"Recommended by Doubao and booked via Trip.com. It's very convenient to get around; you can see the Eiffel Tower right outside, and it's less than a 10-minute walk to the Seine River. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. The front desk service was good, and the room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was extensive and delicious. Located in the heart of Issy-les-Moulineaux, Best Western Paris Porte de Versailles enjoys a prime location near Mairie d'Issy metro station (line 12), 8 minutes by car from Porte de Versailles, and 25 minutes from Orly Airport. The hotel features 35 modern rooms equipped with TVs, high-speed Internet, and amenities tailored for business travelers and families. A buffet breakfast is served daily, and the staff is available for restaurant recommendations or reservations. Designed for professionals, the hotel provides business services and Internet access throughout. The nearby metro station offers quick access to central Paris.

"This hotel is located in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, which has a nice local vibe. There are two supermarkets right outside, making it very convenient for shopping. It also feels quite safe, and the metro station is very close – it's right at the last stop of Metro Line 12. This means you're not too far from anywhere; most popular attractions are reachable within 30 minutes. The room was cleaned daily and very thoroughly, which is a big plus. The bed was also quite comfortable. However, it's an economy hotel, so there are no slippers or toiletries provided; you'll need to bring your own. One point that isn't really a flaw of the room itself, since the size is clearly stated, but it's something to consider: the room is incredibly small. Even after mentally preparing for it, you'll likely still find it tiny upon arrival. Essentially, you can't do much in the room besides sleeping. The soundproofing isn't great. You can hear cleaning staff in neighboring rooms in the early morning, but it's not noisy at night, so it's generally quiet. Overall, if the price is right, it's a perfectly acceptable place to stay. It's a simple, straightforward hotel for travelers, and you won't have any complaints about the facilities or cleanliness. However, it's not worth staying if the price is significantly inflated."

"The front desk staff were very friendly and spoke English fluently. The only thing is you have to hand in your room key every time you leave (the front desk said it's for safety). I saw a review on Trip.com about someone losing valuables, so I kept my passport and other important items with me at all times and locked both my suitcase and carry-on. Luckily, I didn't lose anything. Even with the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on, they still cleaned the room daily, and it was always spotless when I returned. It was very quiet at night, couldn't hear any other sounds, and no one disturbed me in the morning, which was very comfortable."

"I enjoyed our stay and can’t really complain however the night staff very rude and not helpful whatsoever we were having problem with our lights in the room not turning off and we called reception for then to be told at 12am it’s not his problem and his not a technician and hung up the phone we then went downstairs to explain that we can’t sleep with the light not off and can’t be very safe as can over heat. He then was very rudely telling us that not what he’s there for an nothing he can do I said I paid to stay somewhere where I should be able to ask for help and he then laughed and had a friend on the phone who was also laughing very unprofessional he then came up to check and removed the lightbulb which was still glowing in his hand and made us feel like complete ****** !!! When I told the receptionist in the mornin about this she didn’t see interested to say the least. Customer service from both night shift and this morning shift 0/10. Other than that an alright stay"

"This trip was full of twists and turns. First, we noticed that the price for the same room type dropped two days before check-in, so we canceled and rebooked. On the day of arrival, we waited about 15 minutes at the front desk to check in. There weren't many guests, but the process was incredibly slow. When it was finally our turn, they told us the only available room was on the first floor and might have noise from renovations. We accepted it at the time. Upon entering the room, we realized something was wrong. The window wouldn't open, and there was a strong renovation smell. But we were in a hurry to go out for dinner, so we didn't deal with it then. When we returned at 10 PM, the smell was unbearable. So I decisively went to the front desk and requested a room change. The staff member reported it to the manager, who agreed to let us switch. We moved to the seventh floor, and sure enough, there was no smell at all. After a night's sleep, there were more issues in the morning. Our room door was opened twice, thankfully we had the security latch on. I spoke to the staff again, and they explained that we hadn't put a 'do not disturb' sign on the door. I was flabbergasted; isn't it standard practice not to enter a room before checkout? I couldn't be bothered to argue with her further. Finally, at checkout, because we had changed rooms, they almost thought we hadn't paid, and we had to wait for quite a while again. Aside from all this, the room facilities were decent, and the location was pretty good. You could walk to the Arc de Triomphe, and there's a delicious Asian restaurant nearby, right next to Carrefour."

"Barebones hotel for those who want to travel on a budget but don't want to stay in hostels/share a room with others. Comes with a bed, bathroom, small desk, TV and small closet. There's stuff like ~5 hangers, a hair dryers etc. but they also lack some basics like toiletries (you only have a 2-in-1 shampoo and shower gel; no toothbrush, shaving kit, etc.) and slippers. Service was adequate and 24/7 so that's a plus."

Nice to meet you! You were looking for a hotel. You just found your new Parisian address. Urban Hive Paris is the 17th arrondissement like you've never experienced it: a warm, human hive, a wine bar worth lingering in, and rooms with real personality. Whether you're here for work or just for Paris, you'll be welcomed like someone we were actually expecting : not processed like a check-in. Details matter here. So does the vibe. And if you'd planned on just one night... you might end up staying for the atmosphere. The place to bee.

