Studio with Balcony at Paris Latin

I rarely take the initiative to write reviews, mainly out of laziness, but I have to write this one. This is definitely the most considerate and comfortable foreign accommodation I have ever stayed in, and the experience is even better than five stars. First of all, the boss is Chinese and very sincere. He waited for us very early. There are many snacks, milk, cola, chocolate, etc. that are needed for late arrivals in the room. Even the shower gel is very good and brand new, very generous. Then we can wash the clothes. I finally washed my pajamas for traveling in the UK. You can see how attentive the boss is by looking at the various things he prepared for washing clothes. There is a radiator to dry the clothes very quickly. In addition, the location of the hotel is very good. You can walk to the subway station, eat at Michelin, go to Notre Dame Cathedral, walk along the Seine River, and it is also very convenient to go to the airport. The most important thing is that in Paris, where security is not very good, the 5th arrondissement is one of the safest areas. This B&B has several access controls. I have never even used the safe, but it is very safe. It is highly recommended for Chinese tourists to stay here! ! !

Amazing hotel and staff with great attention to detail. Baptiste at the front desk was so helpful, Svetlana at the concierge desk, and Christophe and his whole team down at breakfast. Room was extremely clean and comfortable (the pillow menu especially) and the balmain body products were luxurious.

I didn't expect it to be this good . This is a five star one bedroom apartment in the heart of paris. Everything is brand new and stylish . The bed is comfy , the linens are soft and the pillows smell nice. The kitchen appliances are high quality. Toaster, water heater nespresso coffee machine , stove and microwave. Dishwasher too. Of course theirs a fridge with a mini bar. Stylish black utensils. Glassware The bathroom has both a bathtub and shower. Lots of storage places . Steam iron and board. The slippers are soft and comfy . Beautiful large Parisian windows . Mine were over looking the garden. Stylish clean furniture The lighting is sophisticated and their placement and colors are high tech. The kitchen appliances were exceptional . The apartment is very well ventilated not stuffy at all. Plus the AC works so well 10/10. You have a complementary breakfast from 6-10 and a common area . And a beautiful garden in the courtyard . Plus a gym. Almost forgot they have a washer and dryer. My mother is very picky and she liked it very much . I'm sure whoever has a chance to come here will love it as well. The staff are welcoming and helpful . They have daily cleaning services. The check in time is one hour later than usual . Their time is 16h00 but they offer to hold your bags in storage until check in.
Holiday Inn Express Paris - Canal de La Villette

La Villette
We loved this hotel with a few minor issues. The location was great with a only a short walk from the Riquet metro station - a little off the beaten path but we likely the residential area that gave a more authentic look at Parisan life compared to the tourist areas. The views from the room of the canal were beautiful (especially with the lights for the holiday season). The area is a thriving residential area with a lot of cafes, restaurants, shops and parks nearby. There is a walking path along the canal and only a 10 min walk from a science and industry museum. Adjacent street Avenue de Flandre was HOPPING both afternoons and evenings and had some really great restaurant options. We really enjoyed Chef Sarin, a Turkish type of place with great shawarma and chicken options. The grocery store on that street is a good size one (you have to pay for the bags FYI). The hotel bar was small but had great drink options and the bartenders were very warm and friendly and gave us good advice about things to do. The towels were a bit scratchy and there were not dressers in the room. The breakfast was good but be sure to get there before 9:30am if you prefer to beat the crowd. If you like crepes, Orginals was a great stop and we went there a few times. It was right across the bridge next to a great bakery that had really good desserts and bread.
Hotel Mercure Paris Bastille Saint Antoine

We stayed here on two different occasions in October. We chose this hotel since it was close to our friend’s home in Paris. Our first stay was for one night only and we were given a room on the top floor that had a lovely outdoor balcony with places to sit and enjoy the day or evening in Paris. We really enjoyed the balcony and the room was clean, comfortable bed, and enough space. The little mini fridge had a complimentary bottle of water, a bottle of juice, a bottle of soda, and a bottle of sparkling water. Those complimentary drinks was a very thoughtful and welcomed plus! After a trip to London, we arrived back in Paris and we stayed here again for four nights. This time we were given a room on the first floor. The outside noise was noticeable. Every day in the late afternoon, there was some type of film class filming a report outside our hotel window. Early in the morning, we would hear large banging noises from some type of truck outside our windows. Our room was on the backside of the hotel so it was not along the busy street. The beds were still very comfortable and the room was very clean. We had the complimentary water, juice, and soda in the mini fridge. Each day, they would tidy up our room and usually they would refill the mini fridge with complementary drinks. This was very nice and definitely a plus. We did not care for them leaving our windows open each day and the window did not lock. The neighborhood was absolutely wonderful! There are many fantastic restaurants nearby (Mokonuts and L’ aubergeade are two we highly recommend), a wonderful farmers market that seems to be open daily with fresh produce, and nice boutique shops nearby. We loved exploring the area! We found a wonderful little pastry shop that we visited every morning and they made the best cafe eclairs and almond crescents. It was a little shop with a small park across the street called Blè sucrè. This hotel was also close to several metro stops which made getting around Paris easy. We would definitely stay in this neighborhood again and we would stay at this hotel on the top floor again. The reason it is rated four instead of five is because the first floor was noisy and the window did not lock.

Rooms were snug but nice; we didn’t spend any time in our room except to sleep so this worked well for us. Great facilities including nespresso machine, mini fridge and microwave + tv. Shower was luxurious and had great pressure. Cleaned the room and gave fresh towels each day. Staff are kind, offered us restaurants to try etc. Can request breakfast to be delivered to your room at a time that suits you but we didn’t do this and went out instead. Location felt very safe. Didn’t really enjoy the buzzing in and having to ask for keys each time you arrive and leave but that’s all and would be my only improvement!
