As a foreigner who has been living in China for two years, this is honestly the first time I have felt so comfortable, welcomed, and connected with local people during a stay. I stayed at Ruoheng when doing a trail run. It was a recommended hotel. There was a receptionist who spoke English and helped me order delivery food which a cute robot delivered to my room. Even though my room didn't have a window, it didn't bother me, was spacious and very comfortable. The shower was powerful too which I like. It's in a town but I didn't explore.
