Long Beach Resort by Southern Vacation Rentals

condo 1001-2 was large , but had mutiple problems, the main door was off track, the door to master bedroom would not open no matter what we tried, it was like it was welded shut, tv in 3rd bedroom would not work, worst of all the washing machine smelled like rotten fish or sewage. i called emerald coast destinations where i rented from and was told every day someone would come out. NOBODY ever came out. My husband managed to get main sliding door on track. i went to wal mart and bought borax to run through washer. we only washed their towels with borax and detergent that made it bearable as we needed towels. we would not wash our clothes , afraid that smell would ruin them. Had to rinse bathing suits in sink. callled every single day and no one ever came. We arrived on September 14 , i called every day. , i feel like for $2300 what i paid i was owed some money back after going with only half clean bathing suits and not being able to wash clothes. ECDI was contacted once again after i got home, but no response. I have stayed at the resort before with no issues, but i would not rent from ECDI again. This condo needed repairs and they should have fixed, and if not refunded some money. This one condo was bad, never again. The main hottub also only had one jet working, the others ones were no better.

The condo itself was beautiful, clean, and well stocked. We have stayed at Long Beach many times and love the balcony. The reason for the 3 stars though is that last time we went 2 years ago and also just recently, the water in the pools is ICE Cold. One of the things we always look forward to is the pools so this has been very disappointing! We made ourselves get in once while just there, but was hard to enjoy! PLEASE fix this! Others were complaining as well…

Nice clean resort with big living space in the condo. Pool and hot tubs clean and heated. Beautiful beach and the view was amazing. Best sunsets! Gated grounds and parking in a great location. The only disappointment was there wasn’t a fitness centre but we just had a brisk walk in the morning along the beach to make up for it. Would come back again!

Just returned from a week long visit from Long Beach Resort PCB. Stayed in Tower II Unit 305. This unit needs many updates and repairs. To start off, the furniture in the living room/kitchen was just basic. The glass coffee table's glass overlay was cut too small. The sofa and chair had noticeable stains, even on the throw pillows. There was a hole in the wall behind the bedroom door. There was some kind of black substance all over the ceiling in the bedroom. The dresser drawers in the BR was sagging so bad you couldn't open the drawers. Moving to the bathroom, the toilet was rocking and low like it belonged in a dollhouse. The towel holder on the Bathroom wall was not stable enough to hold a towel. I was afraid it was gonna fall off the wall. The toilet paper holder was barely hanging on as well. There was an odor in the bathroom toward the end of the week. It seemed to be coming up from the tub drain. The tub was extremely high to step into. Although on the plus side the shower water pressure was the highlight of the trip. The comfort of the bed was maybe a 6 out of 10. My husband and I have stayed at Long Beach on many occasions, and we were even there this past April, but we stayed in Tower 1. This was by far the worst visit yet. Maybe we will try somewhere else for our next trip. We were very disappointed this trip.

The people they have running the beach chairs ruined the vacation by giving away chairs after they were reserved and creating conflict with the guests. Got there early and reserved chairs only to be told half of them had ben reassigned because the guy sitting in our seats refused to move to the seat they had assigned him. Condo was what we expected, decent value for the money.

The location is very convenient for everything: shopping, grocery store, and restaurants. The views are amazing from the balconies. We stayed in 2 different condos and both were a little outdated. The pool area is great, my daughter enjoyed it the most.

Our condo was very nice .. there was only one elevator for most of our stay it wasn’t terrible but was annoying from time to time. The views are great each condo has big windows. The pool area could use a makeover .. old chairs and run down. The place was clean but it looked rough. Beach access was great!

We have loved this resort in the past but this time the condo is a joke. This place has moldy shower curtains, rusted out exterior doors. The master door is separating and won’t close for any privacy. There were spiders here the first day on the shower. There is a light fixture hanging down in side a shower. The master shower is either blistering hot or ice cold. There is no in between. All these things have been reported and nothing has been fixed except one other door that was falling off the wall. This is a 1 star condo parading and priced as a 4 star condo. Bldg 2 rm 301z stay far away from. And if the Long Beach people don’t do anything I have lost all faith in them as well. I forgot about the dirty towels and dirty dishes when we arrived.

Room 1105 in tower 2 is an absolute joke. Stayed there for a week, the doors to the patio barely worked a guy came and looked at it and said just deal with it, sprayed wd-40 on it and left. No extra anything hing in the room, had to supply our own toilet paper, trash bags and dish soap. The spare bed was a fold out futon that I wouldn't even let my dogs sleep on and it came with 1 pillow and a sheet that looked like it had urine stains on it. The tvs only had 3 channels if you were lucky. Almost $2,000 for 6 nights and I think I would of rather pitched a tent in the alley down the road. And if more that 1 person planned on taking a shower you gotta wait an hour between showers, the water got cold about 3 minutes into your shower.
