Great views

Great view of the ocean , the waves makes the day and night to fullest of your happiness and comfort ,great staff loving and caring as allways upon my stay here as being a regular customer,i have known destiny the front desk staff on my previous stays here now i met with the new staff namely tina and matthew who are taking good care of us upon our stay here .please keep up with the good work you all do as i understand customer service satisfication is your motto and you all deserve 10 out of 10 for the service bless you all and thank you all again and again .hope to see you all on my next visit.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. But unfortunately, hotel has seen better days. She's a beauty from afar. But, on a closer examination, she needs a lot of work. Extreme dry rot on the building. The pool was not usable due to refurbishing. We were not told that before we booked our weekend. The patio view was fabulous, but it came with a penalty, the noise from the road was super loud. Sorry, we would not recommend the hotel due to these drawbacks.

I wish I would have done more research and read a few more reviews on this hotel before booking! I'm not sure what nicoll k is used to on prices but my room was $350 out the door and even for the Coast this is not cheap! A agree 100% with other reviews that the building desperately needs significant repairs and maintenance. The elevator was out still of order when I stayed there on July 12 which is unacceptable in today's world. There is significant wear and tear on the building inside and out but it was inside that concerned me, see photos. The building is old and probably constructed in the 1970s and judging from the decor most of it has been there since the 70's. One of the biggest issue I had was I called the front desk and asked "where is the ice machine"? and the clerk said "WE DON'T HAVE ONE"!!!! WHAT?? In my 60+ years on this earth I have NEVER stayed in a hotel (let alone a $350 hotel) that did not have an ice machine!? I found this unbelievable! The wall mounted hair dryer did not work but the front desk brought another, the coffee maker was a $5 Walmart version which fit with everything else, half of the outlets did not work. No breakfast whatsoever!! No banana, no apples, no donuts or even a cheap packaged danish!! The view is great but if you open the sliding door you feel like you're sitting in the middle of a freeway, you can't even hear the waves over the noise of the constant traffic on HWY 1......Enough said, save your money and stay somewhere else!

The room was very clean, the property was clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, the hotel was peaceful. It’s directly across the street from San Pedro beach, and walking distance to Safeway and coffee shops. This was my first visit to the hotel and certainly not my last.

The view was fantastic and the tub felt great. We had an ocean view and we took full advantage of it. This place isn't fancy, but it is clean and the customer service is top rate. My husband and I can't wait to go back. Oh and the bed was comfy too! My husband and I highly recommend this place.

Amazing service and staff is friendly , room was clean and pretty good view of the ocean. Would stay there again . Only thing I would suggest is the sliding doors in then room need to fixed . A little hard open, and get stuck while trying to slide open

Great view

Pacifica beach hotel is in a beautiful area but unfortunately when we were there, we almost had to leave in the middle of the mnight because there were non stop fire alarms going in all of the rooms with flashing lights and blaring alarms until 3am. The hotel also seemed to be in quite a bit of construction which we didn't know (like that they didn't have a working elevator).
