Vikrama Sarovar Portico Pavagadh

Excellent property with beautiful location but service was average. I was there with my family. Check in process was smooth. Front desk was helpful but not active. He didn’t provide us basic information like wifi password and breakfast timing etc. We went for lunch around 2pm and we ordered subji and tawa roti, when we asked for some more tawa rotis the waiter denied and told us that chef denied to make tawa roti, when i asked for manager then they serve tawa roti. One more incident happed when i went to take a shower, both shampoo and shower gel bottles were empty, i don’t hv choice hence i just take shower and went to reception to fill this bottles, after some time a housekeeping boy came and he told that he will check first and then sent some body later, meanwhile we need to check out and then the lady come with can of shampoo, obviously we denied and we checked out. I don’t want to give negative review but i am sharing this feedback here so that they can improve their services. I will definitely visit this property as the property location and room was clean.

The property is very beautiful and the rooms are spacious. The horse riding and swimming pool were totally worth it.

We paid around 8000 rupees for a night and we went for 2 days. They continuously played music around the main area. It was not even soothing we found it a nuisance. How can a person relax with continuous music going on. When we complained they said they can just reduce the volume but can't stop it but when we entered the campus earlier there was no music! so they can stop it. Electricity went out thrice. Wifi stops working anytime in the day or night. Flies and insects are unlimited, i could have asked for the refund just cos of the flies as it bit mitt me so much my whole back was swollen. Atleast could have installed blue lights everywhere instead of the music. The window seal was broken and the window is so big that even a *** can enter at night so safety concerns are huge. Positive feedback : the restaurant staff is polite and helpful. And the boy (thin and looks like nepali) does the most of the hardwork around the area, he has no help and is a very hardworking person. Overall, lots of improvements are required in the resort. Personally, i would never come here again.

The portico is located near pavagadh, with a scenic view of the mountain. The place is serene. It has excellent facilities including a swimming pool, a restaurant, a gym, a horse riding facility, and a play zone. It is a compact place, not too big, not too small, with friendly and cost vibes. The rooms are clean and well maintained, with excellent bathroom and shower facilities. It has a bit of european touch. The restaurant serves good quality food and is an elegant place in itself. The hotel staff is friendly and cooperative. The stay was so good that within a day we had felt fresh and rejuvenated. We are really surprised to find such a good place near pavagadh. This is a perfect place for a short stay.

My 5 days of stay with my family was an excellent experience at this resort, beautiful ambience neat and clean surroundings ***** with the best food and hospitality from the staff of the restaurant is worth a memory. I would definitely recommend anyone and everyone to visit this resort once for sure for luxury and peace of stay
