great boutique hotel! only unfortunate thing is that the breakfast only opens at 8am on weekends so we missed it due to an early flight, but they made up for it with a breakfast to-go when we checked out!

It is a renovated hotel in an old building. The rooms are not big and the facilities are quite new. It is very close to the train station. It is right next to the train station and also very close to the commercial street. The only possibility is that it is near the train station. The surrounding area of the hotel feels a bit chaotic.

We stayed at the Amerikalinjen last December. The hotel is beautifully designed and curated as well as ideally located. We appreciated the high quality amenities in our room, such as slippers, expensive bathroom products, paper pad and pen, a well stocked mini bar, a coffee machine, a kettle, etc… Like many others have noted, the hotel offers a beautiful and extensive breakfast buffet with made to order options such as eggs Benedict and omelettes. We’ll gladly come back next time we are in Oslo.

The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. We got the view that faces the square and trains, we thought it would be noisy. But the noise insulation was very good. The breakfast was amazing, we loved the variety of food.

Lovely and stylish hotel, conveniently located across from the train station. The rooms were clean, comfortable and slightly funky (in a good way). The huge breakfast buffet was excellent. Front desk staff was super helpful. We also went to a jazz performance at the small jazz club in the basement. Lots of fun!

Our favorite night in Norway. We stayed in some spectacular hotels in Noway but this one was our favorite. Parking was easy to find and there was plenty of it. It came out to be around $35 a night for self park which wasn't bad for a big city. Peter checked us in. He was very cordial and polite. He gave us a good rundown of the hotel, services and offered us a to go breakfast because we were headed to the airport early in the morning. The hotel is cute but modern. It's located perfectly to walk around the city. We had a room on the 7th floor with a balcony. The room was clean, comfortable and large. The balcony was smallish but all you needed. It was warm outside during the the day so It was nice to open at night to cool the room down. The bathroom was large and plenty of hot water. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
