Nice location between city center and train station. Respectful for the nature with a bird sing and nice garden. Friendry staff and nice buffet court.

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights at the end of April-early May 2024. I highly recommend this hotel. It has a great location -- about .4 miles from the train station and about an equal distance in the other direction to Old Town, Parc du Thabor, and other places you'll want to see. My wife enjoyed the buffet breakfast. The staff was very helpful. Our room was clean. Lots of restaurants nearby. Rennes is a beautiful university town with a great Saturday market; it was a highlight of our 17-day trip to Brittany and Normandy.

Hotel sympa , il est à coté de la gare, la chambre était bien, les lits confortables. Le personnel très aimable et souriant.Le petit déjeuner est très bien, il y avait beaucoup de choix et c'était plutôt bon, avec même du jus d'orange frais! Hotel avec un excellent rapport qualité-prix.

Stayed here at the first stop to Ryan. Because the train arrived very late, the hotel is facing the train station, it is really convenient! 🔔 Service: Because of the trip with the baby, the staff chose a room with a Star Wars pattern. I expected so much more out of this big chain hospitality company. But, sadly, like many of these big companies, they try to cut as many corners as possible. Here are some pros and cons: Pros: The location is excellent. The hotel is sort of tucked away from the main street so it is very quiet. Also, it is not too far from public transit. Both bus and metro stops are very close and easily reachable by foot. The main lobby itself was relatively clean. Cons: The front desk staff was just okay - they were not rude by any means, but not overly friendly either. They were just...there. The only coffee they had in the room was horrible instant coffee. Then, they charge you 2.50 Euros for an espresso that uses a pod. I have stayed in many, many hotels in Europe (smaller boutique hotels with smaller budgets) that provided a machine with pods in my room. Those that have not provided a machine have never charged me for one espresso. I am sure had I made a habit of it, they would have charged. But seriously, 2.50 for one pod of espresso? Mercure can pony up. We are also convinced the cleaning staff did not properly clean our room. There was something on the ground that sat there for days in the bathroom. We saw it after the first day thinking it was strange it was still there. As a test, we left it there (it was a door sign) to see if it would ever be picked up, but it sat there for days. My BIGGEST issue with this hotel was the SMOKING AREA. They have tables and chairs right outside the front doors of the hotel where people can smoke. Every morning and evening their would be many people sitting out there puffing away. So, each time we would either leave the hotel in the morning and return in the evenings, we would have to walk through a cloud of smoke. The smoke would also enter the lobby and dining area where you could easily smell it. Nothing is more unappealing when you are trying to sit there, eat breakfast and you have to breathe in disgusting, foul cigarette smoke. Overall, I just expected more from a big company such as Mercure. Like I said earlier, I have stayed at smaller boutique hotels where they have smaller budgets. Despite this, they put a real emphasis on customer service and pay close attention to details.

I stayed in Appart'City Rennes Beauregard for professional reasons, the accommodation is large but not the most clean, a store was blocked so no view outside the room, traces on walls and windows, The hotel was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable. On the rest of the services, it is very difficult to park if it is not in a paying parking and breakfast is very medium (smoking machine coffee, medium chewed eggs, growing and a little dry bread). The staff is very pleasant when he is.

En voyage d'affaires, par hasard le 14 février, toute l'équipe a mis les bouchées doubles pour satisfaire tous les amoureux (ou pas) avec un delicieux chocolat en coeur à l'arrivée. Equipe très attentive, dynamique, souriante, au petits soins de ses clients, habitués ou pas mais on sentait un coté très chaleureux des Bretons !!! Et ils savent mettre l'accent sur cette force bretonne : les célébrités bretonnes tapissent les murs, T-Shirts avec citations clins d'oeil bretons (je vous laisse découvrir), far breton et crepes au ptit dej, photo panoramiques dans les chambres de paysages bretons. Restaurant délicieux.J'ai adoré ! Super aussi la réception sur la table, ca fait très, j'arrive à la maison et non pas à l'hotel. Franchement chapeau à toute l'équipe et bravo pour toutes vos idées. J'avais passé la semaine dans d'autres Novotel et n'ai rien ressenti de tout cela :) UN GRAND MERCI et bravo. Kenavo. A une prochaine j'espère.
