The room is quite spacious. There is a small kitchen and a refrigerator. You can cook some simple food. The toilet and shower are separated, which is more convenient for multiple people. There is no bathtub. The location is good. It takes more than ten minutes to walk to Shinsaibashi for shopping. It is self-service and you are responsible for the room hygiene. The air conditioner is a bit old and you need to wait for a while to feel cool. It is still cost-effective for family travel.

This is my second time staying in a B&B in Japan. This B&B is very spacious and has a microwave on the second floor. The only drawback is that the bathroom has no door, only something like a curtain.

During this trip to Kyoto and Osaka, I chose Gigi House. For the first time, I had no problem communicating with the proprietress. Maybe they are all locals in Ala. They understand and agree with each other very well! So overall it’s OK to stay for 10 days 👌! Location selection is very important. The two B&Bs are located in a residential area, very quiet and safe, and convenient to nearby convenience stores🏪. It is acceptable for travelers!

I stayed here with my kids during the May Day holiday. If you need a washing machine, please make a note and contact us in advance (some rooms have it, some don't). The homestay is quiet and clean.
