Smooth check in with jet2 at airport. Transfers used Zarza Taxis Mallorca, arrived at hotel under an hour, upon booking with Zarza Taxis communication was excellent & driver were fantastic throughout. Upon arrival of hotel we was able to check in early at mid day. Snacks by the pool side bar were fantastic. Kids buffet & the dessert selection in the evening was disappointing, fed up of seeing pasta & pizza. No vegetables what so ever on the buffets. Breakfast was good offering English breakfast, crepes, fruit, cereals & churros. All inclusive drinks was good too, only issue was how big the queueing got sometimes at the pool bar. Shame there wasn’t a help yourself to fizzy drinks & slush, which would lower the queues. Really disappointed with the food variety in general. Park on site for the kids, mine really enjoyed. Foam party was really good on Thursday. My kids absolutely loved it. Kids club wasn’t the best, offering colouring, painting and connect 4 - wasn’t much of a variety of things to do for the little ones. We had to get up early to reserve beds as i personally don’t think there was enough for the amount of guests staying at hotel. My kids absolutely loved the splash park. Pool temperature of the big pool was nice and refreshing. The kids disco didn’t start til 8:45pm which was we think is too late. The music was very loud in the night and went on until 11:45pm. Cleaners were always around the hotel cleaning. Families smoking around the pool, being a non smoker obviously we didn’t like this. Electric went on 2nd day in our room, It kept tripping, luckily had a fuse box in our room and sorted ourselves. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels, air con was shocking and barely felt anything. We had to pay €23.50 to use a safe in our room which should be included within the price. The room always smelt of sewerage for some reason in the afternoon. Storage was fine for 3 of us with 3 large cases and 3 cabin cases. The generator outside our balcony was noisy. Spa - had a back and neck massage, was absolutely amazing. Facilities at the spa was fantastic. Checking out offered continental breakfast, despite us being allowed to use all inclusive facilities barely anything to eat on check out for 6:30am, the hotel needs to be making guests aware of this .

Stayed for a week as a family of 3. Quite a mixture of positives and negatives with this hotel in my opinion. Positives: Entertainment day and night is fantastic, perfect for children and Roberto was amazing. Very nice pool and splash park for kids. Upgraded to all inclusive whilst we were there and found the restaurant nice with something for everyone. Location of hotel is perfect, just a few minutes walk to the beach and shops directly across the road. Negatives: The room we stayed in was very small and basic with minimal storage space. Cleanliness of the room was not great, towels changed daily and beds made but didn’t seem to sweep or clean the floor once (very dirty under the beds). Bathroom wasn’t cleaned during our stay either. The staff in particular the reception staff were not very welcoming and seemed quite miserable. Although we don’t like doing it you have to rush down for a subbed early especially if you want a parasol too. We didn’t have a bad stay at this hotel but wouldn’t be back as it definitely needs some improvements.

so I’m going to try and make this a balanced review. PP is absolutely stunning and on reflection it’s the place that brought us back this year rather than this hotel. I fell in love with PP last year when we came, so when the Pollença park and spa came up on our holiday search again for this year I happily decided to return. The chance for an upgraded room for only a slight increase in price seemed like too good an offer to miss. The updated rooms are an improvement with the new walk in shower and lots of storage in the bathroom, however the same issue with water temp at some parts of the day stilll remain. Decor of the overall room was good but the rooms are very short on space when 3 are sharing. Having read previous reviews re the storage issue I came well prepared with over door storage rack, airer for balcony and additional travel rail to hang stuff. This should absolutely not be needed though in a 4 star hotel and quite frankly the space planner/architect should be sacked as there is a real lack of clever storage options in these new rooms. More style over substance really. Note to management, the rooms need hooks on walls behind the doors and this would really help the storage issue. Our room was facing the road and mountains on the 2nd floor, to be honest we were not impressed when we first arrived due to not being able to hear ourselves think on the balcony. The noise from the restaurant generator is deafening and since it runs from 4:30AM right up to 10PM, it made it impossible to enjoy any time on the balcony. We had the offer to move rooms but not until later the next day so we did stay put. Luckily we are not light sleepers. We found the hotel had gone a little downhill in terms of cleanliness this time round. The maid did not clean our floor once and didn’t touch the balcony. A quick wipe of the loo, beds made and fresh towels were left if we requested them. She left some cleaning chemicals in our bathroom by mistake mid week and they are probably still there now!!! Hallways and pool areas looked tired most of the time and in need of some maintenance. I agree with another poster that said there seems to be a staffing issue as only one bar was open at any one time meaning you couldn’t get a good coffee at the inside bar during the day and the queues were ridiculous. I am afraid the hotel is falsely advertising the facilities on offer when it says there are 3 bars, as only one is open at any one time and the splash bar was never open. The food is absolutely fine and always something on offer for even the pickiest eater, personally loved the salad options, again, and the same as last year, people were queuing like a canteen instead of dipping in and out to get what they wanted. The fruit flies around the drinks pumps really put me off this year and also noticed that the back of the glass storage in the restaurant under the drinks machines was filthy with some sort of brown liquid leaking down onto a white piece of material. Huge qu

