Our stay at Panwaburi Beachfront Resort was a mixed experience, combining breathtaking views with disappointing hygiene and service. Hygiene & Cleanliness (1/5) The hygiene was simply terrible—cobwebs in the shower, a dirty floor in the bedroom, and even the reception area was visibly unclean. The rooftop pool was in shocking condition, with discarded limes, hair, and general dirt floating in the water. Even basic facilities like the sauna weren’t functioning, and with a small crew of staff, it was difficult to find assistance. Facilities & Amenities (3/5) The hotel technically ticks the boxes for a five-star experience with a gym, sauna, and pools, but in reality, the maintenance is severely lacking. The main Instagram-famous pool with canoes is the star attraction, drawing in many visitors just for photography. If you're keen on getting good shots, it's best to go early in the morning before the crowds. Service & Convenience (2/5) We arrived around 10 PM, feeling a bit hungry, but the room service didn’t work. Thankfully, Grab was a lifesaver, but at this price point, you’d expect functional service. Scenery & Atmosphere (4/5) The views are stunning, and for social media enthusiasts, the aesthetic appeal of the pool area makes for fantastic photography. However, beyond the visuals, the experience falls short. Overall Rating: 2/5 – Style Over Substance If you're looking for a picturesque Instagram backdrop, Panwaburi Beachfront Resort might work for you. However, if you prioritize hygiene, service, and functionality, this hotel is best avoided.

The Panwaburi Beachfront Resort offers an overall positive experience, but there’s definitely room for improvement. One notable aspect is the excessive emphasis on rules and potential costs for damages, likely due to the age group the resort attracts through social media hype. It was surprising to see item values labeled in the room for lost, damaged, or stolen items—a first for me. My arrival experience was a mix of emotions. While the bellboy greeted me warmly and helped with my luggage, he accidentally left the car trunk open, which the driver almost drove off with. I had to yell to get the drivers’ attention and close the trunk myself, which left me feeling a bit uneasy. The reception area was another challenging point. It felt chaotic and overcrowded, with at least six staff members behind the counter but only two actively assisting guests. The check-in process felt rushed and transactional, and with so much going on, I couldn’t really absorb the information or many rules facility schedules being explained. That said, the resort’s main attraction—the stunning pool area showcased so beautifully on social media—lives up to the hype. It’s perfect for photos and truly gorgeous. However, to match the relaxing vibe of the pool area, I think the overall service approach could be more welcoming and calming. Additionally, the abundance of “do not” signs both inside and outside the room detracts from the relaxing atmosphere. With a few service adjustments, this resort could feel as exceptional as it looks.

A good experience. The hotel is very nice especially the swimming pools The hotel is clean. It has a small but nice beach just opposite which is really convenient. Service is top notch. We had a very nice floating breakfast. It is far away from other places even Phuket's old town. The water pressure in the washroom bidet was not controllable and was very high. Shower pressure was slow and was changing by itself. If you do not care about the location, a lovely place to stay.

It was really nice. I love the hotel so much. Unfortunately we have been there only for one knight, you have to stay there at least 3-5 knights to enjoy everything
