This family-friendly eco-hotel is located in a rustic setting amidst the untouched nature of the northeast of Sao Miguel Island. It is wonderfully situated and affords outstanding views out over the sea and the exclusive Serra da Tronqueira. Enchanting beaches and glorious hiking trails can be found in the surrounding area. The centre of Vila do Nordeste can be reached in around 1 minute on foot, it is about 10 km to the Miradouri da Ponta da Madrugada viewpoint, and Vila Franca do Campo lies some 50 km from the hotel. Established in 2002, the hotel consists of a main building with 3 floors and 2 annexe blocks with a total of 25 rooms. Amongst the hotel's facilities count a foyer with 24-hour reception, a safe, a currency exchange facility, and lift access. A café, a bar, a TV room, an air-conditioned restaurant with highchairs available for children, a conference room, and public Internet access are also to be found within the hotel.
