I really liked the hotel, excellent location, very close to the beach, metro practically at the door of the hotel. Excellent service and good accommodation.

This is one of the best IBIS hotels I have stayed in. It’s in a great position - just 100m from the Copacabana seafront and less from the nearest metro station. Beds are super comfy and showers fab. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room on the side of the hotel. The view is nothing but its super quiet as it’s away from the road. There is a safe in each room. Staff are smiley and helpful. Breakfast is super yummy with lots of fresh fruit, yoghurt and the usual items. If you like English tea, however, bring your own tea bags as “tea” as we know it doesn’t seem to exist in Brazil. On the corner of the block, there is a 24hr cafe that serves great coffee. The area seems safe at night. The hotel also offers bike hire.

I stayed here with 4 friends and this hotel perfectly suited our needs. We stayed in an executive room with a small balcony. You could see Copacabana beach which was a nice bonus. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice for vegetarians and meat eaters. Lovely fresh fruit and a delicious walnut bread. We did not eat here for dinner so couldn't comment on that. Location was perfect, eateries and bars nearby if you do not want to venture far. Beach literally a 2 minute walk away. The rooftop pool was small but enough for you to cool off and sip a cocktail or two by. The station was close as well as Ipanema, sugar loaf and CTR. I would say this is not a luxury hotel, but more than suited our needs for a girlie week away In the sun. PLEASE - hooks in the bathroom, an iron board and tea facilities in room would be great. SHOUT OUT - to Leonardo, Marina and the other receptionist wearing glasses plus all the breakfast staff. You were all excellent and helped to make our stay enjoyable.

We stayed at the Windsor Martinique from Dec 23 (evening), 2020 to Jan 2 (evening) 2021. Our trip began at a separate hotel as a nightmare and became a dream when we checked in to the Windsor Martinique. We arrived in Rio and caught a cab to our hotel (NOT the Windsor Martinique) only to find that it had closed due to a Covid-19 outbreak. The hotel had booked us a room elsewhere and we were taken there. The new hotel was horrible. It was dirty, in an area of town we didn't want to be in, the bed folded like a taco when sat on, etc. We contacted our travel agent back home and she found the Windsor Martinique. We checked out of the new hotel and headed to the Windsor Martinique. We arrived and immediately felt at ease when we pulled up to a hotel with guards by the door, close to the beach, with a cozy looking clean lobby and smiling men at check-in. Wesley and Sergio were at the front desk. They had busboy, Celso take us to the room to see if it was adequate prior to accepting the room and checking-in. The room was beautiful. It was clean, had a working AC, comfortable bed, and was a corner room with view to the Copacabana beach. We immediately returned downstairs and checked-in. We enjoyed talking with Wesley. He spoke immaculate English and shared some of his previous work history aboard a cruise ship. He and Sergio put us at ease with their friendliness. We came downstairs and had a late dinner in the restaurant. Our server was Luis was wonderful. Our pizza's were delicious. The following morning we came downstairs for breakfast (it was included) and met Aylin and Claudio at the front desk. We also met a new busboy, Celestino. Again, we were immediately at ease. We went in to breakfast and seated ourselves. To protect guests, we pointed or said what we desired in the buffet and were served by the wait staff (they wore gloves). Our morning servers were Flavio and Rafael. The food was plentiful and delicious. We did a couple of tours which were offered by the hotel and enjoyed them immensely. They included an all-day tour of the city (including Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mtn., Selaron Stairs, etc). We also did a half-day tour in the Tijuca Forest. We also chose to eat dinner elsewhere one evening when I was craving Fettuccini Alfredo. Elaine at the front desk recommended a restaurant that she and her husband frequent. We loved it there. It is always a delight to enjoy places frequented by locals instead of just tourists. The alfredo was also super cheesy and divine. For New Years, much of Copacabana closed down and guests had to have proof they belonged there if they went out to enjoy festivities. The Window Martinique gave guests bracelets. We chose to stay in and watch the festivities unfold from our window. Our final day we checked out late as had red eye flight home. My husband had been searching for an old coin that is no longer used and Celestino brought two to the room for him. You should have

Well located hotel with a great reception. Every day the maid changed the towels and the breakfast had a variety of options. Nothing to complain about, I had a good experience.

Beautiful Hotel from room views and the the pool side and the garden beachfront so relaxing 🌅🌇 breakfast Is everything good.🥐🍳 wonderful stays disabled access ♿ toilet, elevator 🛗 so cool haha I was just confused the turnings round elevator abc number anyways on the the room.arw in circles too ☺️ probably it's the designs infrastructure is cute tallest building I love everything and would choose this hotel when comes to Rio de Janeiro don't skip to stay and experience this paranomic views,the hotel stuff are really nice the ladies ,the doorman and even the one helps our luggage the front parking lot big space taxis are outside ready to go.ooh the area is closer to leblon and far from Copacabana,I stay from the Centro when I book the hotel don't have clue how far this hotel from where I was so better check the map me or Google haha 😂 so you won't feel lost like me.its very Forest mountain 🏔️ sides and it's cooler it's difirent sides of town I guess the resort is very outstanding from the area Have a shotp,have good foods, actually don't need to go out if you come for relaxing 🌅 massage,beach eat chilling stay in the morning the sunrise 🌅 so beautiful birds chirping so calm 🦜🦜🦜🦜 it's perfect hotel for me the room have smart light or just a multi colored lights haha makes it more night so romantic ❤️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐❤️❤️❤️

I stayed there for five nights in January 2020, and have only good things to say about the hotel. Nice and clean room, good food in the restaurant, friendly and helpful staff (with good advices about where to go - and not to go), great location (400 meters from Copacabana beach and across the street from Cardeal Arcoverde metro station) and in a pretty busy and safe part of the city, with many shops and restaurants. Not too expensive rooms. They can also offer transport to the international airport for 25 real. That's much cheaper than taxi!

Nice experience. It was a beautiful surprise to discover the place. The decoration is beautiful, the rooms very clean, excellent air conditioning. Also excellent kitchen service, excellent quality in general. I liked that they had a cowork space where you can work in peace too. There was very good attention and very good service from the staff, for example Alice and Fernanda, very nice and attentive to help. A totally recommended place.

Beautiful and well located hotel with beach service but in need of renovations. The health security part in the worst part of Covid with a 1000% increase in cases not only of covid but of H3N2o was the worst possible. They even demanded a vaccination card at the entrance, but the control of poorly educated people, without the minimum of education, especially Argentines, was nil. Nobody said anything about them even riding in elevators without masks. Guests at the reception were not alerted by the staff because they were not wearing masks and, amazingly, countless employees at the front such as receptionists and other employees either without masks or with them protecting their chins. Bizarre! My room just hadn't been cleaned on one of the days and the carpet and curtains were FILTHY, not dirty, FILTHY indeed. Finally, they offer free parking both on Trivago, both here and by phone, as they insisted on making sure and at checkout they charged R$ 30.00 per day. It's not even for the value but for the SACANAGE itself. I do not recommend this Hotel!
