Hotels near Cholla Trailhead Camelback Mountain, Phoenix

We were here for a business meeting. Our room was nice, clean and had everything that we needed. The gardens are well kept and the area is easily walkable. The room had a fridge, safe and microwave. The bed was comfy and there was a nice leather chair and ottoman to use. My Only complaint would be that there was trash sitting in front of our room when we arrived (5:00 pm) and was still there until afternoon the next day. Each day there were sugar and creamer packets and coffee cup lids on the grounds in many places throughout the resort. We had a few receptions and the staff could not have been any more attentive. They did an amazing job serving drinks and food. They were on top of the cleanup also. Job well done. We did have a pre-order luncheon one day also. That meal did not seem as well executed. It took over 45 minutes to be served our meals. The resort has some restaurants across the street that were walkable. The mall and Old Town Scottsdale are nearby also.

This was the best hotel for me on my 3-wchecked trip from Phoenix - Denver - Phoenix. It has only 3 ☆, but it was frozen as the 4 ☆ hotel in Denver or even better, at least when you travel alone. Fully equipped kitchen with large refrigerator, huge microwave and even dishwasher. I found that super. Also the division super, could already eat on the bidder table and watch TV. Ne small sofa with hocker and a comfortable bed. At this point, air conditioning was not noisy, which was unfortunately clearly heard in one or other hotel/Lodge. The bathroom was also beautifully clean, large care donors, not these small tubes that you feel need to fill/renew every day. Breakfast is here inclusive, which is rather rudimentary, but sufficient. Why do you need a thousand things? I usually never drink coffee, but this here tasted me well. You can in or out there breakfast. Ne nice barbecue there is also, the pool is small but fine. At 40+ ° C (June) also recommendable, water also warm. Parking is free and only a few meters and you are on the freeway (202) and comes quickly to the city or elsewhere, even if you return to the hotel. Airport is also not far, as well as car rental exit/return. Absolutely recommendable hotel, please come back.

Hotel stay was good has a issue but was solved in a timely care manner. Would stay here again for the price room was clean breakfast was good nice clean eating area. Hotel staff was very nice and mindful of my issue and was fixed quickly

When I arrived the person at the front desk could not initially find my reservation even though I had checked in with the app. She stated that I was not in the system and that they were fully booked. I proceeded to show her my confirmation number and email, I also showed her my online banking where I had the charge pending on my account. She said well you are not in the system and looked at the other receptionist and said I'm going on break. The other lady made a call and was given instructions on how to pull it up and it was then resolved after waiting 20 mins. I went to my room which was dated but clean. The room was fairly cold and I wanted to take a shower I turned on the heat to alleviate the chill and the unit started to smoke and the smoke detector sounded. Afraid it would start a fire I turned the unit off and called the front desk because the smell of smoke was filling the room. The front desk said they would send the maintenance person shortly. The maintenance guy came and checked to make sure there was no fire but advised that I should not use the heat until they were able to have it checked in the morning, and since the hotel was fully booked there was nothing he could do at the time. I was disappointed, I had only gotten the room because my flight came in late and I was too tired to safely drive home, I slept in a smoky cold dingy room all night and despite my documented experience I did not receive one courtesy call or email apology not one opportunity to turn this experience around was ever made. SMH I will stay with Hilton from here on out.

The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff was quite pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good with a variety of options. We love the free shuttle to the airport. We will stay here again soon.

We stayed for 4 nights as a golf/sun getaway. Front desk workers were very friendly and helpful, room was clean, towels were soft, breakfast was adequate. The pool area was clean with plenty of towels and the tile work in the hot tub is beautiful.

I checked in late at night after a long drive. Only here for a few hours. Lisa took such great care of me checking me in, helping me out, getting me food. It made a world of difference to me when I was weary, hungry and struggling! She is the best.

I wanted to love this place. I was so excited after I booked it, but unfortunately it was not a great stay. I also want to say that all of the employees were very nice and tried to be helpful. I think a lot of the problems lie in the concept. Is it a hotel or is it a bar/venue? We came prepared with a stock of ear plugs and a white noise machine. It didn’t do much good. I expected to be kept up a little later than usual, but I didn’t expect to be woken up early the next morning by loud, thumpy music pumping through the speakers in the courtyard bar/venue music. If you’re loud at night, it would be nice to have it be a little quieter in the morning. In addition, they didn’t seem to soundproof during the renovation. The people above us sounded like a herd of elephants between 3-5 am every night we were there. I’m not sure what they were doing up there, but it was certainly loud. Request a top floor if you decide to brave a stay. Now for something good: The location is spectacular. We were there to see a show at the Van Buren and it was a quick walk to the venue. There were also a ton of great restaurants and bars in walking distance and downtown is very close. ANNND… back to a few more gripes: It was kind of gross. It wasn’t filthy gross, but it didn’t look as if it had been recently remodeled. There was dust everywhere, bits of plastic and paper trash on the floor, and the shower head was in dire need of de-calcification. Why do I have to unscrew the lightbulbs to turn the lights out? Seriously? No switch… If I pay between $250-270 a night for a hotel, I should not have to pay $4 for a cup of coffee in the morning. It’s fine if the restaurant (the only source of coffee in the hotel) doesn’t want to give the hotel guests free coffee, but the hotel should provide coffee for their guests. I mean: you’ve kept me up late, woken me up early, AND you’re charging me $4 to get a cup of coffee (that I have to get dressed to fetch)?!?!?!?!? There should be a law against this sort of thing. While I’m on the subject: Paying the aforementioned price for a hotel should also guarantee that I don’t have to wipe my butt with 80 grit sandpaper. Some decent toilet paper would go a long way. Fellow Travelers: If you think you might want a nightcap, be prepared and put something in the fridge in your room. The bar doesn’t keep to its posted hours and the bartenders I had couldn’t always make a decent cocktail. If you’re a beer and a shot type, you’ll probably be fine. If the bar is closed you can always treat yourself to a $15 can of barely drinkable wine from the restaurant… or a $4 cup of coffee. But hey, did I mention the location?

I stayed at this lovely property in connection with a business trip and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of every aspect of the experience. The lobby is well appointed with modern furniture. Similarly, the rooms were beautiful with the hallmark comfortable Marriott bedding. I stayed in a suite which featured a barn door type partition that separated the huge garden tub from the bedroom. Even more important—-the quality of the staff. I looked forward to breakfast every morning. Not only was the food EXCEPTIONAL (you better try that waffle and THE BACON), but the staff was even more so. I looked forward to breakfast every morning where Mykayla was always so kind and attentive. She was friendly and did everything in her power to make sure that everything was done right. Additionally, Tony S. At the front desk was awesome. He was patient and kind no matter how many times I lost my key! He always had a smile and no matter how busy he was, kept the line moving efficiently. The property was adjacent to a concert facility and two sports stadiums and across the street from a Tanger Outlet. I will return!
