Hotels near Takashimaya(Osaka Store), Osaka

I made a reservation to see the cherry blossoms in Nishinomaru, Osaka Jo castle, but I gave up cherry blossoms because I was ill. At least, I took a walk in Dotonbori in the evening, visited Hozenji Temple, and prayed for healing. The hotel is close to Nihonbashi Station and has a downtown area representing Osaka around. It is a reasonable hotel with a free light breakfast (roll bread, bread, boiled *, juice, coffee, tea, etc.), and I think it is well worth using for some people. The foreigner who checked in at the same time stayed for 7 consecutive nights. The facilities seem to be quite aging, and the vintage washlet made by Matsushita Electric Co., Ltd., which has no heater, is still active. Fantastic location! So many places to eat around the hotel. Toilet was clean and practical. Air conditioning was powerful. Free ice coffee was great! Hotel staff was friendly! I would definitely recommend to others!

Location is great, right in the middle of dotonburi. But the street it’s on is near clubs and bars so it gets a bit loud at night. Service is great and all but we requested a late checkout and they asked for $100 just for an hour… Booked a room for three and it’s just an extra bed added to a twin room so it was crazy cramped I couldn’t even open my luggage.

Sotetsu Grand Fresa Osaka Namba offered a phenomenal location along with beyond satisfactory amenities. To start, I must mention that the room was more spacious than some of the other hotels I have been to. The bathroom was clean and well furnished and I had no trouble controlling the temperature in the room or the shower. In addition, their breakfast, served buffet style, was rather satisfactory. Primarily, the buffet was split into two broad categories of ”Western” and Japanese cuisine. The Japanese side offered classics such as udon, rice, miso soup, and tofu, while the ”Western” side offered an assortment of breads, corn soup, and pancakes. I say Western with quotation marks as I would imagine most people from Europe or North America would consider the fares offered a far cry from that which they are familiar. Besides that, it is also worth noting that the buffet would cycle between multiple different options on a daily basis to prevent people staying multiple days from getting bored of consuming the same dishes daily. Other than the hotel's facilities, it is also important to draw attention to the location of the hotel. The hotel has a wide array of different restaurants to visit and is located close to both Dotonbori and the subway. This subway is rather convenient as it offers easy access to most areas of interest in Osaka. It is also imperative for me to mention here that there is a convenience store located basically next to the hotel which is, as the name would suggest, quite convenient. In addition, for those who are into anime, the hotel is walking distance fron Dendenmachi. Overall the experience was pleasant. The only issue if I had to say was that there was a high density of people in the hotels vicinity. This issue is further exacerbated on holidays, but this should only pose an issue to some people.

Room is abit dark. Good with washing machine and dryer. Location is great, family Mart and 7-11 nearby. Walking distance to metro station. Shopping mall just nearby with many food and stalls.

We arrived earlier than the check in time, and are able to drop off the luggages at the reception and come back later for check in for free. The staff can speak multiple languages, (Japanese, English, Chinese,etc) able to communicate without any problem. Room is very clean and cleaning service is provided each day. Location is close to Nanba. Very convenient. Close to a metro station as well, easy to locate. Would recommend.

Location is great, service was good and breakfast was the best. It was near the famous Glico man. It is also within walking distance to Parco and other great stores. ABC Mart, Uniqlo, Atmos are near. As to food trips, there are a lot of ramen places around. Namba Station is about 1 kilometer away, which can be easily be walked even with luggages, where you can board the Nankai Line to Kansai Airport. Yes, the airport is just a train ride away, no need to hire expensive private transfers.

I really like the service attitude and service staff of this hotel. All the staff can speak Chinese, which is very warm and convenient, giving people a feeling of being at home. It has been raining all the time in the rainy season these days. I troubled Emma and Yuna to help call a taxi and heat up the meal. They cared about whether I was wet. I was really moved to tears! ! ! Because I had no appetite, a lady named Yuki recommended delicious Chinese food and Chinese supermarkets nearby. It was great to buy some domestic emergency supplies! The location of the hotel is also very convenient. It is very close to Shinsaibashi. If you like to drink milk tea and eat barbecue, living here is simply too happy! My boyfriend and I are a bit of a clean freak. Overall, the cleaning and facilities of the room are quite clean! This is too important! ! I will continue to choose this store in Higashi Shinsaibashi when I come to Osaka in the future. ٩(˃̶͈̀௰˂̶͈́)و

This hotel is not bad and also looks new. The downside is they don’t have laundromat. However there is a l laundry shop nearby  Even though the front desk doesn’t really speak English, but they are really nice with the positive attitude unlike the Via Inn hotel near shinsaibashi I will come again next time. 

Simple no frills hotel, good if you are just looking for a hotel to have a rest after long day out. Have all the basic amenities you will need such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, foam wash, towels, toothbrush, comb, etc. You can borrow umbrella from the hotel if the day is raining. There are also washer and vending machine within the hotel. Location is walking distance away from dotonbori and the nearby subway.
