Harbour Hotel & Spa Richmond

Lovely time away. Staff were pleasant & accommodating. Recommended. Additional charges for mini bar & room service.

My family and I stayed in this hotel for a couple of nights in August. In summary - the hotel itself is nice enough but the service is absolutely terrible and therefore I would not recommend this hotel at all to anyone. In short: - When we arrived at the hotel at 3pm we were unable to check in until 4pm, even though the check in time is 3pm. We were given two drinks vouchers but it was incredibly frustrating as we actually just wanted to check into our room. - When we eventually did get a key to one of the rooms booked, the hallways were full of bags of dirty linen - terrible first impression. - Hallway carpets throughout the hotel are filthy. Need a deep clean or replacing. - At check out, there was extreme confusion about our additional charges. They tried to charge seven glasses of prosecco to my bill even though I was out at my own wedding at the time! We were then told there were no extra charges. Two days later, the hotel took approx. £300 from my account without permission and before speaking to me. When we did finally speak via call, they were unable to explain the breakdown of charges and said they would call back. They didn't...they emailed. They are due to refund me some money (for yet another mistake they made) but no one is replying to my email. Can someone please reply? I have contacted both Milena and Izabela on reception. Do not stay in this hotel - they have no idea how to run a hotel!!!!!!

Room was clean as always, missing towels in the room, the only down side for me, no EV charging point… overall great place to stay

Beautiful Hotel in the most perfect location. It was a fab short staycation for the hubby and I, directly opposite Richmond Park by the Richmond Gate. A short walk from the river and just up from Petersham Nurseries. We are regulars to the area as we live in NW London. The facilities are fantastic and a stay at the hotel includes use of the gym, pool, sauna, steam and Jacuzzi. Our room was large and very well appointed, the complimentary gin was a wonderful touch as we entered. We unfortunately did not find the bed very comfortable at all which let the experience down as the decor was stunning throughout the hotel. Breakfast was varied and excellent, staff were helpful and friendly.

Excellent service and staffing

It was a lovely staying experience for 7 days. Richmond Park was super close and the central was a great walk along the river and greens. Continental breakfast was great, it was such pleasant to look at the beautiful garden terrace as well. Staff were friendly warm and welcoming - felt like we were at 🏠. The pool and spa were very nice. The outdoor jacuzzi is great and also relaxation room was peaceful.

Very comfy

Room not ready so were invited for a glass of fizz. Room up some very steep stairs do not get room 23! Breakfast disappointing as the hot breakfast was cold and the bacon and poached eggs were overcooked. Wish we had stuck to the buffet after paying £300 for a night expected a better meal as we were then paying another £40. Decor amazing staff lovely and spa very nice . On the whole a good experience
