Good food , good nature, good rooms, well maintained, two pools are there, so many adventures activities, zipline, Roap cycle s amazing, big parking area and surrounded by compound safety s good, trekking s there mornings, indoor n outdoor games very good

Food is not good at all. Cafeteria is fully un- hygienic, tables are not clean , everywhere cockroaches. Also half of the activities are non-functioning. There is shortage of staff /instructors . Complete wastage of money and time . Place is so beautiful but not managed properly.

After watching the impressive video in YouTube about this resort, our group of 20 planned a day visit to Amegundi Resort. It is almost 2.5hours drive from Bangalore considering the bad road right till Kanakapura. There are no direction boards to reach the resort. Google maps and the very helpful villagers provide the direction. When we reached the place after a long tiring drive and relaxing in the reception area, we were surprised to see a large group of 150+ people entering the resort. After some time the loud music with rain dance started, which spoiled our mood since we wanted to have a relaxing day in greenery. The loud music didn't stop till we were there in the resort. No one was wearing mask including the resort staff. Forget about social distancing!! In the actual resort, there is not much greenery except the private farm of the owner. The resort is like any other concrete structure with a kind of amphi theatre and few games. When we spoke to few people who stayed overnight at the resort informed us that rooms and toilets are not cleaned. Lunch was a disaster, since the unprofessional service staff were not equipped to manage 200+ people in the restaurant. Food was running out immediately as they were brought to the Buffet table. None of us could have proper food for lunch. The snacks and fruits we carried saved us! It is not a professionally run place and you cannot call this as a resort. The rest rooms are not maintained at all. This resort is only for large groups who don't give importance to hygiene. The resort owners take bookings more than the resort capacity. It was overcrowded on the Sunday we visited. Don't ever plan to visit this resort as a family. The road to Kanakapura from Bangalore is in horrible shape with numerous potholes all ***** the way. It is a single road in most of the stretch and difficult/ dangerous to overtake slow moving vehicles. Horrible roads with horrible service at the resort will definitely spoil your weekend, if you ever dare to visit this resort!

I had the fortune and misfortune of visiting this Good Picturesque Resort on Oct 2nd, a Public Holiday, Beautiful ambience, picturesque and excellent facilities. But the worst part was the restaurant and Food made available, i would give a mark of minus zero to the Food and menu. If this Resort has to make a name and fame, Chef and the quality of food being served needs to be addressed immediately, if not, this resort is next in the pipeline to get masked and lost in the dark. Rest otherwise, due to the public holiday, it was running full house. no comments!!
