Outstanding
JJetsettWe had a wonderful stay at this apartment. Its our second time staying here.The property was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained and very new. Its location was perfect, with easy access to shops, restaurants, bars and all essential amenities. Being only 10 minutes from the airport made our travel plans very convenient.
A special mention goes to the host, who provided outstanding customer service and very friendly and helpful.This thoughtful gesture was greatly appreciated and made our experience even more enjoyable.
I highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a clean, safe, convenient, and welcoming place to stay. We would definitely stay here again.

AAnonymous UserThe room was incredibly clean, the floors were so shiny you could see your reflection, I almost felt bad walking barefoot on them! The owners are a couple from Beijing who have lived in Fiji for over ten years. The airport pick-up service was super convenient. The owner can also help book day tours, and the pick-up/drop-off point is very close by, making it easy to get to the pier. There are many delicious Chinese restaurants nearby. I especially loved the driver the owner arranged for me on the second day; he ate, played, and chatted with me all along the way, sharing so many interesting facts about Fiji and introducing various amazing things. It was an excellent experience! Highly recommend! So convenient for a layover.

JJasminlyI loved the luxurious lobby and our room with a beautiful pool view. The beach at night is stunning, especially with the fire decorations. The location is very convenient, being close to the airport, and the food is also good.
However, there were some issues. We called twice for extra towels and to replace a dirty vanity kit in our room, but no one came. Some staff also seemed to take advantage of travelers. For example, we had to wait a long time to get a refund for a drink we bought at the pool bar and could only receive it after repeatedly asking. Additionally, we tried to book an early morning taxi to the airport, but the staff claimed it wasnât possible because taxis werenât available at that time. Later, we saw a taxi at the hotel front dropping off a passenger. The staff then quickly came out to say she can book one now.
Overall, while the property and amenities are lovely, service issues affected our experience.

GGuest UserThe rooms are tastefully decorated and well-equipped, and the views are absolutely perfect. The restaurant quality is also good, and watching the sunset at the fish bar was a fantastic experience. The staff are all incredibly well-trained, enthusiastic, and professionalâit's not just a few individuals, but every single employee is welcoming and ready to assist with anything you need. Marriott's hotel training really shines through here. If I had to nitpick, the hotel sofas are a bit dated and starting to yellow slightly, and while the bed sheets are clean, they also show a bit of age with a slight yellowish tint. On a positive note, the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable; I rarely sleep this well in a hotel. This is definitely a highly recommended top-tier hotel in Fiji.

KKingfeet99We had a very pleasant stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Fiji - Sonaisali Island. The biggest highlight of this hotel is definitely the staff â everyone was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always trying to help with a smile. You can tell the team really cares about the guests, and that makes a huge difference.
The hotel itself is quite remote and isolated, which can be either a positive or a negative depending on what you are looking for. There is no real private beach for swimming, so donât expect a classic white-sand Fiji beach resort experience. However, the location is absolutely perfect for sunsets. The evening atmosphere is beautiful, calm, and very relaxing.
The breakfast is not really at a 5-star level in terms of variety or quality, but it is still more than sufficient and you will definitely find enough options to start the day well.
One thing that really feels outdated though: charging extra for Wi-Fi in the rooms in 2026 is honestly absurd. Hilton, seriously â what decade are we living in? Free room Wi-Fi should be standard at this level nowadays.

The room is decent with mini fridge, hot showers, bath amenities. The room has AC and extra blanket. Wifi is working OK.
You still need to double check if the hotel have received your payment to avoid double charging.

LLWHHThe staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel has a great locationâright by the beach, perfect for enjoying beautiful sunsets. There's also a convenient store nearby with a restaurant upstairs that serves delicious food.
Our deluxe room was clean but near the main entrance so a bit noisy at times. The only downside was the bathroom. The shower took a long time to produce hot water, resulting in wasted water and often uncomfortably cold showers. The water pressure was also quite low. Additionally, there was no shelf near the sink to place toiletries like toothpaste, which made things a bit inconvenient.

Mmomo196405I went for breakfast at 6:15 AM on the 20th, after being told it started at 6 AM. When I asked the omelet station attendant to make an omelet, she had just poured herself a cup of coffee and told me to come back later. Five minutes later, no one was there, and then she returned another five minutes after that and finally took my order. She made it, but without a smile, seeming rather annoyed. If this is the case, it would be better to just state that breakfast starts at 6 AM, but omelets aren't available until after 6:30 AM.

MmoeuIt takes about 2 hours to walk from the airport, so it's better to take a taxi. There is no shampoo, so you need to bring your own. There is an Indian restaurant nearby, so you won't have any trouble finding food. It seems that the security situation is not very good at night, so you will need a taxi to go out.
