"This is a brand new hotel, so new you can still smell the renovation. The windows require a tool to open, and it took two calls before someone came to help. Perhaps they're understaffed. I chose Hyatt Place partly because it's new, but why no smart toilets in a 2025 renovation? Why does the bathroom floor pool with water so badly? And those wall-mounted toiletries – I wonder if management has actually tried using them? It seems they're so worried about theft that they completely overlook user experience, and the lack of a shelf isn't great either. All in all, there's plenty of room for improvement."

"We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at the Golden Eagle Summit Hotel Kunshan, and it was truly an unforgettable day with cherished memories ❤️. I admit I had a bit of decision paralysis when booking a hotel. Around 9 PM, I decided to call the hotel to inquire about reservation details. To my pleasant surprise, Ms. Wang Xinyi from the reservations department was incredibly enthusiastic and patiently answered all my questions, dispelling all my doubts. That's when I immediately decided on the Golden Eagle. During our three-day, two-night stay at Summit, Xiaoxin (Ms. Wang Xinyi) provided incredibly attentive care. Not only did she discreetly help me decorate the room while juggling other tasks, creating a wonderful surprise for my husband and me the moment we walked in, but she also thoughtfully offered suggestions for dining and entertainment nearby. Even when she wasn't on duty, she ensured every detail was seamlessly handled, making us feel completely at home and enriching our vacation experience immensely! I also want to extend my thanks to the entire Golden Eagle Summit service team, including the front desk, housekeeping, and restaurant staff, for collectively helping us create such a warm anniversary atmosphere (and a special shout-out to Chen Jiayao, the concierge at the 29th-floor Western restaurant – your smile is truly uplifting)! "This little traditional inn was absolutely delightful 1 night stay and the host family could not have been more kind and helpful. The owner helped us get our bags to and from the inn as everything in this area is pedestrianised and no vehicle is available for transporting luggage. You must register for entrance into the historical zone at the main office before you try to enter the security gates by showing your ID as is the case with all things in China. Don't let this put you off. Smoking indoors is common so ask for smoke free treatment. Highly recommended."

"This was my first stay at this hotel and it was an excellent experience. The fitness center and swimming pool on the 5th floor are perfect for families with children. Since it's located by the lake, we were able to wake up early and take the kids for a walk and some photos by the lake in the morning."

"For a one-day trip to Kunshan during the May Day holiday, I compared various options on Trip.com (considering rooms, location, and reviews) and booked the Lamborghini. Parking in the B2 underground garage was a plus for us, as we drive a seven-seater and need ample space (multi-story parking wouldn't work). Check-in was very convenient, and Front Office Manager Chang was incredibly welcoming, even giving us a small gift. He proactively added us on WeChat, offering assistance with any questions. The room was spacious, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom and a bathtub, perfect for our little one. Breakfast at the second-floor Western restaurant was excellent, with a wide variety of food and a comfortable ambiance. It's a shame there wasn't a dinner buffet. On the first floor, there's free craft making, which my daughter enjoyed for a long time. The second floor has arcade games, though not many, and they're more suited for older children. We had lunch at Lan Mian Fang; while pricey, it was definitely worth the money. There's a beautiful floating night market right outside the hotel. Just a few suggestions: there was no conditioner in the room, which made washing hair a bit difficult; and the lack of a door separating the shower area from the hallway felt a bit unusual – perhaps a sliding door could be installed. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would happily return if we have the chance."
