Ferraris Country House Hotel

We visited as part of a wedding party, I felt the place looked quite tired and could do with a refreshing investment, the event food service and quality could have been better, I got up in the morning to still find waste from the night before scattered both inside and outside the venue.

This was our second stay at Ferraris. This family run business, is like a very nice home from home. The family were lovely, helpful and friendly. The atmosphere, just wraps itself around you, making you feel comfortable and relaxed. Highly recommend staying here.

Booked a 60th birthday meal. There were 20 people attending. The food was delicious with a great choice available. All served up by helpful, friendly, courteous staff. Very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend for any celebration meals.

Fabulous afternoon, thank you. Great menu choice, 7 diners, every meal was delicious and tasty, generous servings,. Homemade desserts which were 10/10. Excellent service with a smile. Beautiful hotel with spectacular gardens Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

“'This review is intended to be objective and constructive. Firstly, the good points: A lovely building with fantastic grounds and an enormous terrace. Friendly staff. Now, unfortunately, the problems: Flies! Maybe the time of year, but there were flies all over - I think they enjoyed the food as much as we did. Also, in our room, there was an infestation of tiny black flies which I had to attack before putting the light out. Reception. A bit like a dinghy large cupboard, and usually unmanned. The room keys were on a large wooden fob, almost too large to go in a pocket. Very 1960s. Breakfast was poor. Yes, full English available, but no muesli, no weetabix, the granola seemed to run out as there was none on day 3, no fruit, either fresh or other. On two of our three days there was no white sugar, and pots of jam dumped on a table without a receptacle to take to your table. I went down to the bar on day 2 at 9.25pm. The bar was shuttered, as was Reception. Just had to drink water! Our room. Overlooked the car park, and had the smallest TV I've ever come across in a hotel. About the size of a laptop. The tiny bathroom had a loose loo seat, a damaged cord to the basin light, and a filthy, mouldy step up to the shower. These problems were reported - the loo seat was fixed, but a new cord to the light came away at it's first test. We were given a reduction to what we paid, but these problems should not happen in a 3* hotel. A makeover is badly needed as it could be such a lovely hotel. Obviously very popular with wedding groups, but for those staying there - Hmmmm!'”

Ferrari by name only - we booked for one night whilst visiting friends in Longridge however we were expecting something decent for the price we paid, which was double that being advertised on Trip Advisor. Room was dated, very old dull furniture and an average breakfast. Grounds are nice and there is plenty of parking, that’s about as good as it gets. Top tip, check a few reviews before booking. This place is in desperate need of updating.

Celebrating mum and das 60th Wedding Anniversary the only place to go was Ferraris as it is a great family orientated establishment. They were brilliant. Food excellent. Staff Brilliant. Weather was also in our favour. So many wonderful memories made today x 💖

This is an individual hotel which offers a lovely welcoming friendly atmosphere, positioned off the road and surrounded by the most amazing gardens. The staff are attentive, engaging and compassionate about their hotel and have a lively sense of humour that makes you feel both welcome and comfortable immediately. The food is good. Very generous portions, and the full English breakfast is superb. The rooms are clean and the bed is comfortable. It is a great place to explore the area and I would thoroughly recommend the Ferraris Country Hotel if you are looking for a relaxing, personal experience

This place is amazing. My wife and I stayed a night here because we were exploring nearby sites associated with my ancestors. It was the off season (early November), so there were only a few other people there. It felt like we had an enormous estate practically to ourselves. The room was very spacious and very nice--far better than I was expecting given the affordable price. The grounds were very beautiful and the views from the room were amazing. (It seems the main purpose for this place is weddings and large events.) Parking was super simple and breakfast (included) was excellent. We ate dinner there also, which was affordable and excellent. The only real drawback of this place is that it is remote, though that's also what makes it great.
