Shimoda Hotels with Free Parking.

She wanted a proper ryokan experience, so after some searching, we found one that felt right—well-kept, understated, and quietly confident. We arrived just before 5pm and were met at the car park by a gentleman who greeted us by name and carried our luggage in. Inside, we were welcomed by Na (I hope I got that right), who walked us through everything—the onsen, breakfast, the rhythm of the place—before leading us to our room. The ryokan has been around for close to a century, and you can feel it. Not in a grand or showy way, but in the stillness. Standing by the window, looking down at the pond—ducks drifting across, carp circling slowly—it was almost too quiet, the kind that makes you pause without realising. We headed out briefly that evening to explore the small town and grab dinner, but came back early. The onsen drew us in—hot water against the cool night air—and by the time we laid out the futons, everyone was ready to sink in. Soft, simple, and unexpectedly comfortable. Morning came gently—birds in the background, ducks already awake. At breakfast, our family name was waiting for us, and the spread was generous without being excessive. We ate more than we should have. By 10am, we were packing up again. All the staff was there to send us off.

Бар работающий с 20 до 22 часов и бармен Хироку , который готовил нам коктейли отличный джин-тоник за 300 йен -это просто подарок !!! Хироку тебе привет от девчонок из России и спасибо за отдых !! Комнаты чистые и уютные ! Вещи можно было оставить после выезда и сходить на пляж ЗАВТРАКИ ! Таких завтраков я ни в одной гостинице в Японии не ела )) омлет , овощи , фрукты , панкейки и безлимитный кофе 🙏🥰 Вид с обрыва шикарен 🥹 отель Сирахама очень милый и уютный ! Рекомендую 🥲🙏 Трансфера к сожалению не оказалось ((( Но я бы вернулась сюда ещё 😍✨🫠🙏

This is my third time visiting Shimoda in Izu, and I've chosen this hotel all three times. While it's small, it's incredibly convenient, being just a one-minute walk from both the train and bus stations. What's even better is that their website states no breakfast is provided, but they actually offer a complimentary breakfast, which is a really nice touch. If I come to Shimoda again, I'll definitely pick this hotel.

This B&B is managed by an old man. Guests are accommodated on the second floor, and there is a BBQ on the first floor. This B&B has a bit of a Hawaiian feel. Although it is a bit old, the hygiene inside is very good and clean. I took some photos for your reference👏

This was my first time visiting Minamiizu, and a friend recommended this hotel – it truly lived up to expectations! The accommodations were great, and the food was delicious. My only complaint is regarding the shuttle service. The day before check-in, I specifically asked about pickup details through Trip.com customer service. The hotel only sent a text message with the pickup time, but not the location. I assumed, like most hotels, that it would pick up in front of the JR station. To my surprise, I waited from 2 PM to 3 PM and saw no sign of the hotel bus. I started to feel something was wrong and checked Trip.com, where I saw a guest comment mentioning that after 3:10 PM, there would be no more pickups. Panicked, I immediately called the hotel. That's when I learned the hotel bus has a specific waiting point, around the corner, to the right of the JR station (and then to the right again). If this isn't communicated beforehand, and there are no signs at the station, it's impossible for guests to know where to wait. Therefore, I strongly suggest the hotel standardize its pickup service by clearly stating both the pickup time and location in advance. Both pieces of information are essential!

Amazing place to stay,aesthetic view and a great amazing dinner and breakfast ambience. I choose and booked the private villa with pool and which is good,I enjoyed the dinner foods they served us,so classy and elegant presentation. So I ordered the bottle of botega champagne which is fit for the foods they offered. Lovely it was and amazing wonderful evening. After we had a night pool with my partner and we bring our own foods and drinks champagne for the long night to celebrate our stay. I’m very satisfied for my stay at this place. Staff was really nice and good at their service. Perfect 👌 I love to came back again soon… Thank you so much 🤞🏻❣️

It is recommended to drive by car or chartered accommodation will be very convenient, otherwise there is a bus to Shita Station in the morning, and the bus has been taken three times. If it is not for the departure station, it will be late, and the backpackers will do a good job in advance. The accommodation is good, very quiet, cleaned very clean, not far from the white sand beach, not good for taxi! ! ! Very bad for taxi! ! ! Taxis cannot be reserved, all by bus, didi and go will show no car, the whole field seems to be like this, even if the software display in the station is like this.

As expected, it has a long history and the building is old. However, the location from the room offered a panoramic view of the sea, and the indoor baths were also well-maintained, making it an excellent choice. The food was a buffet, but the quality of everything from seafood and meat to Chinese food, desserts, and alcoholic beverages was excellent and very satisfying. Overall, the staff's customer service was excellent, making this an inn I would recommend for family trips.

Very Japanese style, suitable for foreigners who want to experience pure Japanese style and natural hot springs. It’s so worth it, so mysterious and amazing🤩
