We didn’t stay at the hotel but had lunch. Lunch was excellent with a good spread of food. As a visitor to Norway, I can say the lunch was cooked with a genuine local flavor and not catered to tourist taste. I really liked it. The view was fantastic and the service was excellent!

A good hotel which we used a stop over towards Oslo. Quite a recent hotel, clean and good. Breakfast was very good and we also had nice dinner at the restaurant. We appreciated the place and would recommend it.

A road hotel at the foot of the mountain, with the town located approximately two kilometers away (about 30 minutes). To enter the rooms you need the room card. Breakfast and dinner were buffets, although I found it a bit lacking in terms of variety. There were three of us in the room, and one of the beds was small, our feet stuck out of the bed. The comfort of the beds, except for this small one, was very good. The bathroom was very spacious, and the shower was comfortable to shower in. The hotel staff with very good attention.

If you are looking for a hotel in a scenic spot this is not for you! But if you need a comfortable, friendly hotel to stay overnight in between A & B then this is perfect! On arrival my thought was "Oh great, we are staying in a crappy hotel at a truck stop/gas station!" That being said I was very impressed! The room was comfortable & modern, had a large bathroom with a great shower, comfy beds & the staff were wonderful. We had a view of the parking lot but others in our group had a view of the countryside. The rooms are in a separate building to the restaurant but were away from the gas station & were quiet. In the main building is a cafeteria-like restaurant, but the food that was cooked to order was simple (burgers etc) but tasty & they even provided me with a GF burger bun. There was a decent bar, and although the eating area was a bit like a motorway service area & not intimate, there is a comfortable lounge with tv, & tables & chairs outside next a quiet green space. Breakfast was great & I would say probably one of the most generous on our trip around Norway, with gluten-free bread option for our group members with allergies. I would definitely stop overnight here again. It had everything a group of tired, damp bikers needed!
