I was a bit concerned with construction still going on in the hotel when booking, however it did NOT affect our stay, at all. Noise is very minor, pool is huge, so you are able to stay away from it PLUS you are also able to use the pool at the sister Ritz property which is a 5 minute walk. The construction is supposed to be finished in November đ¤ Now more details about the hotel overall: ROOMS Beautiful and freshly renovated. We had a balcony and it was nice to step out to it to enjoy beautiful view of the lakes and for a breath of fresh air HOUSEKEEPING Excellent. Meticulously clean, turndown service perfect, no questions :) One thing to make it even better would be to put slippers in the room - I am pretty sure we could get them upon request though. BREAKFAST Excellent selection, with fresh omelette, fresh squeezed juice station where you can make your own juice, pancakes prepared to order, variety of fruit - very good! Price: $25 for continental only, $35 for full selection. As Ambassador members we got Continental breakfast complimentary with an option to upgrade to full bar for $7. This is fine, but if I were the manager I would make it fully complimentary to people staying at Marriott properties for 100+ night per year ⌠SPECIAL SHOUT OUT AND THANK YOU TO KARIMA who took excellent care of us and provided warm and personalized service during both days we visited Citron for breakfast. SPA/GYM Shared space with ritz carlton, beautiful; as part of your resort fee package you get to visit their classes - they have yoga, stretching etc. However keep in mind that those are only available on certain days of the week :) It would be nice to have some alternative for off days, I would love to go to one of the classes but both my days fell on off days unfortunately. You can also get bikes for 1 hour per day for free. SPA area has their own pool and hot tub which are basically empty because you need to have a spa appointment in order to use them. SHUTTLES TO DISNEY are available but you need to book them 24 hours in advance, we missed that part and had to Uber đ POOL SERVICE was pretty good across JW and Ritz, with plentiful chairs, towels and friendly staff to assist to your wishes :) GABRIEL at JW pool provided great service and was very nice - thank you Gabriel! Dear Fellow Traveler, THANK YOU for reading all the way through this review, I hope it was helpful :) please PRESS THUMBS UP BUTTON if that is so :) If you have questions about the hotel, want to see more photos and videos or just want to say Hi, feel free to reach out to my INSTA @daria.newyork â¤ď¸ Cheers to good people, magnificent places and unique experiences!

We stayed for 4 nights beginning on July4th. OUTSTANDING experience and would stay there again. First time stay and Ann Clarke, Guest Experience Expert, seized the day for us with great care and grace. As a long-time Bonvoy Rewards member I was upgraded to one of the best rooms we have experienced through Marriott. It was a Lake Front Suite which was very kind treatment for a business road warrior. Living Room and separate bedroom with two balconies. The 4th fireworks were spectacular and almost eye-level. They do them on Saturdays too. Next time! The grounds are immaculate. The rooms are spotless. The service is what you want from Ritz Carlton with everyone friendly and eager to help. My wife enjoyed a spa visit and I went to the gym for a great workout. The Ritz and JW are connected as two massive conference centers which added extra dining options so we didn't need to leave the resort. Massive corridors and more meeting rooms than we could count. For our needs we added the Club Lounge access which took the pressure off incidentals. Need food or drink? Head to the Club Lounge which is open all-day until 10 p.m. Food presentations throughout the day in a comfortable room with a balcony and nice view of Orlando. We also dined at Knife and Spoon which was a treat for an upscale dinner. Great food and service. All good. Finally we traded the hassle and expense of an ocean beach vacation for the Ritz Carlton pool. It was hot this week but the pool at RC is clean and spacious. Many chairs open. I hope the nearest beach and long-lines were fun? We had a great time here. Service was excellent there with lots of choices for drinks and food poolside. Overall this resort gets all 5 stars in my book. Have fun!

This is not your normal Courtyard experience. First, there is no roadway signage and the signing the building is not illuminated making for a confusing evening arrival. I was woken up by drag racing on the street at 2:30 a.m. which ensued. I understand, this is not the fault of the hotel. I had a small group stay which was meant to be paid on the company card. I saw that one of my guest was charged on her personal card. I went down to the desk at 3 a.m. to sort this out as I feared my other guests would be charged early in the morning. I filled out all the required paperwork prior to arriving which could not be located. I then forwarded the signed copies that they had emailed me to the person on duty. Later in morning third person emailed me to fill out the said form after I had checked out. Truthfully, I am still not sure if it was squared away. I would have appreciated a sorry for the trouble but alas, nothing of the sort happened.

Great room type, the room said that you can stay for 8 people, 6 people are no problem, two separate suites have a bathroom, the living room has a sofa bed, if the family travels together, the two families are more than enough. The resort is very large, the domestic community, the environment is very beautiful, about 15 kilometers away from Universal Studios, it is much more comfortable to live with the car than to live in Universal Studios.

