Playa del Ingles Hotels with Wi-Fi

We are staying in Axelbeach now for the second year in a row. It offers us everything we could want for a hotel: big and clean rooms (basically a small appartment), a beautiful and well kept garden with both shade and sun, a sizeable big pool (with always enough sunbeds for everyone), a very good breakfast (full English but with healthy options with fresh fruits and fibres, too) and all that in the middle of the day/ nightlife of Playa: 5 minutes walk from the Yumbo. One gets very good value for money here. To top this all off - the staff is very friendly and helpfull - with a personal touch. They remembered us from last year and we were welcomed back as old friends. Thank you for your warm welcome Kevin - it is much appreciated! Muchas gracias Kevin and all your colleques - for your hospitality and fine service: we will be back for sure!

This hotel was okay for room quality, but could be miles better and more organised Stayed at this hotel for a week. There were positives and negatives to my stay here. Unfortunately, most were negative Positives Rooms. Spacious, comfortable, good night sleep, quiet, nice decor, tv channel has one English news channel, but didn’t bother us much as I speak a little bit of Spanish so could watch a bit of the Spanish voice whilst getting ready to go to breakfast. Cleaned regularly. Pillows best I’ve slept on. Good location: So close to the beach. Shuttle bus to take you or the walk is 10-15 minutes and central to a lot of shops, bars and restaurants. Lovely walks too. The hotel also had a good shop on site that sold a lot. Also a hairdresser and tattoo parlour. Arcades were very good and entertaining in the hotel. Negatives Food. All inclusive was the most repetitive. I have ever seen at a hotel and the poorest quality. What you got for lunch was again served at dinner time. There was no theme at all. Pizza didn’t look like pizza and stuck to the hot tray and couldn’t pick it up even with tongs, the meat dishes were sometimes raw or didn’t look cooked. We ate in restaurants out of the hotel 3 nights out of 6. Breakfast had poor choices of hot food, but good for pastries and cereals which I was happy to eat. My friend who had eaten meat dishes had a poorly tummy for two days of our 7 day holiday. She thinks this was down to either the pool water or the food. Entertainment. Didn’t seem to last long and seemed very lacking. Some other guests: Not all, before I seem judgy and rude. A lot of guests I encountered were extremely rude towards my friend and I who were just trying to relax like most people. Had one woman in the lift who let these lads who had barged in front of us into her lift and not us when we had waited for 5 minutes for a lift itself one night, guests smoking near the shop and blowing their tobacco smoke into your face, reserving sunbeds and leaving them for hours and sometimes not even returning. Some even left their towels on overnight - absolutely unfair. A Middle aged woman splashed her leg out whilst underwater swimming which resulted me and my friend being splashed full on in the face in the pool and she didn’t even apologise. Also witnessed several children splashing other guests in the pool and whilst they were trying to sunbathe which made them angry and the parents did absolutely nothing or even apologise. Abysmal. Guests literally standing over you and breathing on you as well whilst you try and pick up your food in the food hall which I can only describe as a rat run or a school canteen. Also witnessed a family say to another family around the pool that their child had a tummy bug (D&V) and another viral infection and this child had been swimming in the pool that day? Room three negatives. My bikini bottoms went missing and I have no idea where they have gone. The last time I saw them was in our room. Never

We stayed for a whole week and had a very lovely stay. The breakfast is really nice, with a spectacular view on the ocean. The staff was very attentive during the whole stay-it was my boyfriends Birthday and they left cake and a note for us, which was very sweet. Housekeeping was excellent, Drinks and food at the poolbar very tasty. The spa is a must as well. Usually don’t write recommendations, but this Hotel and its staff really deserves it!

It is impressive how seriously the hotel takes the 3pm check in policy. The room I was given was the one on the far right and I had to walk a lot in the hotel because it's a huge hotel. There are also two flights of stairs. Didn't the front desk see me with my huge suitcase? Glad he might think I'm young. The gentlemen at the front desk are still very enthusiastic. The room is also big enough. The location of the hotel is also good. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to Yingren Beach. The hotel does not have a parking lot and needs to be parked on the side of the road. The breakfast is very rich.

