Kunshan Hotels with Free Parking.

I don’t think I could ever give this hotel enough praise. The rooms were beautiful as was the location and scenery. Cleanliness was a 10 out of 10, but what especially amazed me was how friendly and diligent the staff were. They were so kind, offering me free fruit and other snacks. One staff member gave me restaurant recommendations. I plan on staying here again in the future and would recommend it to any solo travelers or couples looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway. 

A very nice stay. The host is very helpful. The room is as nice as the photo provided. Location is perfect, with the attraction entry gate a few steps away only. The view out from the window is perfect. Everything is just nice.

Had a really enjoyable stay at Mulan Huayue Hotel during our visit to Zhouzhuang Ancient Town. The service was exceptional from start to finis. When we arrived, the staff came to pick us up from the admission gate and helped carry our luggage to the hotel, which was especially helpful since the old town streets can be a bit tricky with bags. We arrived before check-in time, and since the rooms were ready, the owner let us look at the available rooms and choose the one we preferred based on the view. It was a small gesture, but it made us feel very welcome. The location is also excellent. Since the hotel is located inside the ancient town itself, we could simply step outside and start exploring the canals, bridges, and old streets without needing any additional transport. It was especially nice to wander around early in the morning and at night when there were fewer crowds. The hotel also has two super cute cats that were always hanging around and made the place feel even more homely. We tried the hotel's restaurant and were impressed by the food. Our favorite dish was the 酸菜肉丝炒芦苇根, which was delicious and something we hadn't tried before. The food was slightly on the salty side for our taste, but overall we enjoyed everything we ordered. When it was time to head to our next hotel in Suzhou, the owner helped arrange a car for us (150 RMB). The driver was very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting information along the way, which made the journey much more enjoyable. Another thing I appreciated was how attentive the owner was. When we ran out of drinking water, she personally brought three more bottles to our room without us having to ask multiple times. Overall, this was one of those places where you can really feel the warmth and hospitality of the owner. It made our stay in Zhouzhuang much more memorable, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The room was quite clean, and the experience was good. There's a MixC shopping mall across the street, making dining very convenient. It's also not far from Kunshan Ancient Town, about a 15-minute drive. It's in the city center, so it's quite convenient.

We booked two rooms by the river, and the view was absolutely beautiful. The rooms themselves were clean and dry, which was great. The hostess was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We even received a small gift when we left! Looking forward to staying here again!

This guesthouse is really great! It has its own unique charm, the surroundings are beautiful, and it's super clean and tidy. A shuttle picked us up right at the parking lot, and it's only about a hundred meters from the scenic area entrance, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The guesthouse also has its own restaurant, and the dishes are exquisitely prepared and taste amazing. Highly, highly recommend! 👍👍👍

The owner is friendly and will come to the entrance to pick us up. The hotel location outside has a nice view during night time, The only one , our room located on the ground floor is just in the front passage walkway unexpectedly. The room looked big , and clean for us ok for the value. What you pay for what you get..

