good hotel. check-in was very full and the rooms took a while to be released, but nothing crazy. Rooms are good and faithful to the photos, but the cleaning left something to be desired - stained towels. good location!

beach. Hotel looks good on first impression but on closer looking lobby is tired, sofas need cleaning. Rooms very very basic, covers so dated, doors shabby. There is strange sort of small lounge as you come in which doesn't serve any purpose. Curtains didn't meet, only two sockets worked. Air conditioning button seemed to have loose wires and you had to jiggle the switch about to get it working. The tv was a big old grey version (didn't think they were still used) only CNN channel. Breakfast not really good couldn't get a normal cup of tea. Not everyone likes flavoured. Asked for natural tea told didn't have any. Staff not very friendly asked if they could print boarding passes and told no system was done but clearly they were using it at the desk, concierge gentlemen were very nice. I was hosted in this hotel last weekend - 02 to 03/07/2022. I have contacted me, and Mrs Vanessa has answered me, she kept the forgotten pieces, and the next day she sent me for Sedex with great delight and sympathy, and I would like to congratulate her on the sensitivity and empathy shown by that person. All the staff very careful and efficient.

Long story short our original hotel cancelled on us 2 hours before check out so this was all our agent could find night before carnival !! We were expecting more as our cancelled hotel was luxury . So this hotel is clean but very old smells of cleaning products spray and beds very uncomfortable. Pillows and bedding poor quality. The highlight was Edien on reception hearing our story he was very helpful in advising us and arranging calls to new hotel which our agency agreed to transfer us . So maybe if you want basic 4 star great location cheap but our expectations were higher .

The hotel is in a great location if you want to explore Rio. It’s located right off Copacabana beach and there are loads of supermarkets and good restaurants in walking distance. We have had no safety issues at all and Ubers typically will appear within 5 minutes and typically cost max £5 anywhere in the South Zone. We booked the hotel with breakfast included, which is absolutely fine. Some dishes in the buffet change per day, some are the same every day. The cakes are really good! The pool area is quite small but ideal to just go for a swim at the end of the day, and has some nice views. The reception is really helpful and most speak English or Spanish (which isn’t the case in most of Rio) as well as Portuguese of course. They also have a selection of excursions which tend to be cheaper than other providers. The only reason it’s not a 5/5 review is because the facilities are quite dated - particularly the air conditioning (it functions but it is quite loud). The room is cleaned every day, but not to the highest standards. But all in all, would definitely recommend it if you’re planning on seeing lots of Rio and need a more than decent base.

My four-night stay here while visiting RJ couldn’t have been better and more suited for my basic needs as a solo traveler. I knew coming in that I wouldn't be receiving luxury, spaciousness, or any big perks common at higher-end chains—I booked for the unbeatable $29 price and wonderful location, and nothing more. So if you’re expecting anything extra, this isn’t the property for you. But I really enjoyed my stay!! The staff, especially a super nice woman at check-in whose name I dreadfully forget, made my visit special. Everyone was willing and excited to help with anything I needed, including supplying me copious bottles of water to last me the week. When I needed a wheelchair-accessible taxi to pick up my wheelchair when it lost battery, the aforementioned woman was so kind and helpful for calling local companies and their drivers to find someone on a moment’s notice. Thank you! The rooms were definitely small and basic, but they were clean and in far better shape than most Ibis properties I would end up staying at while in Europe in June 2022. My electric wheelchair just barely fit through the door and into the space. Knowing that all I really needed at a hotel on my RJ trip was just a bed to lay my head on, the Ibis Budget provided me that, put simply. I also requested a room facing the interior apartment block area (i.e. away from the street), and noise levels were perfect for my sensitive ears. Traffic in RJ isn’t too noisy anyway, but I recommend these rooms for anyone in any case. Stays like these are what make me grateful to be a loyal newcomer to Accor and their rewards program. I very much enjoyed my stay, and for your wallet’s sake, I recommend booking here. And the location…mere blocks from Copacabana! Thank you!

We were on family holidays, I reserved a four-bed room, with a couple bed and two single beds, which was perfectly suited to us. After a strong rain we returned from a restaurant, we went up to 11th floor and this was flooded! We managed to get to the room and in a short time the water also started to get in it! I called the reception, who knew the problem already, and they told me that I could change the room, we closed the bags and went to another floor. The lift had water, which scared my children. We were directed to a triple room, with a couple bed and a single, we sleeped the first night right there ... we tightened a little. On the other day, I called the hotel's reception, who told me to talk to the hotel's govern, who said the hotel was in works and they didn't expect that rain. I said that we wouldn't have to return to our four-room ... As I had already paid on the entrance, we decided to stay. I made some claims, only one was not answered. But we don't like the way we were answered, in general. Out of this episode: Check-in and check-out ok. WI-FI is not as fast as informed. Parking was not vacant, I had to pay out in another place. Cleaning ok. Breakfast recommended, free. I didn't use room service, but it has. Good location.

All we needed was here, practicality, easy access, excellent location, abundant trade around. The service is excellent, with careful and well-performing people. Juliana has helped us very much in our stay at the hotel.

Beautiful Hotel from room views and the the pool side and the garden beachfront so relaxing 🌅🌇 breakfast Is everything good.🥐🍳 wonderful stays disabled access ♿ toilet, elevator 🛗 so cool haha I was just confused the turnings round elevator abc number anyways on the the room.arw in circles too ☺️ probably it's the designs infrastructure is cute tallest building I love everything and would choose this hotel when comes to Rio de Janeiro don't skip to stay and experience this paranomic views,the hotel stuff are really nice the ladies ,the doorman and even the one helps our luggage the front parking lot big space taxis are outside ready to go.ooh the area is closer to leblon and far from Copacabana,I stay from the Centro when I book the hotel don't have clue how far this hotel from where I was so better check the map me or Google haha 😂 so you won't feel lost like me.its very Forest mountain 🏔️ sides and it's cooler it's difirent sides of town I guess the resort is very outstanding from the area Have a shotp,have good foods, actually don't need to go out if you come for relaxing 🌅 massage,beach eat chilling stay in the morning the sunrise 🌅 so beautiful birds chirping so calm 🦜🦜🦜🦜 it's perfect hotel for me the room have smart light or just a multi colored lights haha makes it more night so romantic ❤️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐❤️❤️❤️
