Love this house so much! The view is amazing The room is very clean and comfy Dinner and breakfast are gorgeous! I hope I would stay longer! Will come back definitely Fully recommend😊

Great ryokan to stay in if you are skiing in the echigo yuzawa area. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which takes you to most of the ski slopes via the blue line/route shuttle bus. The rooms are big enough (japanese tatami style) and the onsens are wonderful to use after a day out in the mountains. The only issues I had were the laundry washing and drying coin machines. There are only 2 washers and 2 dryers. The cost is much higher than other hotels we have been to, and the dryer was unable to dry our clothes fully. The clothes were roughly 70-80% dry, to which we hung it in our room overnight to air dry. That being said, I would still choose to stay here again as the convenience and location are unmatched.

One of the nearest accommodation to Gala Yuzawa Ski Resort and shuttle via a mini bus is available. Shuttle bus goes to Echigo Yuzawa station too. It is walking distance from Gala Yuzawa. Approach any staff at the Ski Resort with the telephone number of the hotel to request for it. Stayed there for a few night for snowboarding. Breakfast selection was fabulous with two local Japanese sake available! The room is big, clean and well furnished. It even come with a great view! Onsen street which is the street lined with restaurant is 10-15mins walk away. I recommend making reservation for dinner if you do not intend to go out for dinner. Great service is one of the key reason why I would return to stay!

Very good location, near the train station, bus stop and Nagazato ski center. the room is moderately spacious,but not soundproof Shared bathroom with onsen bath Very good food the owner is nice,try to communicate with foreigners,recommend and lend snow boots It is very suitable for people to go to snow ski snow in Yuzawa Nakazato.

The service was excellent. The shuttle bus picked us up and dropped us off at Yuzawa Station East Exit, and it only took 5 minutes to get to the hotel. The outdoor onsen (hot spring) was amazing, with continuous snow-capped mountains right outside. The hotel also offers a partnership with a ski rental shop and provides transportation to various ski resorts. Dinner was served in our room and cost 7,700 JPY per person.

Although this place isn't right on the ski slopes, they offer a shuttle service. The rooms are spacious enough, and the staff are friendly and can speak both Chinese and Japanese. They can also help you rent ski equipment, and the rental fees are much cheaper than at the ski center. The bathhouse has a nostalgic vibe. If you want breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you need to book with the owner in advance. The meals are affordable and come in generous portions. This is the best accommodation choice if you're planning a ski trip without a tour group.

Choosing KKR Yuzawa Yukiguni during my trip to Echigo Yuzawa was truly an excellent decision. It's about a 10-minute walk from the station, up a slight hill, but it was quiet, and the room was pre-heated, making it warm and comfortable. What I particularly loved was the dinner kaiseki and breakfast; the ingredients were fresh, the presentation was substantial, and the taste was absolutely delicious. Also, the view from the large public bath felt like looking at a framed painting. If you're going to Echigo Yuzawa, I highly recommend it!

Such a cozy place! Free laundry and hot drinks were much appreciated. There is a fireplace in the common area and a storage room for ski/snowboard equipment. I topped up for the meal plan and the food was great, but the cooking amenities are sufficient for those who wish to bring ingredients and cook their own food. Only thing was that the mattress was a little thin, but I only stayed 2 nights so it wasn't really a big issue to me.

The guesthouse's location is incredibly convenient. In the mornings, you can enjoy a stroll in the nearby Takizawa Park and see the dam and waterfall. The guesthouse staff are very friendly, and the Japanese breakfast is fresh and delicious, offering slight variations each day, which truly shows their dedication to providing a great experience. Guests can also access the hot springs 24/7 for their convenience.
