Tsuruoka Hotels with Free Parking.

Loved this place!! The host was so lovely and held conversation with us even with our broken Japanese haha, gave us maps / guides for the Dewa Sanzan and even asked us about our itinerary for the next day (as we were going to climb the other 2 mountains, he made sure we knew the bus timings). It was such a nice traditional ryokan, with comfy tatami, public ofuro (hot steaming bath that felt great after climbing Hagurosan), yukata, and even tea powder and biscuits set out in the room :”) Our room had a wash basin and sofa chairs as well, but not sure if that's for all rooms. We paid 660yen each for breakfast taken away (2 big onigiri balls!) but couldn't have dinner added on (so make sure you check beforehand, because most places in the town close by 5pm). Overall 100% recommend staying here! Loved our stay, thank you :)

Sleep in this place is a unique and incredible experience: the rooms and equipment are very comfortable, the very welcome atmosphere and the experience, both spiritual and culinary, incredible! In the first place, you can find the surroundings when the night falls and the Haguro mountain is very calming in the morning! In conclusion, one night at Daishinbo, it is not just sleep in a temple, it is living a separate experience Thank you very much !

It was clean, the onsen was bubbly, the sauna was great, the cold bath was awesome. Breakfast and dinner quality was fantastic as well, I would definitely come again. But if with my wife, I probably might not due to the lack of onsen for the females.

I spent two nights in Tokyo Daiichi Hotel Tsuruoka and I would stay there again. The location is very good - ten minutes easy walk from Tsuruoka JR train station and it's directly connected to S-Mall, so you don't even have to go outside to access the shops and restaurants in the mall. There is also a bus terminal at the mall for local buses - I caught a bus from there to Mount Haguro. The bedroom was a good size for a Japanese business hotel with a good size desk and chair. However, I could only find one power socket! It's good that I brought a power strip! Typical of Japanese hotels with Onsen / Sentō the bathroom is small - most people would use the public bath facilities to shower. The hotel has a Japanese style bath, however it was in the annexe, so it was rather confusing the first time I tried to find it. Two of the baths were inaccessible - the door was locked. The main bath was okay, there is a sauna and cold plunge pool. The front desk were very polite, efficient and could speak basic English.

The interior is decorated with replicas of the Terracotta Warriors and Horses shipped from Xi'an, China. The hotel has 58 rooms. It is said that most of the guests in Taiwan and South Korea. Did you have to leave early in the morning, or thank you for being flexible, such as early time. The most surprising thing was that it was managed by Al Ketchano. I'm sorry I couldn't eat dinner ... And I was surprised to hear that Mr. Okuda was made until breakfast! !! It was a surprise during the busy period and it was a reward for me.

The hotel can directly see the invincible sea view. If the weather is good, you can enjoy the sunset. The Japanese dinner is very delicious. The breakfast is also very rich. The hot spring is also very comfortable! like very much

The hotel is very close to Hegang, just a few minutes walk, there is a bus to the Kamao Aquarium in front of the bus, so convenient, the staff is kind and courteous, the room is facing the railway, and the car is not too loud when passing by.

初めて伺いましたがあつみ温泉街のいちばん手前にあります。 夕食はカニ食べ放題🦀に目の前で揚げてくれる天ぷらなど、お腹いっぱいです。 朝ごはんも種類豊富で7時からでしたが大勢の方が食事されてました。何度もお風呂に入る人にはタオル補充いただけると助かります
