從北門自駕很方便，進景區後盤山路不是太遠，離濟心寺很近，住下後第二天開始遊玩，因為大部分遊客從東門進，這時還到不了寺廟，很清凈，體驗很好。

訂房時前台告知受之前暴雨影響景區夜場取消了，早晚冷觀日落日出要準備厚外套。自駕到祖山風景區北門售票處報訂房人姓名即可領到景區門票和全程景交車票，然後沿山路行駛到酒店門口，山路並不太難走，前台服務員在門口迎接，告知朝陽面的房間尚未打掃出來（上午到的），背陽面的陰冷潮濕，讓先去遊玩一下入住。朝陽的房間果然非常温暖。前台購買的纜車票不僅有優惠而且住宿期間可無限次乘坐。山上餐飲店極少，可在酒店解決三餐，明碼標價量足。美中不足是衞生間地面留有較多青絲，且沒有乾濕分離，衞生紙放置位置不恰當，如廁時無法取用必須事先取出，淋浴時稍不慎就被弄濕了。建議在衞生間裝上擋水條和浴簾，並提供客房面巾抽紙，操作容易成本不高但可提高酒店層級。

房間很乾凈，住在山上的感覺特別好，早上看日出，晚上看日落，空氣清新。晚上的夜景也特別美。半夜還能看到滿天的星辰，太值得了。
