Well Parc Hotel

Great little ‘honest’ pub, really entertaining and friendly welcome and service from Wayne and his team. Food was simply excellent and well priced. No frills or pretentions about the pub, but that’s part of the charm. If you want good food, drink and a welcoming fun visit you’ll not go far wrong.

This pub had a lovely family feel, there was a very friendly atmosphere, we were made to feel welcome amongst the locals, they also served great food too, pizzas the first visit (can recommend the vege Mother Ivy) and burgers on the second visit.

Lovely little place, the location IS awesome, the owners made us feel so welcome and the bar and food were excellent. A great nights sleep and a very good Breakfast. OK it's not 5* but it doesn't claim to be, it is just a family run business that offers great food, comfortable beds and a wonderful welcome, we arrived as guests and feel that we left a friends.

A lovely relaxed small hotel, off the beaten track. I went with my 92 year old Mum, and the staff couldn't have done more to help. Jodie and Lee (I think) were very kind and helpful, as was everyone, and Wayne was the star of the show. The children and pets also provided some entertainment. Being the village's local, there is a pool table, impromtu music practices, and a weekly quiz. The food was very good, and the Cornish Best beer and Proper Job are lovely drinks. The fruit platter was a great addition for breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great value for money.

We went quizzing with our Sausage Dog Roko and what a charming place with a truly authentic, friendly atmosphere. Lovely food too! Just so welcoming and unpretentious - a hidden treasure in this part of Cornwall.

My husband and I spent this bank holiday weekend here arriving on the Friday and left a day early on Sunday. Good points: The fabulous location is walking distance to Trevone beach where there is a lovely cafe and shop. The family who own/run the hotel are very friendly and welcoming and make you feel comfortable. We had pizzas for dinner Saturday evening that were amazing. Bad points: The bedroom looked nothing like the photos on their website. Our room had a double and single bed and the shower in the room with a sink and mirror next to the wardrobe. We didn’t shower as it was quite small and not private. The small toilet room with no basin was difficult to enter as you had to slide yourself around the toilet in order to close the door. A large person would struggle to get in. There was a fan turned on with the light switch but no fan in the toilet to remove smells. The room decor is very dated as is the whole hotel. There is damp on the ceiling of the hallway. The doors to the kitchen and rooms were filthy and floors not washed in the bar area where I saw pizza sauce there last night, still there this morning. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this hotel until it has been refurbished to bring it up to date.

Tired and disappointing hotel. Poor service throughout, breakfast not great. God awful ukulele practice last night like the hotel is the local village hall?! If you must stay, bring your own ear plugs, blankets, disinfectant, and toilet seat.

Not stayed in hotel but have been coming here for years and the owners and staff are very accommodating for our large family group ( up to 25 at times) We have always had good meals here - food is reasonably priced and there is a decent choice of menu - and the pizzas are excellent.

We have had 3 lovely meals, all of which are for a group of 26. The bill was arranged into family tabs and the staff were amazing. The food was always on point, full of flavour and the plates were full! The range of beers and spirits is perfect! Well Parc is always a pub that we will visit and they always make us feel welcome.
