Very musty smelling and mattress was rock hard. Probably from 1970.

We've stayed here a number of times as we traveled I-15 and have always been pleased. Not so much this time. The exterior of the building was being refurbished, so the main entrance was closed. We had to use an end entrance with tight stairs and fences. The luggage carts couldn't make the "corner turn", so I had physically lift it off the ground to turn it to get it in the door. Would have been nice if they had provided smaller, more manageable carts. The hotel was understaffed in comparison to previous visits. Instead of multiple people at the desk, there was one stressed woman to deal with a line of check-ins. I spoke about the lack of staff and she shrugged and said that was a management decision. The room was okay. The only highlight is that they have retained the "breakfast maven" who provides good food and good cheer in the morning. We didn't go back there on our return trip and I'm not sure what we'll do in the future.

Bed was awful to sleep on and hot water for shower was limited. Worst Hampton facility I have stayed at. It’s only saving grace was the nice staff.

I really feel the management should instruct cleaning staff to turn ON the A/C and to keep the air going when people check out. Rooms amelled musty because thermostat was set way way high and fan was off (2 rooms, 2 floors). Trust me, you aren’t saving anything by doing that.
Bathroom is good.
Common areas need repair badly.
Elevator needs a tune up (slow, jolting).

We had to check in very late/early in the morning and our front desk check in was very smooth and friendly! Comfortable, clean room for a quick overnight stay.
