My partner is in the jubilee and to save the travelling back and forward I’ve had a few overnights at the conference hotel. The staff are lovely and friendly. The restaurant staff are fab and greet and serve with a lovely smile on their face. Food is amazing too and very reasonable price for what you get. Will no doubt be back for more overnights in the future while my partner is in hospital.

Bought a suite for our ten year anniversary with view of the golf course which we didn’t get we got put on ground floor with view of mud false advertising I advise anyone going to make sure you are getting a nice view and not room 22 only offered a drink from the bar

Parklands Hotel & Country Club is a hidden gem. From the moment we stepped into the hotel it was well decorated, given a wedding vibe to us. The wedding area for ceremonies and evening reception gaves you an insight of how the big day would work. It's very well structured and thought out so it flows well and no cross over with guests staying in the hotel. The surrounding area has loads of space for wedding photos/videos such as a close by woods, open grass area and the baloney at the top of the hotel for those stunning photo opportunities. Jennifer (events manager) is an unbelievable coordinator when it comes to weddings. We met up with her 3/4 times throughout the year to makes sure everything was on track and if anything needed done or changed. On the day she made my wife and I feel so relaxed, making sure we just enjoyed the day with friends and family. If there was any issues on the day I wasn't aware due to Jennifer dealing with everything. Staff all day couldn't do enough for us. They looked after all guests and if we needed anything extra they would make sure to get it. We even had a visit from the owner of Parklands which I found it very humbling and appreciated to take time out to see us. The food was delicious, not just on the day but we visited the restaurant a couple of times before the wedding. I'd recommend to go in for dinner to see how good the steak pie is. We visited wedding venues ranging from Greenock to East Kilbride and Parklands came on top. The value for money for a full wedding (90 people for us) is amazing. This is from them organising, planning, the look, great food, professional staff and a stressless experience for my wife and I. I'd recommend to go in for a look and chat, thats all it took for us to know it was the place for us. Thank you Parklands for making our wedding day so unforgettable. Mr & Mrs Grassie

We had a great time at this hotel. Nice meet up with friends, rooms were very comfortable. Very close to shopping centre. Highlights were lovely food done by Liz & Grant. The weather was not great, but everything else made up for it Definately return

OOdyssey02860946819We booked this as we knew our flight home to Glasgow Airport was landing late and we could not face the long drive home at such a time. By the time we cleared with our bags and walked to the hotel from the terminal it was 2am when we checked in. Unfortunately we were given room 115, which was opposite the elevators on the first floor. It was also not only an accessible room with wet bathroom (no shower unless you wanted to flood the whole room) but also had a ”connecting” door to the next room. No idea who was on the either side, but not ideal for either of us given our late arrival. I was feeling extremely tired and and went straight to my bed - unfortunately it was far too soft and it was a double, so we tended to fall into the middle where the ”hole” or ”dip” in the mattress was. With us both trying to sleep on the outside of the mattress for comfort we continually pulled the small duvet from each other in an attempt to keep warm after our return from Africa. The pillows were also too soft for my liking, however that was minor compared to the mattress. There hours later, at around 5am the corridor started coming alive with excited children heading off on their holidays, running and squealing, literally!! I can't blame them for being enthusiastic, but perhaps their parents might have understood that some guests might still wish to sleep at that time? Thus our morning continued so when we finally dragged ourselves up for breakfast around 9am I was extremely tired and somewhat grumpy... Now to breakfast; a fairly good selection was on offer if you came at a quiet time. I saw some guests leave towards the end our meal time as they did not want to wait in the queue for what was left. My main gripe about the breakfast was again, not the hotel's fault, but the guests, who presumably are not used to staying in hotels and don't know what swerving utensils are for. I saw one female guest pick up and touch several slices of bread and returning them before picking what she put in the toaster machine. I purposely picked a slice she hadn't pawed and waited whilst it went through the machine, then just as it arrived a young man (her son I believe) whisked it away in front of me. Manners non existent. The breakfast staff were helpful and friendly and the food on offer was perfectly adequate if all the guests knew how to behave. All in all, we picked this hotel for a catch up sleep after a late flight in and we didn't achieve that so we will not be back.

GGuest UserWe were surprised to be given a free upgrade on arrival which was a great start to our holiday. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. Amazing water pressure in the shower - it felt like I was under a waterfall! :) We decided to have our dinner at the hotel which was lovely. Check-out the next morning was super quick and with just a short walk across the road to the airport you could not get a better location.

GGuest Userwe have just returned from a one night stay travelled with caledonian travel.first impressions nice clean hotel.room very nice and spacious then it goes down hill put the tv on not programmed so we rang reception they said we will speak to a colleague and get back to us we are still waiting for that phone call reception never answered the telephone.it took half hour to re programme our own tv.we were told by our driver that it was very busy and we must stick to our meal times we were given 8pm we arrived it looked chaotic the greek supervisor asked us to wait ten minutes after 55 minutes we demanded to be seated at 9.20 we were given luke warm soup staff not acknowledging you we had to go to bar to ask for our food 9.40 we got a chicken dinner we didnt wait around for dessert the supervisor said he clocks in and out and the higher management had given away our dinner time this does not help us.breakfast was better as liz the server was in much more control would i return no never they shouldnt overload the hotel like they did because you just walk with your feet and use other hotel brands were customer service is a must.this hotel is not suitable for coach parties as it couldnt cope with more than one coach.

Although I agree with energy saving, a small room with a window that does not open and the air conditioning that does not cool off at the desired temperature is not acceptable (a completely ineffective gradation is set). That the room was small was already evident from the booking, but the information on the restriction of opening the window for safety (a few cm) was completely hidden. Not exactly in the city center.
