom space combination, a sitting room, a toilet room, a sink area, and a compact bathroom with separate shower & bathtub facilities. During the daytimes, living room acts a place for dining and seating with tatami chairs and a table. The TV stands at a corner. At around 7PM, the room attendants would turnover the tatami beds by moving the tables and chairs into the closet space and setting up the tatami beds. The tatami beds were rather inconvenient for us because of the size of the pillows that made of the tatami rather hard to sleep on. Don’t get us wrong, tatami beds are an efficient sleeping beds for families, but a single small sized pillow per bed makes the difference between authentic Japanese comfort and discomfort. Much of the challenge during the sleeping process was making sure your body stayed on the mattress when getting used to the firm yet small bean-filled pillow. I would recommend rooms that they provide that caters to a more westernized style with full beds. The tatami issue is a situation the hotel needs to revamp on. If they can start providing extra pillows in the closet or thicker sized pillows, it would be a great turnaround. The Japanese Hot Spring SPA concept is quite bizarre. Unlike mos

The hotel has a grand appearance. You can see it immediately after getting off the Noboribetsu Onsen Bus Terminal. It can be reached within a 5-minute walk. There is a convenience store near the hot spring street. The space in the room is large, but the only air-conditioning equipment is heating. Although I visited in winter, the heating was relatively strong and hot, so I needed to open some windows for ventilation. The large bathhouse has two floors. Men and women exchange entrances in the morning and evening. It is very large and has multiple hot spring pools. The large bathing room on the B2 floor is very beautiful, so it is recommended to go to the open-air couple.

We had high expectations based on other reviews but had such a terrible stay that we are in the process of seeking a refund. Booked the largest room to fit the family bt were then told that I had only booked for two. This was my fault as I should have read the fine print but was fine with the extra charge - however this was then quoted as 50,000 yen for each of my two kids. Higher than the charge for the original room per person. They kept us in the lobby for half an hour while seeing if they could find food - the manager in a loud voice on the phone describing how the ”gaijin” had messed up the reservation and could they possibly help...it seems he didn't realise I speak fluent Japanese. Anyway long story short we booked a separate room or my kids at a cheaper rate. The hotel is very dated and not worth the price - the superior rooms have not changed since the 80s bubble period and the cleaning failed to find a very unfortunate item from the previous guest in our bed - which I have never seen in 30 years of staying in top hotels. The food was very nice for dinner and the lady we had as our waitress was lovely. Unfortunately the front manager and the overall experience spoiled what was supposed to be the highlight of our Hokkaido trip. Unmitigated disaster.

We stayed on a tour of Trapix. Noboribetsu Onsen seems to have several hotels of the same affiliation, among which it seems to be a hotel of a convenient rank. It was a little far from the hot spring town, but it was about 15 minutes walk to ”Hell Valley”. The hot spring is located further down the stairs from the first basement floor, but I thought that the five bathtubs had different spring quality hot water, and it was a hotel built on the source of Noboribetsu Onsen. This hot spring was the best. At the restaurant, the table was assigned to each room for the tour guests, so if I went in time, I could eat without being crowded. It was snowing outside the window and there was a taste. Dinner was a buffet, but all-you-can-eat crabs seemed to be on sale, but the shrimp was better. Squid somen and shrimp tempura were also delicious. There are many Hokkaido dishes for breakfast, and it seems that you can have a cup of rice with just squid sashimi from the morning. I thought that the dessert mango and almond tofu were similar to high-end Chinese restaurants. It was nice that the room had a large size of a Japanese-style room and a Western-style room, but it is dry even if it is humidified with an air purifier, so be careful in winter.

