The owner was very friendly. He bought us welcome gifts. He even informed us about the weather around the area. The scenery was fantastic as well, as you are greeted by lake toya the minute you step out of the house. Overall it was a great experience and the owner was very hospitable and friendly, I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone interested in visiting lake toya or Niseko.

Nestled amidst lush greenery and surrounded by the soothing sounds of insects and birds, this secluded cabin offers a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The owner even went the extra mile by offering us a hearty breakfast to kickstart our day. Access to the loft is via a collapsible staircase, which may not be suitable for those with a fear of heights.

The views are absolutely stunning! If you don't have a car, it might be a bit inconvenient to get around, but it's incredibly peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Just a heads up, the accommodation doesn't have an elevator (if you're traveling with elderly guests, I'd recommend booking a ground-floor room). It's clean, and there's a bathtub for soaking. You get fantastic views of Mt. Yotei and Lake Toya, which are truly beautiful. However, it's a bit far from dining options, so it's a good idea to stock up on food before heading back to the accommodation (though there is a bento vending machine right outside!).

Location at edge of the quiet town was good. Easy access to food places and driving to attractions around lake Toya. Staff informed us where would be the best spot to view the daily fireworks during summer. Rooms will all oversee the lake so it was brilliant waking up to such sights. Hotel breakfast was simple but delightful. Felt like home cooked foo

The host does not speak English and Chinese. He loves cleanliness. He stayed alone and didn't meet. I saw the note printed on the door. The instructions were very clear. Just go to the room table and get the key. Remember to change your shoes upstairs and lift the stairs. You can't wear shoes when you enter the room. After check-in, I have to call the host and send a small gift, thank you. The bathroom door is not very flexible, but it doesn't matter. The host gave the Wanshige soup coupon. It is enough to pay 500 yen. The soup is very good. There is no need to wash it at the host. Experienced the joy of making your bed and staying at a Japanese homestay! At night we could see fireworks from the room, zero crowds needed. Felt so special. *Highlights:* 1. *Private onsen option*: Booked a private family onsen and it was worth every yen. Clean, spacious, and relaxing with lake views. No rushing with others. 2. *Fireworks*: Room faced the lake so we watched the nightly summer fireworks from bed. Hotel staff even told us the timing. 10/10 experience. 3. *Room*: Spacious Japanese-Western room, tatami + bed. Clean and well-maintained. 4. *Location*: Right by the lake + short walk to shops. Buffet dinner had local Hokkaido food too.

”This was an ocean-view house we rented for just one day to visit Chikyu Misaki (Cape Chikyu) and Lake Toya before heading to Sapporo and Otaru with a group of 8 people. As expected, the ocean view was amazing, there was plenty of space for all 8 of us to sleep, and all the facilities were well-equipped. Everyone felt it was a real shame we could only stay for one day. It offers great value for the price. Note: There aren't many restaurants nearby, and most of them close around 7–8 PM, so keep that in mind.”

The hotel was clean and tidy, and the service was pretty good. The onsen (hot spring) was excellent and very hot; there's even an outdoor one where you can soak while watching the snow. The price was fair. The only thing that could be improved is that breakfast and dinner could be a bit more varied. Oh, and the complimentary sake was fantastic!
