Surroundings: The environment outside the hotel is very good, there is a large circle of walking paths and shades, there are not many cars, suitable for running and walking. Walk for five minutes to Biluo Tower, go at 8 o'clock in the morning, the store inside is basically not open. Suitable for going at night, Beidaihe is not easy to take a taxi near Biluo Tower at night, you can walk back directly when you live here. There are a lot of takeaways here, everything is sold, there are many restaurants open after 12 o'clock in the evening, and they can be sent directly to the hotel front desk. Disadvantages: As a seaside hotel, there should be no plastic slippers. The store on the first floor of the hotel sells but the price is more expensive. We later took out a few pairs. The check in was very lengthy, but everyone was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and spacious and have everything you need inside. The quality of the shampoo..... are very nice. Unfortunately my mum got sick during our stay and we had to book an extra room and added a few nights and they were very accommodating. The location of the hotel is great and a short walk away from the restaurants, shops and beach.

It was my husband birthday and booked Shangri-la, It was very clean and have a stunning view. The room has a nice smell. The reception was very cheerful, and they all could speak English. I requested a birthday theme for my husband's birthday and they designed the room with some towel, also send a free cake and red wine. ( I have to mention, Thank you dears) The breakfast was very delicious. We also tried the Buffet dinner one night, it was very delicious with both choices Chinese and Western. The swimming pool was clean.

The staff of Qinhuangdao Maoye Holiday Hotel was very enthusiastic. They arranged a great sea view room for us. We could see the marathon track downstairs, and they also sent us fruits. They also extended the check-out time to 4pm for the guests participating in the Qinhuangdao Marathon. In particular, the beautiful lady at the front desk greeted the little sailor. Great location and great rooms including the fitness center. However, the staff were terrible. On the first day they gave us a room which had dirty tissue paper at the toilet area still there. After complaining they changed our room and while one of us were in the shower they mistanenly gave our room key to another guest who then tried to enter our room. They compensated us with free breakfast but such an error was not expected at a Marriott hotel in the first place. Very disappointing. It also felt like the staff didn't really care the whole time with a very emotionless style of talking. Unfortunate.