"I think it's the best hotel in Paris. Wonderful area, spacious rooms, everything is new and beautiful and the price is low, I think it's temporary. The only thing is that the staff takes a long time before arrival"

Located in the heart of Paris, Hyatt Regency Paris Étoile offers panoramic views of the city and modern accommodations. The hotel features contemporary rooms, a 24-hour fitness center, a bar, dining facilities, and room service. Guests can also enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, concierge services, and dedicated spaces for meetings and events.

"This hotel is part of the Palais des Congrès de Paris complex, and it's one of the few high-rise buildings in the city. From my 8th-floor room facing south, I could see both the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. Getting to the metro is super convenient; you can walk directly through the convention center, which is a huge plus in often rainy Paris. The breakfast was incredibly rich, offering rice, omelets, stir-fried vegetables, and over five kinds of fruit, plus hazelnut chocolate. The room was quite spacious by Parisian standards. Just a heads-up, Montmartre Hill, as shown in some photos, isn't actually visible – I had to stick my phone out the window to capture it. Now, a special warning about the taxis right outside the hotel. They are dishonest, so be careful. Taxis from Charles de Gaulle Airport to central Paris have a fixed zone-based fare: 65 euros for the Left Bank and 56 euros for the Right Bank. If you order a taxi via an app or phone, there's an additional 4-euro booking fee. We took a taxi from the hotel, which is on the Right Bank. The concierge confirmed the fixed fare would be 56 euros. However, after hailing a taxi right outside, the driver tried to charge us 65 euros (the Left Bank rate) plus a 4-euro booking fee upon arrival at the airport. After a lengthy argument, and even calling the hotel, the driver finally charged 56 euros plus the 4-euro booking fee. So, even after arguing, we still ended up paying the extra booking fee. "Unfortunately, the room didn't look anything like the pictures. The room was clean-ish, but the location was great. The bathroom had a bathtub with no curtain, which resulted in a mess after every shower. For a hotel on the cheaper side thought, I have no complaints. I advise everyone to read the reviews on Google since they are more realistic than the reviews here on Trip.com. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. An odd thing I should mention is that every time I left the hotel, I had to give my key card to the reception. That would be fine for me if my identity was actually checked before giving me my card back. Every night or evening upon return, there was a different person working the reception desk, and during a 4-day trip, I was only asked once to identify myself when receiving my key card."

GBHere there everywhere
Clean hotel with basic amenities, with pretty rooms.❤️ Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, a half an hour's walk to the Eiffel tower 🗼and lots of museums🎨. There are a lot of train/metro stations nearby🚝🚉, a minute or two away. There is an overwhelm of award winning cafes ☕🥐 everywhere so you are spoilt for choice. The check-in process is very smooth, the staff friendly. The room is quiet, you cannot hear the street outside with closed windows, but you might hear your neighbours showering/coughing. Overall great stay 😊

The hotel itself is very nice, clean, and well maintained. The housekeeping staff does an excellent job each day, and the front desk team is consistently friendly and professional. Overall, the service from staff was a strong highlight of my stay. The location was decent, although getting around took a bit longer than expected—this may simply be due to the metro system rather than the hotel itself. Unfortunately, the main issue I experienced was with the air conditioning, which significantly impacted my stay. Upon arrival, the room felt quite warm, with the thermostat reading 21°C. I initially assumed this was due to the time of day, but after being out for several hours, the room remained uncomfortably hot. When I reported this to the front desk, I was told everything was functioning properly. That night, the heat made it very difficult to sleep. The next morning, I requested a fan from the manager and was assured it would be placed in my room. However, when I returned later that evening, there was no fan, and the room felt even warmer. After another visit to the front desk, they adjusted the system to 18°C. Despite this, the room temperature did not improve. Upon further review, staff discovered that while the system displayed 18°C, the actual room temperature was 27°C. They apologized and offered to move me to a different room with a twin bed for the night, which I accepted since the original room was uninhabitable due to the heat. I was told the air conditioning unit would be repaired the following day. The next morning, I confirmed with the front desk that the repair would be completed while I was out. However, when I returned in the evening, nothing had been fixed. I was then informed that the technician was not working that day, and the only option available was to move to a downgraded room. I accepted again out of necessity, but the new room was significantly smaller. Unfortunately, no compensation or refund was offered for the inconvenience or downgrade. Even after switching rooms, the issues continued, as the air conditioning repeatedly turned off and required additional trips to the front desk to resolve. In summary, this is a well-maintained hotel with excellent staff and good overall value. However, the air conditioning issues were a major drawback. If having reliable climate control is important to you—especially during warmer months—you may want to consider this before booking.

TThe hotel is exceptionally stylish and has a very nice, modern aesthetic. The design is chic and the atmosphere is welcoming. The wooden floors are a major issue for noise. We could clearly hear movement from the room above, the room next door, and even our own footsteps echoed. The sound insulation is very poor. Beautiful hotel, but would not recommend if you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noise.

