WORSE THAN THIS!! Extremely disappointing stay, unworthy of a 4 star. I booked 2 double rooms (declared as attic) for 4 days after Christmas (100% advance payment on ***********). Upon arrival we verified that one of the two had a tub that was unusable (except when lying down) as it was located on the low side of the room (110 cm!). For 3 of the 4 days, there was no hot water at "peak" times, meaning only cold water came out of the shower and taps. On the first day they made the excuse of a technical fault with the boiler, which could be resolved in half an hour, for which among other things we were not even notified. In the following days, pointing out that the hot water had still been absent for 2 hours, we were even accused of telling lies by the manager! After various complaints with the reception, everything was reported to the reservation center who promptly called me to make me a proposal (in their opinion) "compensation" for the damage suffered: 2-night stay (of which one additional to what was booked) at their "premium" Cortina property, plus free drinks. Not being able to extend the holiday by a further day for work reasons, having already paid for the ski pass for the days of stay, I rejected the proposal and instead asked for a discount on the price of the rooms. I was granted a paltry 10% (equivalent to less than €89) as long as I signed a waiver in which I promised not to make any complaints! I also rejected this proposal, bordering on ridiculous, considering it a mockery. On the phone, the reservations call center manager concluded by saying "do whatever you want!". "Special" mention for the hotel manager: he never bothered to respond to the complaints of a family of 4 who only asked for compliance with the minimum level of (hygienic) services required of a hotel (of 1 star...?). Grumpy and rude, incapable of listening to the customer but only concerned with justifying the inadequacies of the structure towards third parties (the diesel supplier for example) or even the bad faith of the customer himself! Never an excuse! Further ideas for "improvement": - Entrance and reserved parking are frozen: they didn't even bother to throw in a little salt to avoid dangerous slips for pedestrians. - Poor room service: waits between the first and second course of almost an hour. Check the drinks charge at check out as they are inaccurate and have charged extra alcohol that has never been consumed (not just us). Tarts for breakfast that are a few days old, strudel for dessert for dinner, inedible. - Cost for pre-check-in luggage storage: €10 (never seen in a 4-star structure!) - Check-in: after 4pm, with possible early check-in at an additional cost of €35.
