Posted on May 12, 2025|Standard Private Single Room-Accommodates 1 To 2 Guests With Twin Room, Mountain View-Non-Smoking
Guest UserIt's near Mt Fuji station to access train & intercity bus, within walk range. I book twin room with mountain view, all good, very clean, tidy, comfortable, & quiet (very good to catch deep sleep after your busy day traveling). Bathroom, washtafel, kitchen are shared in very good condition & comes in complete amenities & tools! They provide free coffee, tea, homemade bread, block ice, & all seasoning for cooking. Very nice!
*I forgot to capture bed & bathroom in empty condition, lol

Posted on Jun 25, 2025|Fukuchi Superior Mount Fuji View Japanese Style Suite A with Open-Air Bath and Terrace - Non-Smoking
Guest UserIt was a perfect stay at Bessho Sasa my family and I really appreciated the superb service the staff provided my family (I travelled with my 88-year old mum so we had quite a lot of needs) with. I had left some items in the room and they promptly had it couriered to me in Tokyo. The dinners each night were very well prepared, each day was fun-filled with so many activities. The Taiko show was done so professionally I was surprised that the drummers were all staff of the resort!! I would love to re-visit the resort again some day.

This hotel is amazing, it didn’t even mention online that it has an Onsen and some of the rooms have a perfect view of Mount Fuji.
There is only 10 minute walk to Fuji-Q highland although unfortunately the weather was so bad we couldn’t see Mount Fuji or anything for that matter, and also could not go to Fuji-Q Highland because of the weather.
With that said the hotel does not make the weather, it is pretty convenient, although the walk may be a bit far for older persons.
Thankyou very much for our stay, we will return in 2028 as our trip to Japan has been so good that we are planning our return already. Hopefully we can do the stuff we missed out on this time.

Many people criticize this B&B, so I'll say a few fair words. First of all, the landlord is an auntie who speaks a little English but not Chinese. She chatted with me in English when I checked in. Because it's a homestay, there are many rules, such as no smoking, throwing towels in a bamboo basket after taking a shower, trying to be quiet after 11pm, washing dishes after breakfast, etc. I live with my son, and these rules are not a big problem for us, so I feel good overall. And because I checked in before 8pm, the landlord sent breakfast, including bread, fried eggs, grilled sausage, and salad, which tasted really good.

This hotel is super good. You can barbecue and cook by yourself. There is also a place to take a hot spring bath. The house is large and the facilities are complete. The price is reasonable. Next time my family comes to Mount Fuji, I will choose here again.

Mark PuskoGood - The cabins are well insulated for weather & noise. Well appointed with pyjamas, towels, various bathroom supplies (extra can be obtained from snack room) complimentary noodles or frozen meals & bottled water/beer. The beds were soft & comfortable. The cabins were spotless.Equiped with a/c, air purifier & fan heater. In a quiet area of the neighbourhood. Great view of Mt Fuji from the rooftop balcony. Short walk to restaurants & 7/11.
Average - I had difficulty completing the pre arrival registration however the staff quickly responded to emails helping me through the process. There are e-bikes & scooters for hire onsite. But you must have access to a Japanese phone number to register the app to hire them. Tourist Sim & pocket wifi don't allow a phone number it is data only.
Bad - it is further away from the train station than shown on Google maps - allow 1.6klm to either Fujisan or Fuji-Q stations. The carpark is dirt. The cars or wind make a lot of dust. When raining or wet the dirt turns muddy making your shoes & suitcase dirty.

The host was amazing, and the views were absolutely stunning! Loved it, highly recommend to everyone. I accidentally left my phone on the bus and couldn't communicate with the staff, but the hostess helped us out big time, which was super nice of her! 👍

Everything was great, the only downside is that it's right next to the train tracks. I was woken up by a train around 5 AM, which meant I had to get up. But on the bright side, an early bird catches the worm, so I just got an early start on my sightseeing!

In the hotel's R1 room, you can even see Mount Fuji directly while lying down🥰The Japanese boss has a very good attitude towards Chinese people, and there is no problem communicating in English. The room is quite big for two people. There is a 711 and the very famous Inari Shrine within a five-minute walk, 100%💯💯💯

A fun glamping experience. I really think the cabins could benefit from management staying in them overnight from time to time - things like no hooks to hang things, dark and smoky vestibules outside the cabins, pots that don't work on induction heat etc. could be resolved.
But overall a well-managed place in a nice location.