I wish I had more nice things to say about our visit to Rosen Shingle Creek. Overall it was a nice stay, but little negatives piled up throughout, resulting in this average review. I brought my family along with me for a very large conference being held at the Orlando Convention Center, and the RSC was an official conference hotel, so many attendees were staying here. PROS . The staff! Overall, wonderful, friendly, engaging and responsive. Shout out to Heather and Mike at the Cat-Tails bar and poolside service. We had an Amazon Fresh order scheduled (there is a small fridge in the room) and the bell stand delivered it within 5 minutes of us requesting it. My mom and niece were also staying at the hotel, and the front desk attendant thoughtfully placed our rooms right next to each other. . Conference management. We had a great conference rate and the acknowledgment of our (significant) presence was thoughtful. Overall, the team was well prepared for several hundred attendees moving around the property. CONS . Rooms NOT that family friendly. I have a real issue with hotel bathroom designs that arenât accessible for kids. I had to drag the ottoman into the bathroom area so my youngest could reach the sink. A huge leather ottoman in the bathroom is not ideal. . Substandard housekeeping. I asked for laundry bags from our service provider and was told they werenât available. She pressured us out of our room one day saying she was trying to finish her shift early and upset my niece to the point of tears. Another morning, we had privacy lock and sign on and they were knocking at 8:30 to come in. It all felt very disconnected. . The Food. The biggest disappointment was that a resort this size, and a Universal Studios property, was such a let-down when it came to food. If you have any food allergy whatsoever, donât stay here. The RSC makes little to no accommodation for food allergy or intolerance, which is very surprising in this day and age. My husband is celiac and other than FRENCH FRIES and VEGETABLES was extremely restricted in his food options. Only one restaurant was able to offer him gluten free bread for a burger. Food allergies are more and more common, it is unreasonable that RSC was lacking in its accommodations. In comparison to Disney properties where almost anything can be accommodated for food allergies, it was a glaring difference. Food options for children were also limited and unhealthy. After three days of eating cereal, French fries, and cardboard pizza, my kids were desperate for a freaking hot dog. None of the seven restaurants offered such a thing, but I was told they were available at the golf course snack stand. So I walk all the way out there to get three hot dogs and they wereâŚsold out of hot dogs. Our Amazon Fresh delivery was a godsend, and thereâs a Publix market at the end of the (very long) resort drive. . Universal partner means what?? One afternoon we wanted to head over to Universal City Walk. Unfortunately, this

The entire staff was amazing, and the room was very nice looking and comfortable! Special thanks to Carla, Ericka, and the manager handling breakfast every morning, as well as the cleaning staff Maribel and Maria who went above and beyond in their service. I want to thank Maribel for her kindness and compassion by providing additional items when my son hurt his leg (gracias!!), and also the reception staff who were kind and helpful. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Orlando. We stayed at the Element Orlando, which shares a building with ALoft. The room was clean, and we had everything we needed. One small issue was that the fridge wasnât working, but this wasnât a deal-breaker since we were only here for the weekend and hardly needed it.

Great experience overall, the hotel was very clean, the breakfast was tasty and the staff friendly. Me and my spouse felt really comfortable and satisfied with the attention provided by Alejandro, the receptionist. The Thai restaurant he recommended for us was top tier :)

One night 9/13/22. Loyal to Marriott so I sent info and pictures to corporate. Headboard was all torn up. Dark stains in shower. Cigarette burns in carpet. Poor lighting. No safe. Side door of hotel that needs room card to open could not lock. Was open all night. This door was 15 feet from my room. Hotel sign with name on top of building had only half of lights working at night. This is what you see with the dumps on hwy 192 in Kissimmee. Good points- employees very helpful. Lobby and food area very clean. Pool area also very well kept. Spent 28K points to stay . Hope I hear from Marriott.

The hotel was super clean and updated. Front staff was very friendly and it was quiet and we slept great. We came for Howl O Scream at Seaworld and expected there to be a shuttle available. They only had a shuttle for 30 minutes free after the event started so we ended up driving to a Seaworld and paying $30 to park as well as paying the fee to park at the hotel. They say itâs a 10 minute walk that is a lie and there is no good way to get there on foot. I was disappointed that there was no shuttle service especially when you are a Seaworld preferred hotel. The breakfast was so busy and unorganized, we had to wait for everything, they ran out of yogurt they ran out of eggs twice before we got to it. It was just not very good overall in my opinion. Not a lot of selection either. Overall good trip but beware they only have morning shuttle services to Seaworld

