Family-friendly Hotels in Qingdao

Good service and great customer care. Good breakfast and help us to call taxi when we going back to airport. We very happy about their service overall. Room is clean

It’s an old fashioned hotel, clean and cozy. The location is perfect for visiting May 4th square and for walking around the beach line. Overall it’s a good place for staying in Qingdao. P.S. We didn’t really understand why we had to ask to change our bedsheets when they are supposed to be changed every night. During our stay they changed once and on our request (but didn’t change the pillow cases IDK why lol 😆) so this part was a bit confusing TBH.

A great place to stay. Always feel welcome here. You can relax, but the lobby is always so busy. It's conveniently located, close to lots of important landmarks. We only discovered how convenient it was after the first night. It was a pleasure coming back via the metro.

We were there for my wife birthday, the location was amazing and most of things were great ( we had a minor problems with bed and pillow) but the rest of things were wonderful. front desk staff were very kind and helpful.they sent a beautiful cake along with nice message to our room from hotel management and made a memorable moment for us. The hotel breakfast was perfect as well ,western and Chinese food were available.we recommend this hotel to our friends.

A great location for a holiday trip. There was plenty to do. The hotel amenities had something for everyone. I wished the outdoors pools and grounds were unkept a little more. On the way to the beach the boardwalk was destroyed. The building is a little old and could use some updating for the rooms but they staff works hard to keep things clean, orderly, and organized. Staff were very helpful from Check-in to checkout. Food options were plentiful. And the view was amazing.

Came to visit during low season, hotel price is reasonable. The hotel is nice, great view, all staffs are very friendly and helpful, especially my room manager ike 小張, who provided excellent services and made my stay very pleasant. Breakfast has a wide range of selection. Hotel is right next to one of the beaches, and is about 10-20mins drive from most famous sightseeing areas and qingdao railway station. Hotel also offered a complementary ticket for the sky observation at the next door building, it is quite interesting and worth a go.

I had an absolutely fantastic experience during my stay at Holiday Inn Express HuangDao. From the moment I arrived, the team went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and comfortable. A special thank you to Frank, the hotel manager, for his warm hospitality and attention to detail. It was clear he genuinely cares about every guest's experience. The check-in process was smooth, and I was greeted by Eric, Suzy, and Eva at the front desk. They were all incredibly friendly, professional, and efficient. Their helpfulness made settling in a breeze, and they were always available for your needs. My room was spacious, modern, and had all the amenities I could ask for. The housekeeping team did a great job of keeping everything spotless during my stay. The location of the hotel is perfect, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, shopping mall and 24 hours grocery shops are just few steps away from hotel. Plus, the on-site dining was excellent—breakfast each morning was a delicious start to the day and most attraction for me is the self service coffee maker at hotel lobby, thats make my very day fully charge after a cup of double espresso. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Thank you again to Frank, Eric, Suzy, Eva, and the entire staff for making my trip so memorable.

Another wonderful stay! The service as always was excellent, and we enjoyed all the facilities including the swimming pool, sauna, and plunge pool. Although we booked a room with a city view, they gave us a room with a Seaview and we were able to see the sunrise and had direct access to the beach. I went running along the front through the park and we saw the sun over the sea and the moon over the opposite mountains.

I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel again. I stayed here for the first time a year ago in June for Dragon Boat Festival and it was fantastic. So I decided to stay here for May 1st holidays. Unfortunately that turned out to be a huge mistake. During the day in Qingdao during this time the weather is good between 22-25 degrees Celsius but still cold at night between 13-15 degrees. For me the heat needs to be on but to my horror there was no heat, only cold air. So I ended up getting sick. On top of that it didn't matter if it was breakfast or dinner, the buffet food was cold. The only hot food was something made in front of you like an omlet. Even before I found out all this, when I got to my room it wasn't what I paid for. I paid for the multi-level suite. I still had a suite but I have no idea if the cost was at least the same and I didn't care for it. The bed was great though but even with another blanket on top didn't keep me warm enough with no heat at night. 😓

A great location to stay. Many places to visit are closer to the hotel. And it feels like home. The surrounding is quiet at night. Or even peaceful. But many things are shown that it has been renewed somewhat while ago. You can see wear and tear. The tv in the room doesn’t support 4K. I felt like I moved back to the 20th century. The crews of the hotel are helpful and showed me hospitality. So do I have a plan to sleep there again? It’s complicated.
