24/24 reception hotel right opposite the station entrance. We had a 9.15am train and so chose the hotel for its price and location. Room was well appointed and recently refurbished with a small but well equipped bathroom ( including. An excellent shower ). Staff were welcoming and there was a tiny but functional lift. Our room had a view over the Montparnasse tower . Aircon was included and worked fine. Bed was very comfortable and there were a lot of places within easy walking distance for breakfast . All in all I couldn’t fault the place at all and the price was quite fair for the standard of the hotel.

Contrairement à ce que les photos publiées par l’établissement laissent penser, le bâtiment est ancien et limite vétuste. On n’est pas du tout dans un hôtel moderne ! Certes les chambres et salles de bain ont été rénovées, mais il y a de la moisissure dans les coins, et surtout il n’y a aucune, mais alors aucune, isolation phonique… On entend tout ! La douche et la chasse d’eau du voisin, les éclats de voix dans la rue en bas (au 5ème étage malgré des soi disant doubles vitrages…) et évidemment la circulation incessante et bruyante de ce quartier. Même avec les boules Quies ce n’est pas suffisant… Rédhibitoire pour moi.