Everything was lovely. The grand bath was an eye opener and I love it. The breakfast spread was good too! We had ramen at one of the restaurants in the hotel at around 830pm after watching the demon show. We stayed there for 2 nights and did not utilise the grand bath on the 2nd night. I was charged the osen for 2 nights. My friend was not charged for the 2 nights as he did not utilize the onsen. The staff should have asked me before requesting payment of the 2 nights. - Carrine

A real Japanese hotel, you have to take off your shoes when you enter the door, wear the hotel's bamboo shoes to the room or walk around; when you go out, hand over the key to the front desk, their staff will help you take out the shoes and put a chair next to it for easy shoes. The hotel staff is mainly elderly, with Japanese-style clothing, very Japanese flavor; The front desk staff is fluent in English and will give you details about the location of the hotel, the time it takes to walk to different attractions, the hotel also has coupons for tickets to bear ranch, if I remember correctly, it is 10% discount. Booked a set meal with half a meal, including dinner and breakfast, and a special person will send the room to set it up at a fixed time; dinner is about to be sent to the 2-3 round, and the food can't be supported. The key is that when I haven't digested the meal the night before, the breakfast the next day is delivered as scheduled. I feel that the night and morning of staying in this hotel are eating and eating. The room is actually very large, with a living room (Japanese lounge), guest room and separate bathroom, bathroom. The hotel's hot spring pool is not big, the hot spring should not be the mainstay of their home, the mainstay may be a Japanese-style set meal.

KkennykhtThe hotel seems to be renovated with good wifi coverage, and there is a smart tv in the room which one can log into Netflix account. The bedding is thin, so one will feel the floor when lying on it. Dinner may not be the most impressive, but still good value at the price point they are charging.

GGuest UserStayed for 3 consecutive holidays in January. In front of the bus terminal. It is my prerequisite that dinner is not a buffet style, so when I searched for a reasonable inn, it was inevitable that I came here. Others will be at a reasonable price, and it will be difficult to use it easily, like a light hot spring for one night alone. It's a sulfur spring that seems to be Noboribetsu, and I think the hot springs are good. The smell of sulfur permeates the body for a while. Dinner is room meal. Well, is it a price? The taste and quantity are reasonable. Breakfast is buffet style, and there are plenty of friends of rice such as tarako and salty. Can you eat this if you care about the pudding body? There was curry in the morning, so I had it lightly after this. There is a public bath called ”Sagiri Yu” next to it, and I got a ticket to enter freely before and after the stay, so I was worried about going, but I gave up because it was cold. If it's not snowy season, you can go, but it's really annoying to change clothes and wear shoes.

GGuest UserThis is a belated post. I stayed 1 night in this hotel in May 2018 and it was unforgettable. Each room is as big as an apartment, complete with lounge and private onsen in the bathroom. But I must warn that the bathroom windows have no shades and it looks out to the car park and forest (depending on which side of the hotel your room is). Overall, the rooms are big, beds are comfortable and bathrooms are luxurious. The breakfast is also delicious!

GGuest UserThe only advantage is that you can share the large hot spring bath with Daiichi Takimoto opposite. Although it is a hotel, the lobby and corridors are quite new, but the room facilities are too old-fashioned and need to be updated! Otherwise, how much water would be wasted in this old-fashioned toilet, and the sound would make the earth shake. The glazing is also single glazed. The room is big.

AAndersonRossFront desk attendant was very friendly and polite - please be aware that you may have to knock on the glass front door if you do not yet have your access PIN as it is often locked. Small lockers for luggage (backpack size) are available free of charge - you will either require a small padlock or purchase one for just 100yen in the machine next to the lockers. In accordance with its price, the room furnishings are of simple wooden construction but very spacious inside and have a nice natural scent of pine as you sleep 😌. Plenty of shared access amenities such as guest fridge, freezer, microwave, etc. Location is ideal as it is next to JR noboribetsu station, from which you can pay roughly ¥650 for a round trip (12 minutes each way) bus ticket to Hell valley (jigokudani). Incredible alternative to a stay in the large hotels up there for travellers on a budget, particularly as most hotels will sell access to their onsens to non-guests for around ¥2,000!

GGuest UserI arrived late in the evening, but the parking lot was only available on a steep slope or a little further away, so I recommend going early. The room feels a little old, but I think all ryokan are like this. The dinner buffet was very satisfying with a large selection of freshly baked and fried dishes! I think that there are many kinds of breakfast, so you won't get tired of it even if you stay for a long time. The bath was large, and I was able to fully enjoy the hot water of Noboribetsu. Sauna is also available.