I arrived in pouring rain. I thought I could walk to my hotel but it was impossible in the downpour. I didn’t want to bother any hotel owner.   I didn’t and still don’t  have an eSIM that can make local  call but thanks to Trip.com, there is a link that I could call the owner for free.  I didn’t advise the owners my arrival time so they were off running errands.  I called the owner to pick me up and thankfully he answered. He was busy but gracious enough to turn around and picked me up. It knew Zhouhuang requires a ticket but I didn’t know that no cars, nor motorcycles, nor bicycles are allowed. Without him I would have arrived the hotel easily.  I always like to meet the owners instead of employees . They were very helpful and answered all my questions. They are honest people who dedicate their  blood and sweat to their business. The owner even offered to walk me to the bus stop  to Suzhou which was my next destination.  This  operates two hotels with 9 in one and 6 in the other. The one that I stayed in with 9 rooms is in a  lively and busy area . Just outside the hotel is a restaurant and there are plenty of places to eat. Inside the hotel is a peaceful oasis where you won’t hear any noise. The location is the best. The other hotel is in a quieter neighborhood a few minutes away. Each of the 15 rooms has it’s own personality, is different and has its distinctive decoration. The owners said they decorated them themselves. I love the decoration and especially the lighting.  After you reserve a room, be sure to contact the owner for the exact address in case you want to arrive on your own. I think it is best to request the owner to take you there because he/she will lead you to the ticket booth to buy tickets. There are a number of bridges so heavy big luggages can be a bit of a challenge .  If you arrive after 5 pm, you can enter free of charge as no one is there to check your ticket. . But once you are inside, and if you choose to leave the area after 8 or 9 am until 5 pm, you have to pay to come back in. You can buy a one day or in my case 3 days pass.  Do check with the owner for up to date information.  The room was quite clean. There were hot water all the time. There were other guests during my stay but they were not noisy at all. I barely heard them. I slept very well during my 3 nights there.  Zhouhuang is really beautiful. There are many canals, bridges, boat rides, good food of all kinds. I had some of the best meals there. In fact , I ate in the same restaurant that serves dumpling twice. One night I had grill (BBQ) meat just outside the entrance for 4 yuans. .  There is decent size supermarket just outside the turnstile and not too far away is a much bigger supermarket. It was there where I bought half a Peking duck for only 32 yuans . The seller sliced the meat and separated the meat from  the bones. The bones he fried so it was crunchy.  It was delicious. There is a theater that offers performances. The night view is great. If you step out your room, you will be overwhelmed in a good sense by the exciting surroundings.  This hotel definitely is one of the best that I have ever stayed in. Look at the beautiful pictures and find one that you like.  I stayed only 3 nights and one of those days I went to Tongli. In my opinion, one should spend at least 2 to 3 full days in  Zhouhuang (and especially this hotel ) savor the ambience. I don’t think Tongli is worth the time because it was twice as expensive and there are not that many canals and boat rides. It is much quieter and has fewer things to see. . The worst is that the sightseeing places require you to show your ticket. After 2 places, I lost mine ticket and I  couldn’t get in the rest of the places. It is unnecessary to require proof of entrance because you can’t enter the area without a ticket. 

I cannot recommend this place enough, like living inside a magical fairytale! Zhouzhuang itself is one of the most beautiful places I've visited, and getting to live in a hotel that looks right out of history but with all modern comforts was such a special experience! The room was spacious and beautiful, with large, comfortable beds, and a nice, big clean bathroom. Outside it was a beautiful courtyard with a large osmanthus tree in full bloom, the scent perfuming the air whenever we left the door open. The owner, Fei, was super friendly and helpful - we communicated through the hotel's wechat beforehand and she came to meet us at the nearest gate to the ancient town to help guide us through getting tickets, and then helping us carry our luggage to the hotel. On the day we left it was raining, and not only did the hotel staff carry our luggage back outside the town, we were given umbrellas to keep so we wouldn't get wet while waiting for our didi ride. The hotel itself doesn't serve breakfast, but there are lots of restaurants and little snack shops and juice bars around, so finding delicious things to eat and drink is easy. We stayed here while heading over to Suzhou to visit the gardens, it's about an hour's taxi drive away. A very immersive cultural experience! A magical stay all around, I really hope I will be able to come back and visit again one day!

This newly opened Marriott Sheraton boasts rooms all facing Dianshan Lake. It's about an hour's drive from the city, and there are plenty of attractions nearby like Grand View Garden, Zhujiajiao Ancient Town, and Rainbow Bridge. Our room was on the 8th floor, offering fantastic sunset views from a high vantage point. Check-in is on the 2nd floor, accessible directly from the underground parking, which also has charging stations. The lady who checked us in, Yoyo❤️, was incredibly gentle and thoughtful. She proactively asked if I was a Marriott member to link my details and even shared tips on local attractions for easy walking tours.😊 Although I wasn't traveling with family, I'd highly recommend it to those who are. The indoor kids' club is sufficiently sized, featuring a slide, ball pit, and picture books. There's also an indoor swimming pool and an outdoor lawn playground (though it's been a bit sunny lately). It's a great spot to let loose and enjoy the fresh air at sunset. The hotel's dining options are also commendable. The Feast All-Day Dining restaurant offers a breakfast buffet with local specialties like Kunshan Aozhao noodles. While not the largest variety, it's a good blend of Chinese and Western dishes, all exquisitely presented. Cai Yue Xuan Chinese Restaurant serves Huaiyang, Cantonese, and fusion cuisine. The portion sizes are well-managed, allowing two people to order several individual dishes for a varied experience. If you prefer not to rack your brain over ordering, their set menus are a well-balanced and reasonably priced option. Overall, it's a hotel I'd definitely return to. I appreciate the warm staff and the feeling of a welcoming 'home away from home.' P.S. A genuine review from a former colleague from years ago.
