The Bowling Hotel

Having a heat tolerance close to 0 but wanting to participate in the Paléo festival for at least a short evening, I decided as a precaution to book a room in a nearby hotel in order to benefit from the air conditioning if I felt unwell. .. First surprise; this hotel whose classic rooms are at 165chf and the superior ones at 175chf announces very inflated prices for the Paleo period... Comparing the two types of room I opt for the "superior" because it is mentioned in the description of 'a balcony and a terrace. The amount amounts to 230CHF (instead of the usual 175CHF, the services are already not worth 175CHF in my opinion... for 230CHF it is simply a steal). Check-in in 2:2 just to enjoy the festival as quickly as possible, we leave everything in the room and head off... Second surprise, not the slightest balcony in the room, a window opening directly onto the restaurant... for a "superior" room it's a success... Third surprise, when it's time to cool down between 2 concerts, we enter the room, we discover that the air conditioning is not working... given the outside temperature ( 30°...) no need to consider opening the window to cool the room. In short, a terrible night sleeping with a regularly wet bath towel. In these cases, it is customary to contact reception to simply resolve the problem... unfortunately no one at that time but a "just in case" telephone number... which is no longer assigned, In short, we go back up empty-handed and we come across the person in the distance, who on our arrival, had checked our reservation to access the parking lot... My partner signals to him and this brave man cuts through a corridor to go take refuge in a room (because yes... through the glass door it is possible to see...). In the middle of the night, we open the window because the temperature had dropped... this was obviously without counting on the arrival at 5 a.m. of the restaurant staff in an impressive noise, no longer allowing us to sleep... So the hour strikes from the shower, at first glance in a pretty bathroom, but on closer inspection the cleanliness is mixed (brown marks at the level of the missing shower drainer). Then, to end in style, breakfast with a choice as limited as possible, not bad but not really good either... well, in short, worthy of the stay.