GGuest UserThe room card allows you to enter the park in advance. It should be good to go in summer. You can experience the swimming pool downstairs. We had to wear coats in the morning and evening during the Chinese New Year. The hotel facilities are a bit old and the hygiene is average. Fortunately, the price is acceptable.
GGuest UserIt was our 1st visit to Orlando, Florida and with deep research over Google and other websites, we opted for this property and it stood beyond expectations. It was our 1st Marriott Bonvoy stay and truly it took care of us as their own family. Check-in was smooth and we reached before time and they adjusted us immediately. As we booked a family suite with kitchen, the room has everything required although we carried utensil with us, which returned back as it is. Thank you. The stay was comfortable and we walked nearby places to explore too. Just in 500mtrs walk, we found supermarket for our needs. Also the property has inhouse pizza restaurant however you can order your own too online. The pool was well taken care off and kids loved it. The property has onsite barbecue options in case you wish to use it. The coffee is available 24/7 and you could fill water from the water station too. We didn't used the parking however it's available at addled fee (reasonable). The property is ideally located from all attractions and free shuttle service is available at scheduled times. We used it as well and the timing was prompt. The breakfast is complimentary and it takes care of the morning needs for almost everyone. Although we couldn't extend our stay as the property was fully occupied, we had to move out to other property after our checkout because our flight got cancelled due to Hurricane Ian. But no complaints , as they tried their best to check availability and felt sorry that they couldnt accommodate us. They also have onsite laundry (self service) and kids zone which was exceptional. Last moment we booked another Marriott property in Celebrations but there is a huge difference between both properties and there was no match to TownePlace by Marriott. We will.definitely recommend it to all we know who plan their trip to Orlando.
GGuest UserThis hotel is in an absolutely fantastic location for Universal Studios - thatâs without a doubt the key selling point. Itâs next door to a DoubleTree Hilton which charges a lot more but is directly next door so with the Best Western you can stay just as close but for less. I had a problem with the air conditioning kicking in and out all night and the buttons wouldnât fix it. I rang and reported it to reception the next morning, and when I returned I asked at reception and the person manning the desk didnât know anything about it. I was worried. However I shouldnât have been as when I got to the room it had been fixed by maintenance and remained on (phew) for the rest of my stay. The cleaners were great and serviced my room every day, leaving it lovely and fresh for when I returned from the theme park. The overall state of the hotel is a bit tired but this shouldnât put you off booking - a hotel this close to Universal should mean you spend most of each day at Universal! If youâre planning to spend more time in the hotel, and donât just need a comfy bed to stop over, then this may not be the hotel for you. However if youâre looking for a good price and a great location this is for you for sure! Just to note, there is a free shuttle to Universal it leaves once in the morning and returns about 5.30 (check most up to date times with the hotel). Itâs free but quite small. Not a problem as Best Western is the first stop but it does pick up from a Hampton as well, and gets quite crowded. All in all, Iâd give this hotel a strong 4/5!
GGuest UserWe happened to come across the Residence Inn as our flights were delayed and we needed to find new accommodation as our previous hotel was at capacity. So I did book this quite quickly and frantically however im so glad I found this hotel.
If you are looking to stay some where that is less crowded and without a million kids running up and down hallways then this is a good choice.
There is also a lovely pool area with spa to hangout for the day and laze around.
The breakfast is simple yet satisfying with both hot and cold options and you can even make Mickey Mouse waffles.
The only couple of very teeny tiny negative comments (which not all at the fault of the hotel ) is
1) this is not an ideal area If you donât have a car unless you like walking. You will not be able to simply walk out get a coffe and comeback unless you are willing to walk at least 20 mins and cross major roads âŚ.However you can Uber eats food drinks alcohol etc for as little as $2.00 USD so you donât even have to leave if you donât want to.
2) our air-conditioner did not work so the room became really humid I didnât bother saying anything because we opened the windows and the cool air helped cool the room down
I would definitely stay here again if I had a car or just wanted to have a place to chill and never leave the hotel đ
GGuest UserVery good similar to a motel, with a swimming pool, a Starbucks, a small supermarket and light meals on site. Travel is also more convenient, 20 minutes walk to the convention center
DDesilianaThe hotel location is very recomended for you who want to go universal studio or go to the premium outlet. Dont forget you have to booked a bus to go the universal studio the day before, inside a hotel there is outlet for you to booked the bus. If you want to rent a car there also a rent car outlet inside the hotel. I go to premium outlet , walk to 10 min only. If using uber it cost you about CAD 9. I just dont like the room hotel floor all using carpet. Thanks
GGuest UserWe checked in around 7 pm with a gentleman that has a unique name should have told him to write it down I apologize but I hope you get recognition he checked us in and we were on our way to enjoy the resort unfortunately 3 hours later we noticed our ac not working and I told him about he said I'll said a tech when we came back in wasn't fixed so I called front desk and James answered apologizing about the situation and that unfortunately he couldn't do anything till the mornin, in the morning Zoe and Jillian helped my family with our extension and were able to move us to a more comfortable room with a working ac thank you all so much for going above and beyond we had a blast!! Definitely going back!!
GGuest UserMuch better than 1st time. Hotel is under remodel.. They just finished their pool and it looks great.. They're working on the roof. The rooms still need some work. But they are coming a long way. Price is right. There is a deposit which is I believe $50. You do get it back and roughly about 7 to 10 days depending on your credit card. It is not pet friendly unless you have a service dog. Hotel is right before the Orlando health Doctor Phillips. Rooms come with a microwave and a Mini refrigerator. They do serve a breakfast that you must eat out front. You cannot take it back to your room. All their handicapped rooms or on the 1st floor.
GGuest UserIt was an okay stay I rate it 3 stars because most of the place was not nice looking. Door had a chunk missing and the walls where broken and badly painted.