Summarise observations on the hotel and not the resort as follows which if fixed could make a huge difference; Queues for bar in the main due to a lack of staff Dirty tables with empty glasses which were infrequently removed or cleaned General Management were visible during the day, but not in the evening when the bar was busy, or entertainment was on Air conditioning in main building of the hotel was inadequate

My husband, a regular visitor to Mallorca to cycle, has stayed at this hotel several times in the past (out of peak season) and recommended we visit as a family. Our experience as a family was not so good. Positives = location is good, most of the staff were friendly, food was good and plentiful, rooms themselves were clean. Negatives = rooms were small, corridors outside rooms were dirty, sunbeds were in short supply unless you did like many and got up at a ridiculous hour to put towels down, lifts slow and regularly out of order which is far from ideal when it's hot and you're on the 8th floor and a couple of the staff were very rude with one particular member of staff we had an encounter with on the last day (someone called Vanessa) being very rude bordering on hostile/aggressive. Manager said she'd instigate an investigation into our complaint about her. If she does, we'd be interested in knowing the outcome. Reported incident to Jet2 in any event. Would we go back there again? No probably not, definitely not peak season anyway.

Unfortunately I was fooled with the high ratings and did not expect so low level from the 4 star hotel. I have stayed at different all inclusive and HB hotels in different countries, and this is the worst experience I ever had and the first time I want to write a bad review. (and this is not the lowest price I have paid) Writing it at 4 am as nor me nor my son can sleep due to the noise outside of the our room that is made by the restaurant or the hotel air conditioning system that our room window is facing. The noise never stops. The endless humming, clearly audible even with the windows closed, especially at night, and that makes the stay in the room like a torture. it is even louder the bar in front of the hotel, where live performances happen daily till the midnight (one more thing to mention). We were rejected to change the room and feel like hostages as this is a package holiday, counting days till the end. The food is basic, canteen ventilation is not working properly and you smell the smoke when get in as the food is fried in the open kitchen during breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is the place you want to leave as soon as get in, very noisy and smelly, staff throwing the dishes and forks to the carts right next to people eating - adding even more noise. All drinks are from the machines and so called juices have no taste, even my kid did not want to drink it, but no other options during the breakfast available for kids. Taste of the coffee from the machine is also very bad. Two bars are mentioned in the description, but never seen two of them working at the same time, there were always queues, and no way to drink something in a lobby during the day, while hiding from the heat (maybe working hours are tricky, but I have always seen the sign that bar is not working). When you order a cocktail at the pool - barmen goes somewhere behind the bar and immediately brings something in the glass, this is scary as not clear what is in and where from. Snacks at the pool bar (part of “all inclusive”) - bread, ham and cheese, nothing else I’ve seen there. So it is a high risk not to get even basic level of comfort in this hotel and spoil the whole holiday if come here.

Family time holiday for 5 adults and 3 young children. Great family hotel it is very clean with lots going on for kids. Not sure there would be anything to entertain teenagers. Entertainment finished at 11pm so not noisy at night. The food is amazing and the restaurant very organised and efficient. The hotel is very close to a lovely beach which is E14 per day for a bed and umbrella. The only criticism would have to be the sun bed issue with the usual problem of people out early to grab and save beds. It really is time there was a system to overcome this issue personally we don’t get into sun bed wars. Great for families with young children. If you want quiet and peaceful this is not the hotel for you.

We’ve stayed here before and we were hoping for a sea view bungalow-with access to the beach, instead we were given a pool facing apartment ( no 8). Initially we we a bit put off, but the apartment was fab! The balcony was a sun-trap and even though it was a one bed apartment it was really spacious. The cleanliness of the apartments and complex is 10/10. The cleaning team are a credit. My only gripe is the sunbeds and people claiming them by putting towels on and not even using them! Some people put towels on around 7:30 and didn’t use them while late afternoon despite signs up around the pools. If you want decent food go to the Galleon excellent food and well priced.
