I cannot recommend this hotel enough! I am currently visiting and do not speak a word of Chinese, which can usually make things stressful—but the team here made everything seamless. We had to communicate entirely through a translator app, and the staff couldn't have been more patient or kind. I ran into a bit of a crisis where I needed same-day dry cleaning, and the reception team jumped into action immediately. They handled the situation with such grace and efficiency, ensuring my clothes were ready right when I needed them. Why this hotel stands out: • The Reception Team: All the girls at the front desk are absolute gems. They are professional, lovely, and never made me feel like my language barrier was a burden. • True Hospitality: I felt welcomed from the second I arrived. Even the security guard at the entrance was incredibly friendly and helpful! • Top-Notch Service: They go above and beyond to assist with any request, no matter how complex the ”lost in translation” moment might be. If you’re a solo traveler or someone who doesn't speak the local language, stay here. You will be in great hands. Thank you to the whole team for making me feel so well-assisted!

Excellent service, spotless and hygienic, and the room was a series of pleasant surprises. The clean and tidy environment was immediately impressive upon entering. The bedding was soft, made of raw cotton, and the mattress was perfectly firm. It came with two different types of pillows, making it incredibly comfortable to fall asleep immediately after a long night's travel. The hot water in the bathroom was consistent, the smart toilet was very convenient, and the soundproofing throughout the house was superb – I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway at all, even as a light sleeper like myself, I slept soundly. The most delightful feature was the window design; opening the curtains in the morning revealed a beautiful street view, and the bright, natural light was perfect for taking photos.

The hotel is fairly close to the popular Pang Donglai restaurant, about a 15-minute walk. The rooms are very spacious, and the receptionist even upgraded us to a room with a bathtub for free – fantastic! Staying in the top-floor view room offered a panoramic vista of the surrounding mountains.

I must give 5 points of praise, if possible I would give 5+! ! ! The service is attentive and considerate to the point that I feel that Seven Star Hotel may not do better than him. From the welcome at the front desk to the parking lot, everything is in place, very friendly, and the hardware configuration is also very comprehensive. Breakfast was not included when booking, but the front desk took the initiative to give it to me and said that breakfast was 29 yuan per person. I didn't expect much at first, but unexpectedly the breakfast was very rich! I really stayed at a treasure hotel. I couldn’t help but ask the lady at the front desk if the hotel had anything to do with Fat Donglai. Of course I got a negative answer🤣The reason why I asked this was really because of their service It can be called the ”Fat Dong Lai” in the hotel industry, haha.

The bathroom is well separated from wet and dry, and the hot water is fast and stable. The details are also very intimate: a variety of charging ports are provided, a small refrigerator is full of drinks, and free tea bags and coffee. The front desk service was warm and thoughtful, and the check-in and check-out procedures were fast. The location is also very convenient, walking to the subway station and the surrounding business district is very close. Very good value for money, whether it is a business trip or a leisure trip, it will be the first choice next time!

In general very nice hotel. Friendly staff besides no one could speak in English fluently (but they were very proactive and experts using translation apps and AI). Anyway, not so many foreigners in Xuchang. Cleaning is very good, they give you water and tea everyday. Breakfast is a lot of food, mostly Chinese but also eggs, omelette, bread and sausage. My negative feedback is that coffee there was not good, I think the machine and the grains are not ideal. In general very worthy the price but I believe the gym could be improved with one or two benches and maybe some essential machinery. The rest let me very satisfied and I even prolonged my stay. Staff is very happy what gives you a nice vibe!

Heweigui Hotel is absolutely fantastic! The room was clean, spacious, and completely odor-free, making for a really comfortable stay. They have an underground parking lot, and it was free upon check-out, which was a huge plus. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and thoughtful. Overall, a perfect experience!
