GGuest UserThis time I brought my elders to Changsha for a trip. When we checked in, a staff member helped us with our luggage and brought it to our room. The room was clean and tidy, with plenty of hot water and a mini-fridge. The hotel is located at a crossroads, making it convenient to get around. Both check-in and check-out were quick, and the front desk staff were very welcoming, making us feel right at home. We visited Orange Isle, Yuelu Academy, and Chairman Mao's former residence in Changsha. We'll definitely stay here again next time we come to Changsha.

AAnonymous UserTucked away in a lively area, I absolutely loved it. The photo ops were amazing, and the service attitude was excellent. We arrived in Changsha on a red-eye flight, and when we reached the hotel, the lady at the front desk responded quickly to our WeChat message and even ran out to greet us. The staff at the entrance and in the restaurant were incredibly warm and welcoming. The hotel manager was especially attentive and thoughtful, making us feel right at home during our trip. Since we were traveling with two children, the dining hours here were very flexible, and no matter when we went, we could always find fruit in the restaurant, plus there was afternoon tea – it was fantastic! We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Changsha.

LLiangzhou ShiMy stay at Changsha Xiangjiang Hotel 1968 was an exceptional experience from beginning to end. From the hotel’s location, facilities, to its outstanding service standards, everything exceeded my expectations.
What impressed me the most was the warm, thoughtful, and highly professional service. Even before check-in, the hotel created a dedicated WeChat service group to assist guests with every detail. Throughout every minute of my stay, I could truly feel the team’s meticulous attention to detail, efficiency, and genuine hospitality. This was one of the best butler-style service experiences I have ever had.
The location is another major highlight. The hotel is situated in a quiet and peaceful community area while still being within walking distance of Wuyi Square. Unlike hotels located directly beside busy main roads, this property offers a unique sense of tranquility. You can either walk through the charming side alleys or stroll along the driveway and community square to reach the bustling streets nearby.
The hotel itself is beautifully renovated and exceptionally well maintained. This garden-style property preserves the elegant charm and architectural spirit of the Republican-era buildings while seamlessly integrating modern facilities and technology. It creates an immersive atmosphere that makes every guest feel like a “time traveler” enjoying both historical aesthetics and contemporary comfort.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this stay. My sincere thanks to the entire service team for their dedication and hospitality. I truly look forward to returning in the future and bringing my family to experience this wonderful hotel together.

GGuest UserMy best friend and I came to Changsha for a trip, and we chose this guesthouse based on its aesthetic appeal – it truly exceeded our expectations.
It's located inside an alley but very close to the entrance, so there's no need to worry about safety. The location is absolutely fantastic; you can walk directly to attractions like Wuyi Square, Huangxing Walking Street, Pozi Street, and Wenheyou. It's also walkable to popular restaurants like Cuiyan Xiaochao Huangrou (Stir-fried Beef), Ben Luobo, and the famous Black Classic Stinky Tofu – incredibly convenient.
Regarding the service, the customer service via WeChat was incredibly responsive and helpful, always addressing any questions or concerns. When we checked in, they even helped us with our luggage. Every evening, there's complimentary late-night snack, and the mung bean soup is absolutely delicious. The facilities are also excellent; the washer-dryer combo was very useful.
I highly recommend this guesthouse. It excels in safety, photo-friendliness, and convenience.

ZZaochuanjianThe hotel's facade and lobby are rather unassuming and simple, but the rooms are incredibly spacious. They come with a long desk and chair, and a separate, generously sized bathroom with a large shower. The shower heats up quickly with great water pressure, and both the overhead and handheld showerheads work perfectly.
The hotel is part of the Xiangying Film City, not a standalone building. However, the windows face an inner alleyway rather than the main road, making it quite quiet. It's a bit far from Shazitang Station on Line 4, but closer to Dongtang Station on Line 3. Downstairs, there are many noodle shops, making dining convenient, and food delivery robots can bring your orders right to your room.
The restaurant is very attractive with excellent natural light and a long communal table. You can get freshly cooked noodles there, and they taste great.
Overall, considering its proximity to Huangxing Square (just three subway stops away) and the incredibly affordable price of just over 200 yuan per night, this hotel offers excellent value for money.

GGuest UserGetting to Orange Isle is super convenient; you can either walk across Xiangjiang Bridge or take the subway just one stop. It's also only about 3 stops to downtown areas like Wuyi Square.
Environment: The surrounding area is a bit so-so, with a few construction sites, but it's very quiet.
Service and hygiene were both excellent, making me feel right at home.

It was so clean and comfortable that I didn't even want to leave the room. The thoughtfulness was top-notch. Next time I'm in town, I'm definitely booking this place again!
The room facilities were sparkling new, hygiene was perfect, and the service was gentle and unobtrusive.
It was more comfortable than my own home; I already didn't want to check out.
The hardware is excellent, service is on point, and the attention to detail is superb.

The moment I opened the door, I was absolutely stunned – is this what a riverside view from the 53rd floor looks like? The 180-degree floor-to-ceiling windows framed the Xiang River and the city skyline like a painting. Even on a rainy day, the misty river view outside felt like a movie filter. And I could see it all from my bed! Waking up and opening the curtains to the Xiang River right there was just incredible! (Got me hyped again!)
The room details were meticulously thought out. The Italian minimalist decor paired with the warm-light fireplace really elevated the whole feel! I really have to praise the pillows – they perfectly cradled my head. As someone who usually has trouble falling asleep, I even drifted off while watching a movie. The bathrobes and disposable slippers weren't cheap quality either; in fact, they thoughtfully provided two pairs of slippers.
The hotel's public areas were also a huge plus, perfect for photos. There's a self-service laundry room and a gym. The breakfast also exceeded expectations – noodles, wontons, stir-fries, desserts, and fruits were all well-stocked. I had two bowls of the freshly made Changsha rice noodles!
(P.S. Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM)
The location is also very convenient, not far from Wuyi Square, and the subway station is about a minute's walk away. After a tiring day of exploring, coming back to the hotel and having a quiet river view is truly therapeutic!!!
There's also a 24-hour selfie studio on the first floor (Pic 13).
If you're visiting Changsha, you really can't go wrong with this place – just book it!

GGuest UserThe owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room rates are very reasonable, and the place is clean. They even offer airport drop-off service, which is a huge convenience! On my previous visit, my flight was significantly delayed, and I couldn't confirm my exact arrival time. Yet, the owner kindly waited up for me until 3 AM! This is my second stay here, and I'll definitely be back!
