This is not your top five-star hotel, if that's what you're after. I've seen much better ones. BUT, I somehow had the best swimming beach vacation since 1975 at this hotel. Problems: 1) worn-out towels: 2) no clothing cupboard; 3) no bathrobes; 4) smallish room size; 5) noone speaks English at the check-in desk 6) no in-room safe. Havingg said that, I REALLY enjoyed a simple swimming beach vacation at this holiday. They clean up my room when I asked them to; They don't bother you when you're there; they're friendly when you check in or out. And there's a common refrigerator at the check-in desk if you really need to have your food to be preserded for a couple of days. One problem: DIDi cars have a hard time accessing you: the road outside the Hoel is pretty much heavily-used, so get ready to facing difficulties when getting to your DIDI ride... Overall, a very positive outlook. Will definitely come again Positives: 1) Great Location. Right on the Bathing Beach 1; 2) Helpful Destk Sfuff; 3) Located In the best Qingdao historical area of Badaguan; 4) near the best Qingdao sea food restaurants; 5) you'll get the best of the sun and ocean vacation overall. Took the kids to the city and stayed for one night. Snacks were given upon check-in. The hotel is right at the sea, not far from the pier, and parking is convenient. The room was clean, the breakfast was rich, and you could see the sea while having breakfast. There was a mini bar in the wooden room with free drinks and biscuits. However, in the city, the area and windows of the wooden room are slightly small. If conditions permit, you can book a larger room and take a walk nearby at night. The night view is also good!

The comfort level is good, the atmosphere is good, the environment is very good, the surrounding facilities are also very complete, it is very convenient to go anywhere you want to play, the Mixc is nearby, you can go shopping when it rains, and you can borrow an umbrella when it rains, but you need to deposit 100, but it will not be collected, it will be refunded when you return the umbrella. Two cards will be given when you check in, the room card and the electricity card are separate, which is very convenient. You can insert the electricity card in the room and go out, because you need to swipe the room card to take the elevator, so even if there are two people and there are people in the room, remember to bring the room card! Haitian is not my first hotel that I stayed arriving into Qingdao. I stayed at the Westin and Shangri-La. By far, Haitian is the best hotel that I’ve experienced over these 3 hotels. From checkin to the rooms and amenities. Jack was the one checked me in. Service was excellent. He has given me all the information upon checkin and also he has kept me informed on the weather and making sure I had a comfortable stay. I really did have a great stay at this hotel and will definitely recommend to my friends in the future. Keep the great work Jack. Thank you for making my stay a memorable one.

My mother & I stayed here overnight as we had a quick layover in Qingdao; however, I wish we could’ve stayed here longer because the services & amenities were wonderful! The lovely front desk & lobby employees were very knowledgeable and went above & beyond to make our experience as positive as possible. Check in was very smooth & they also helped answer any questions we had. After a long day of traveling, being greeted so kindly was absolutely appreciated. In tandem with this, one lobby employee went above & beyond to help bring our stuff to our room; although we did not catch her name, her humility was very heartwarming. In addition to this, our room was very clean and items like towels & slippers were all clearly disinfected. They also provided amenities that we utilized such as free laundry, water, and bathroom items that contributed to a comfortable stay. In the morning, we also had breakfast here which was phenomenal. Once more, the staff was extremely helpful & the food was fantastic. I wouldn’t think to stay anywhere else next time we come back to Qingdao!

It is really convenient to choose tourist accommodation near Wusi Square, whether traveling or going to Internet celebrity attractions. The hotel facilities are very new and the mattresses are very comfortable, but the bedding in the room is very wavy. What I didn't expect was that there are two different types of pillows, which is very considerate. The hotel's service is very attentive. Miss Xiao Lei at the front desk is very gentle and considerate. Although there was a little incident before check-in, the manager handled it well. The only drawback is that the curtains have a medium shading effect, but overall the experience is still very good.

Really great location and the amenities include a kitchenette and washing machine which was really helpful. The hotel is a short walk from the metro and is nested in a residential building, there are three separate receptions for different hotels in the building all on the ground floor. Couldn't really connect to the smart home systems due to not having a Chinese number but it's a common problem across China. The reception team is friendly and there is luggage storage post check out.

Great location for the Olympic park and boat trips. The apartment was super clean and we had suite on the 27th floor with stunning views of Qingdao city. The only drawbacks were the room wasn’t cleaned properly after our first night. They didn’t give us new cups after the first night. We had to used the same cutlery.

The hotel is in a prime location, with an elegant and comfortable environment. The staff has a high level of service quality, and they are very attentive from the front desk, restaurant, and cleaning. The 30-square-meter twin room is enough for a family of three, which is beyond expectations. There is a long storage sofa at the entrance, which is convenient for placing luggage and carry-on items. You can also sit and change shoes, and hang clothes on it. The washbasin is very practical and long, and can hold a lot of toiletries. There are sofas, coffee tables, desks, and tea tables by the window, which are very functional. In addition, the most convenient thing is that all the sockets are equipped with type-c charging ports, which meet the needs of multiple people to plug in. If you stay in Atour in the future, you don't need to carry a charger. There are too many things to praise, such as Atour's self-produced honey black tea, which can be drunk and taken away for free. The restaurant's meals are simple but delicious. There are also children's souvenirs, small toys, etc. at the exit of the restaurant. The overall evaluation is great, the experience is very comfortable and perfect, and I have become an Atour gold member, and I can participate in various promotions in the future!

This is a mixed review for me. On one hand, we paid for a Seaview that had a building blocking 80% of our view. When we asked to change rooms, they gave us a run around and told us to deal with it. We contacted ctrip, and quickly got a room with a better view. From that point they were pretty kind and courteous. Afterwards, we went to the Hawaiian BBQ restaurant that is affiliated with the hotel. We could only stay there an hour as they were closing. My girlfriend and I had one beer apiece, along with two plates of cold kebabs as they didn’t want to heat anything else. We would have eaten more, but there was no food. When the bill came, it was 572. That was surprising to say the least. Throughout the days to come, we realize that all of the restaurants were quite expensive. So when we looked at their room service selection, we were happy as it appeared to be less expensive. Each meal, we bought no more than 300 worth. And we only ate four times while we were there. The bill came out to 4300. I don’t know where their additional expenses came from. The hotel offered quite a few amenities, but we were busy exploring the city. Please not they have very slow room service. However, besides our initial interaction, all of the staff were kind and warm, It is therefore that I say that it was a mixed review. And I hope that this helps someone when deciding to stay.
