Staff were friendly enough until we had a problem in the room. Tv not working and the manager asks” are you going to be annoyed if this doesn’t work” not quite what we expected to hear on our first visit ended up having to fix it ourselves

Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was okay, perhaps the portion could have been a bit bigger. Inside the pub looking tired, needs repainting and furniture updating.

It was a very convenient spot for us, and good value, for catching the ferry from Cairnryan. We let the hotel know that we were going to be late arrivals, and they made arrangements to ensure that we had everything we needed when we arrived in the evening. The rooms were nice and clean; and the breakfast in the morning was very good and quick - we were grateful for the allocated time for breakfast to manage everyone coming down at once.

Just back from a quick break at this lovely hotel. This place offers a clean, pretty and happy stay without being overpriced or pretentious in any way. Very friendly professional staff. The room is clean with lots of comfy bedding and all facilities. There is a lovely quiet garden at the back, which my two year old loved, a welcoming bar and a lovely view from the rooms and the restaurant. We will absolutely be back!
