GGuest UserLocation: In the center of the ancient city, it is very convenient to go out to eat.
The boss will send breakfast coupons. You can choose three famous local breakfasts.
There is a coffee shop downstairs. It is quiet and hot water is sufficient.
The boss is very enthusiastic and will tell you where to go to play and where to buy things cheap
The first time I came to Lushan to live too far, this time it was just right.
You can drink the coffee of God's blessing when you go out.

AAnonymous UserAs an SLH hotel, I had high expectations before arriving, but was ultimately disappointed.
However, it's not all bad. The following met my expectations:
1) Good maintenance and design of public areas
2) Xiao Gong from the restaurant was proactive and attentive to detail.
3) The alpaca feeder at the construction site in the backyard saw me looking at the alpacas through a gap in the back and pointed me through the bamboo grove in the construction area, even bringing me carrots to feed them (the message in the check-in group said carrots would be placed on the table, but they weren't).
The following did not meet my expectations:
1) Poor soundproofing in the room, and limescale in the sink and stains on the bathroom walls;
2) I needed tea sets to send a message, but they weren't delivered to my room even after two days, and I was too lazy to send another message;
3) Besides the aforementioned food and beverage service and the shuttle service at the North Gate of the Old Town, there were no other services, and no proactive service was provided. The card making experience was completely self-service; you had to find the paper and ink yourself from the cabinet, resulting in the card making tools and boards being in poor condition.

FFaiza LeithTo escape the frenzy of Kunming ancient town, we took a 2.5 hr train ride to Weishan - an authentic, uncommercialized old town with the splendid Yuan Chuang Yi Su hotel.
The bed is super comfortable, and the window seat great for relaxing after a truly hot shower. Sanitized towels are delivered daily in sealed bags and CGTN for foreign guests is available on a huge TV!
Yuan Chuang Yi Su's owner is a Mensch. His fluency in English and passion for his adopted town enriched our China trip. He sensed my vegetarian needs and whisked me off to the local market!
Yuan Chuang Yi Su is the smartest, but the least expensive of our 28 day trip in Guangdong - Yunnan.
We relished the smart set-up, the gleaming interior and delightful neighborhood of eateries.
The hotel is truly a train-rider's dream: just 25 minute walk away from Weishan Railway station and 5 minutes from the inexpensive tourist buses that take you as far as Weibaoshan and East Lotus Village.

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The staff were all really friendly, helpful, and made us feel at home. The location was convenient — close to many restaurants and popular attractions!
We really liked Weishan. It’s a beautiful ancient town — much less commercialized than many other places — with a charming and peaceful atmosphere.

GGuest UserThe bathroom was a bit cramped. We arrived at 4:30 PM, and the duvet cover hadn't even been put on yet. On the plus side, it was clean, which at least showed they diligently change and wash the duvet covers and sheets. The hotel has a parking lot, but it was quite full due to the number of guests. Luckily, we still found an empty spot when we arrived. It's also close to the Old Town; we just walked to Sifang Street and then turned the corner into the Old Town, which was very convenient.

zhaoyueI really like Donglianhua Village, which has a strong Islamic style. The owner of the inn, Pony, is super handsome and enthusiastic. He invited me to have dinner. His courtyard is clean and beautiful, and the rooms are also full of ethnic style, with small horse lanterns. The caravan culture is very authentic. I feel like I am a Ma Guotou. It is very convenient to go to Weishan Ancient City from the village. There is a minibus at the entrance of the village, which goes directly to Weishan Ancient City. The bus runs every half an hour. If you catch up with the market day, you can take the minibus. Go to Dianzhong Street or Temple Street to see the rich market. There is cattle and sheep trading. It is very interesting. It is a good place to learn more about Weishan County. The people are simple and warm. I like it very much.

FFlash_MThis time I discovered a treasure B&B. The room layout is warm and comfortable, the bedding is soft and clean, allowing you to have a good night's sleep. The B&B's service is also very attentive. The host is warm and friendly, and any problems can be solved in time. They also provided thoughtful travel suggestions to make our trip smoother and more comfortable. The surrounding transportation is convenient. I will come again next time I have the opportunity! ! !

NNibbler IYou don't usually expect much from a hotel near a railway station, but this one's actually pretty decent and the owners are super welcoming. We even got upgraded to a bigger room with a mahjong table and spent a good chunk of time playing card games. The room comes with TV, AC, hairdryer, few bottles of water, some tea, and toiletries. Keep in mind: all rooms have squat toilets. Still, for the price, I'm really happy with this stay

GGuest UserI was hesitant to book this guesthouse when it opened at the end of September because there were no reviews and no pictures. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The courtyard was beautiful and clean. The owners seemed to be a family of three. The house was very well maintained, and the courtyard was cozy. I especially enjoyed watching TV on the balcony at night; it was incredibly relaxing. I stayed for two days, and on the second day, when I asked the owners to take out the trash, they cleaned and tidied the entire room. Breakfast was free at a noodle shop next door. Everything was excellent. The guesthouse also has loft suites, which are large and spacious. The other rooms I looked at each had their own unique charm. The price was cheap, especially considering it's located in the old town.

The room has little to none surfaces to put your own stuff. Room had no table, I had to ask for one, and it was delivered. So at least they tried to deliver an acceptable service.
You can hear how your neighbors from all sides take shower or use toilet. Constant sound of loud running water. Sound isolation is terrible. After listening to all that for few hours, I packed my stuff and went to a nearby hotel.
Would not recommend to anyone.
