Really bad experience when I stay at Exedra Cave. There was an unpleasant incident, so after 1 hour of entering the room, I found my room was very cold, apparently the room heater was broken. I called reception and was told to wait. After waiting 1 hour no one came, I went to the lobby to complain, was asked to wait again. Half an hour later still no one came, I went to the lobby and waited 40 minutes, while the children and wife were already cold, especially since the hotel didn't have blankets, only sheets. After 40 minutes in the lobby and seeing that the 4 heaters that the engineering staff had brought were not my quota, I was angry, the answer was just ”there's nothing we can do except wait”. While still angry, I just went to my room, unpacked clothes that could be used as blankets. Finally, after an hour, a portable heater was sent to the room. So in total I waited almost 4 hours. It's called a portable heater, it definitely takes time to heat up, so in the end we just had to sleep. After 8 hours the room temperature becomes a comfortable normal. Well, it turns out there were 2 other tour participants' rooms that were very positive thinking because the rooms were cold but didn't complain, so they wore 2 sets of jackets while sleeping because they thought it was a cave hotel feature so they slept in a natural atmosphere. The hotel can actually be said to have a good landscape, but it is less effective for older people and those with children because the location of one room to another is quite far and requires stairs. The lobby is located on the top floor while the restaurant is located on the bottom floor, so if you have breakfast or dinner it's quite a long way up and down. Arriving at the hotel, our luggage was dropped off by the hotel staff, immediately asked for dinner. The menu is rice, chicken, potatoes, vegetables, tomatoes, fried rice, fish, cheese, salad, various cakes, pudding. After dinner, we were taken to our room by the staff, it turned out our room was close to the lobby so we had to climb 4 floors using stairs. Arriving at the room, go into the room, the sleeping area is quite narrow because it only fits one mattress then the TV, the bathroom area is quite spacious combined with a cupboard and minibar. There is a shower sink and closet. The amenities are quite complete. You could say I was unlucky because I got a room with a narrow bedroom, the other room was more proportional (looked spacious). Because it's a cave hotel, the layout of one bedroom to another is of course different. At the Exedra Cave hotel we stayed 2 days. Our room also had a balcony (which of course I didn't use because it was so cold). There are no swimming pool and gym facilities. There is only a lobby and restaurant. Three trips to the country have stayed in Cappadocia for about 20 days. Cappadocia is composed of many towns besides Nevsehir and Kayseri. The town of Goreme is in China. Most famous but compared to Goreme's over-commercialization, I prefer this town to Otahesa orthahisar. This is a small town free traveler who also chooses less here but perhaps officially retains more of the country's cultural hotel. 3 minutes walk from the town center supermarket cafe attractions museum, even if you want to go to Goreme restaurant, there is a minibus 6 lira can take a taxi 30 lira hotel is very comfortable and style is more characteristic than other cave hotels, the cave hotel is most afraid There is no elevator and this hotel is one of the few breakfasts provided. The hotel was not built on the cave, its “cave looking” hotel. The atmosphere was rustic and charming, the view from the terrace was beautiful. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the internet was fast. The breakfast was amazing, freshly made for us each day and their cats were super cute! In terms of our room: the bed was big and comfy; the room was warm with a good heating system. It was charmingly designed with a cave-hole-sofa area and a shower area that looked like they had been carved out of the wall. But it wasn’t always practical - for instance it is an open-plan design so the toilet is part of the main living area with no door to separate it. One of us had to go out the room when we needed a toilet. Luckily there was a communal toilet in the communal area but it was cold! Downsides: 1. The village of Ortahisar is quite remote and a little limited for restaurants 2. Like many buildings in the area the hotel have a fire and chimney. Although the chimney was high and in the courtyard area, some of the smoke smelled toxic and we didn’t feel comfortable. 3. The drain in the shower seemed to be blocked and took ages to empty, the shower water wasn’t always super hot, one of the shower fixings was broken. It was a lovely hotel but the open plan bathroom made my stay difficult.

One of the rare gems of anatolia. Hezen Cave hotel is in a quite and calm place, on the cheek of the valley seeing over ridge and on the fight side. Here you can see the sunset as the gentle breeze cools you down after a long and hot day in July. The hotel staff is friendly and can help you with places to go and activities not to miss while you’re here. We have one of the Suites (room 15 which consists of two rooms and one hamam-style shower and separate toilet and vanity.

We spent two very nice days. Their workers are very interested and laughed. Absolutely recommended. Their rooms were very clean. They also helped on the routes we would go through. We thank you very much for helping a couple of interesting and nice conversations. The Jacuzzi room was very good but we'll come back for the pool room :)

My husband and I along with our friends stayed at the Acer Cave Hotel for two nights. It is a lovely hotel in a quiet area. Our room was wonderful although I could have done without the party tub in the room. The bathroom was nice and had a tub and great walk-in shower. The only reason I couldn’t give the hotel a 5-star review is because the heat system didn’t work very well. Our room was suffocatingly hot when we walked in. Once we figured out that we could just turn the heat off and open a window we were able to manage. The bed was very comfortable but there were only two pillows.. Having extras is always nice. I will say the staff Brough them when I asked for them the 2nd day and they made all the difference. They serve a good breakfast in the mornings and we had a great lunch on the patio outside and enjoyed the gorgeous weather and spectacular views. The front desk staff were kind and polite. The hotel decor is very unique with old radios and old TV’s and antiques in the lobby - think of grandma’s in the 1950’s but it really worked with the cave environment. Almost like being in a castle. We didn’t get out and explore around the hotel so I can’t speak to its location for shopping and restaurnts. It is however, very centrally located for exploring the many attractions of Cappadocia. I would definitely recommend a stay at the Acer Cave Hotel.