This time, I booked two five-star hotels on the island, both of which are owned by riu. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages. The desert is right next to it. The sunset is particularly beautiful, and the hotel staff are also very enthusiastic. The swimming pool is a saltwater swimming pool that feels like swimming in the sea, and the room is not bad. Mine is a pair of two single beds put together. You can also note that you need a single bed. There are a complete range of food and beverages, and you really get what you pay for. The hotel is not too big, but although the sparrow is small, it has all internal organs. The only thing is that when the wind blows near the desert, a lot of sand will be blown, but it doesn't matter if you go back to the room and take a shower. There are buses and taxis outside the hotel, the transportation is convenient, there are restaurants, bars and shops everywhere, and it is a very mature place for vacation and tourism.

Firstly, you get what you pay for. I paid a 3 star price and a good 3 star hotel is what I got. I paid for the superior room which in my opinion would be a standard room in other hotels. I was happy with it. The rooms are clean & the air conditioning is excellent. Remember to close the balcony door, if you want to use the AC. The bedroom has plenty of storage/hanging space. It is quiet at night because it is at the back with an internal corridor behind it. There are blackout curtains. The beds are hard but clean. We slept ok in them. The bathroom is the best quality room as standards go. The shower is good enough. There is a good size storage drawer for your toiletries. Bring your own shampoo & soap/shower gel as they leave you sachets and the smallest of soaps. The hairdryer is powerful and there is a Spanish shaver socket. The living room is clean, basic, fresh and has a TV with 2 English channels. The kitchenette looks like it has had a facelift but if only they got a handyman back in just to straighten the unit doors, the tiniest adjustments would make this kitchen a lot better. The 2 hob modern electric hob is fast. You power it on first by touching the top right hand button it has a (-) minus sign on it. Then you touch the relevant hob button, then the (+) button to 9. That's it, it will work quickly. To switch off, touch the top right hand button again. There is not a kettle but the pan boils the water really fast. There is a coffee machine which I did not use. There are no cereal bowls. I took my own plastic ones anyway. The balcony is a good size. It has an airer to dry your clothes. We were in room 403 which is at the far end. It almost overlooks the roundabout. I didn't mind it at all. There are not any usb sockets and there are not many plug sockets. We took a small extension lead. The housekeeping is good and came everyday but Sunday. All the staff in the hotel are friendly and helpful. The pool is warm. Whilst we were there nobody reserved sunbeds so we were always able to grab a couple whatever time we went to use the pool. I cannot comment on the food as we did not eat there. The location is good. It is next to a roundabout where you can get buses to everywhere. It is also next door to the Cita Centre. There are supermarkets all over the place. The beach and main beach area is a gentle 10 minutes walk.

It was a pleasure to stay here again. Excellent service from arrival to departure. Staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean with modern furniture and with all amenities you may need. They were very comfortable, and with the intense heat, the air-con provided a welcome relief. Free WiFi worked perfectly. The hotel restaurant had a great buffet breakfast and continental breakfast. Great times no reservations straight through till 11am. The waiters were amazing, some members having been there for a very long time. Dinner in the evening right through till 22.00pm - amazing. The pool and facilities were amazing, comfortable sun loungers with built in pillows and large blue beach towels. The hotel is located very close to the airport approximately 35 min. There is a free shuttle service from and to the airport, for stays of 10 days or more and I really appreciate that it is included. I would recommend this hotel for pleasure trips. Was made to feel like a member of the Neptuno family

We had a lovely time and was a pleasure to be there. The hotel is very friendly and the staff can’t do enough for you. The food is excellent and steaks are cooked for you as are other foods, a great selection. The position of the hotel 150 yards from beach and is ideally situated to all amenities.

The beds were very uncomfortable or I would of returned to the hotel the beds moved on wheels and were very squeaky even if moved slightly , I did mention but they didn’t seem bothered , also the family pool bar staff never acknowledged you standing there just ignored you whilst putting out glasses we were all inclusive and hardly had any drinks the children’s entertainment staff were excellent but not much in kids club going on location was ok needed a bus though