The room was very well-equipped, with cooking utensils provided, and the dishwasher was a big plus; however, the air conditioning and heating systems kept turning off automatically, and the heater wouldn't turn on. After we reported this, the hotel provided breakfast for us one day because the repairs didn't take place until after check-out! Very nice! 👍🏻

I stayed for 7 days. The location is excellent, and I felt at ease knowing that English was spoken.✨ **Location:** It's within walking distance of the Arc de Triomphe and Avenue des Champs-Élysées, meaning there are tons of train and bus lines available! You can even get to the Eiffel Tower and Disneyland without any transfers. Access to Charles de Gaulle Airport is also good, taking about 50 minutes by train or 35 minutes by car. I also went to Orly Airport for one night to visit Nice. You can get to the airport line (CDG, ORLY) with just one transfer, so the location is truly fantastic. **Amenities:** Water and potato chips were provided daily. Tea and a kettle were also available, which was a nice touch. There are no toothbrushes, pajamas, or slippers. I brought my own slippers to use in the room. I never quite figured out why some days there were no chips or water (lol). **Cleanliness:** Bed making was done meticulously every day. It seems towels are only replaced if left on the floor; they weren't replaced on days I left them on the shelf.

We booked 3 rooms here at Lyf Paris Gambetta. It was amazing. The location is the best, there are two metro stations within an 8 minute walk. My whole family enjoyed it so much, there are many shops nearby so getting food is very easy. The hotel itself had many amenities, including gym and sauna, as well as a beautiful courtyard that you could eat your own food at. The Eiffel Tower was only 30-40 minutes away via metro. The staff were exceptional and kind, they helped us with all our needs. A special thanks to Darien and Rubel, who were very hospitable and kind to us during our stay. Definitely will stay at this hotel if I come back to Paris.

The cleanliness was passable – at least I didn't get bitten by bugs, but the bugs in the elevator lobby were a different story... The environment was decent. Many European tour groups stay here. The hotel is right next to the subway, and our room was on the side closer to the park, so it was very quiet. One time, we left the room with the key card in to keep the power on, but when we came back after grabbing a bite, the key card was gone. I went to the front desk to ask about it. I told them it's fine if they remove it, but they should leave it on the counter. Otherwise, what if they accuse me of missing a card, or what if they use a key card to enter my room whenever they want? A middle-aged woman, who seemed like a local French person, was incredibly arrogant. She didn't even look at me properly and simply replied, 'We just took it out.' The bathtub drain was clogged, so I had to pull out the stopper every day.

The hotel's location is excellent: close to the metro, McDonald's, and a grocery store are very close, and all the city center attractions are within walking distance. The staff is helpful and polite. The hotel is in good condition, with a working elevator and plenty of TV channels. The room is small, like all Paris hotels. The most important thing in winter is that the hotel is very warm! The bathroom had a window :) Cons: - No kettle in the room - Safe doesn't work - Very small shower stall (barely fits a 90+ kg person)

AMAKA SPARKLE
Very horrible hotel for black female travellers. I stayed at the Originals with my friend for 3 nights, then another 2 nights. We pre-booked and paid for the 3 nights in FULL before arrival. Upon arrival, we were charged a deposit of €150 Euros which was explained to be a security deposit to be returned after checkout.I had no issues with that and focused on exploring Paris. There was a day my room wasn’t cleaned and I complained to a mixed lady at the hotel reception politely to inform the cleaner and she condescendingly looked at me and blurted “I’m not the cleaner”. I never asked her to be one, I only informed her so she can tell the cleaners to make a stop at my room and refill the shower gel, replace soap and toilet paper. The day I checked out, I missed my flight due to the Paris traffic and had to reschedule my flight to the next available date which was in 48 hours which meant I needs to stay in Paris for another 2 nights. I headed back to the hotel. I don’t know why but our cards refused to work despite being funded. We had some Euros cash left in cash and paid for one extra night. The next day, we asked to extend but our cards wouldn’t work. We informed them that we needed to get some sleep but would try an ATM or go to a BDC to change some Dollars. In between, the cleaner came to the room and yanked off our key card cutting off the light supply, we were barraged with calls from the reception threatening that security was going to escort us out of the room. It’s wild because most of their staff is black and yet they treated us like ****. We saw how white guests were treated and black guests and the difference was clear. Maybe they had an assumption and became discriminatory towards us. Note that 4 nights out of 5 was already paid in FULL and they had a security deposit of over 200 Euros with them. We had to abandon everything and rush to an ATM to withdraw more cash💰 to pay for the final day. Let’s not get into the fact that one of their staff ******* almost tried to be ****** with me. I got into the elevator to go and get water at the restaurant on the 8th floor, he kept looking at my boobs and made suggestive comments about wanting to spend the night with me. He also insisted on a hug. I cried from the experience of that hotel and very horrified. As a travel content creator, I will document my experience with videos when I’m back home and share YouTube videos. If you’re a Nigerian or black woman, please avoid THE ORIGINALS. I was excited to be here but it turned into a nightmare. As a business owner myself and CEO of 3 thriving companies, I saw some many lapses in their customer service. The entire place needs a staff overhaul.
