Perth Two-Bedroom Executive Suite | Spacious & Comfortable, Excellent View, Thoughtful Service My stay in the two-bedroom executive suite in Perth city center was extremely satisfying overall! Spacious Rooms: The suite was very large, featuring a master suite, a separate bedroom, and a guest toilet, offering excellent privacy. The living room connected to a large balcony, overlooking Perth waterfront, providing an excellent view. Well-Equipped Kitchen: The full kitchen came with an induction cooktop (heats up incredibly fast) and an oven (very useful). The kitchenware and bathroom were both very clean. The only minor drawback was a bit of rust on the dishwasher, but it didn't affect its use. Parking and Transportation: The hotel parking is $35 per day with unlimited in-and-out access, which is very convenient. Do note that there aren't many drop-off spots at the entrance, so you might have to wait a bit during peak hours. The location is superb, within walking distance to the Mint and the pier. Thoughtful Service: During our stay, there was a long-distance running event that caused road closures. The hotel staff was very accommodating, allowing us to return the parking key after the event concluded, which saved us a lot of hassle. Conclusion: This is an apartment that excels in space, view, amenities, and service. It offers great value for money and I highly recommend it!

The room facilities were excellent. The location was also great, just a few minutes' walk to the river. The Indian gentleman at the front desk gave us a room with a partial river view. Everything in the mini-fridge was chargeable, but the bedding was incredibly comfortable, and I had a very good night's sleep. It was a very satisfying stay.

I am writing this to warn other travelers about a major security and privacy failure we experienced at Duxton Hotel WA. Upon returning to our room at 8:55 PM, we were shocked to find our room door fully open and propped up with a wooden door wedge. Our room was located near the elevator, meaning our personal belongings and privacy were completely exposed to every passerby for nearly 5 hours (housekeeping finished at 4:30 PM). The most disappointing part was the management's response. They admitted the mistake but refused a refund, justifying it by saying ”CCTV showed no one entered” and ”nothing was stolen.” This logic is absurd. Security is about prevention, not just reporting after a crime occurs. Whether or not someone entered is a matter of LUCK, but leaving the door open was a total failure of their ”Duty of Care.” They offered a bottle of wine and breakfast, which we declined as it felt like a dismissive gesture for such a serious security issue. If you value your privacy and safety, think twice before staying here. A 5-star hotel should not have a 0-star security protocol.

The rooms and hotel amenities are excellent and meet five-star standards, especially thanks to the manager and hotel receptionists! They helped carry our luggage to the room, were friendly and talkative, and were particularly attentive to Chinese free-and-independent travelers. The only thing that was extremely unpleasant was a specific female front desk staff member who completely seemed to favor Western guests or didn't view Chinese guests as a valuable market segment. We stood there waiting for 22 minutes, completely ignored! It wasn't until her colleague noticed something was wrong that we finally received assistance and had our issues resolved! Regarding the misunderstanding during our stay, her colleagues and the manager promptly apologized and took appropriate action. I accepted the apology, but I suggest that as a five-star hotel, they should really improve the service awareness of some staff members. After all, their behavior not only represents the hotel and their personal quality but also Australia's international image, especially since Perth is one of Australia's major cities.

I had originally booked and paid for four family rooms with three beds each, approximately 40 square meters in size. However, upon arrival, I was told there were no family rooms available. Instead, I was given rooms that were only about 20 square meters with one double bed and one single bed. Isn't the point of booking in advance to reserve a specific room type? Why was the room I booked unavailable when I got there? I paid more for the family rooms but was given cheaper, standard rooms. This made our group of 12 people very unhappy. I demand an explanation 😠

There's an underground parking lot, and you can take the elevator directly from there to your room. The location is great, with a 24-hour supermarket right next door. The hotel also has a small shop on the first floor, which is really convenient if you need to grab a drink or a snack. Lots of guests, and free parking is a huge plus!

The room was fully equipped with branded amenities, very clean, and the service was good. The hotel's location is excellent – lively yet quiet, with convenient temporary parking, and close to dining and entertainment options. The only downside is that the parking lot is not on-site, and you have to buy a parking ticket from the front desk every day. Once, both the new and old parking tickets didn't work to exit, and it took over half an hour of back-and-forth, phone calls, and waiting for hotel staff to resolve the issue.

Wow the hotel was very clean & size was just nice for solo or even couple. On 1st floor is common area to go hang out n get water. Common fridge but I didn't use. A nice bench with a few hooks to hang my jacket. Location was very convenient to walk around to CBD area just behind the street. It is also near the museum. Also near the Perth train station. There is even free CBD buses nearby. Got quite a few good restaurants nearby. There was an amazing Japanese restaurant across the street -Is donburi is the shop name. Amazing Kaisendon! Miso soup was yummy & generous portion! There is also a gelato shop with delicious ice cream - Cuccini
