Golden Healing Journeys Homestay

We had the most comfortable and relaxing stay, all thanks to Jatin and his fabulous team. The view of the Ganga, hills and evening aarti made our experience very enriching. The meals served were hot, homely and delicious. Will visit again surely.

It was Hridayshree (my daughter) who suggested a road trip and we two brother made plan to take her to see the holiest of all rivers - “Ganga”. We drove 15 hours in a strech to reach Rishikesh and because of excessive traffic we reached Golden Healing Journeys at 11:30pm. We were receiving calls at regular interval from them to take update about our location and we were happy to see the care that they were showing about us. We were slightly worried as it was late check in but to delight our hosts at Golden Healing Journeys (Mohit Ji and Sharmila Ji) were there and we were greeted by them at entrance. We were asked for meal to which we politely declined as we had dinner on way. We were taken to our rooms, we were allotted “Agni” and my elder brother was allotted “Vayu”. We were able to relate that they have named rooms after five elements behind our existence. To our delight our room was big and spacious with two big openings with sit outs and view of Ganga. The room was neatly done and had all amenities that were needed. The place was hygienic and detailing was taken care at smallest level. Me and Hridayshree slept late admiring the view and sound of water flowing in the river. We also planned to have morning tea in the same balcony enjoying the view. Next day we got up early and walked to Ganga ji to see it from near. The town of Rishikesh is beautiful with a lot of things to see but as we had promised our host to see them at 8:30 am for breakfast we decided to return back. It is hardly a 5 minute walk to homestay from river Ganga. The chef at homestay cooked delicious breakfast and all three of us enjoyed it a lot. Post breakfast we sat down with the Manager at homestay to discuss the itinerary at Rishikesh. We got some inputs from hosts also which turned out to be very important as we were managed to be at right place at right time to make maximum out of our vacation. We called our driver and went straight to the beautiful mountains near Rishikesh. We were shared location were there was a beautiful waterfall and a small track. We also found some wild lemon trees from which we plucked some fruits and returned back to Golden Healings. We reached back and we were told to come to dinning table for lunch. As we were already tired and hungry from the walk we sat on dinning table, lunch had variety and it included of salads, continental food as well as Indian main course dishes. As we loved all the breakfast preparation we decided that we will try everything on dinning table. To our delight everything offered was delicious. Post lunch we were suggested to take some rest before we hit the streets of Rishikesh again. Hridayshree went to our room and enjoyed view before she slept for sometime. We utilised time to interact with host and members of team. In the evening the hosts were kind enough to walk with us for “Ganga Arti” and make us explore the beautiful town of Rishikesh. My stay at Golden Healing Satvik Stays in Rishikesh was truly rejuvenating. The Satvik food was a culinary delight, prepared with fresh, organic ingredients. It was our first visit to Rishikesh and chose Golden Healing Journeys to stay. We had excellend 5 days there. It was very clean, the scene was perfect, the staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms were wide enough and comfortable. The kitchen was practical and wide enough also. Everything was perfect. We are planning to come to Rishikesh again and surely we are choosing Golden Healing Homestay to stay.

The most comfortable stay with all the amenities... delicious hygienic food by chef saroj...the whole team of Mr Jatin was helpful..well trained & courteous staff...The view from Vayu & Agni rooms were mesmerizing...the best part was the terrace...I highly recommend

The perfect place to visit the sacred city of Rishikesh from. Right from the beginning the communication was kind, thoughtful and timely. Upon arrival we were well cared for, even extending special provisions such as laundry support to help us out. The food was the best we had during our time in India. It was offered home style with generous servings, amazing flavours and excellent service. Absolutely worth the price. The massage and Ayurvedic treatments were great. An excellent selection of affordable options from caring practitioners. The location is about a 10 minute walk to the Ram Jula taxi stand and we appreciated the location. And the views of Ganga from the balconies are nice too. Every member of the support staff went beyond the call of duty to make the stay very special for us. Can’t wait to return!!

The view of the river Ganges was amazing did not realise during booking that it was home stay hotel but the food was very good staff very polite and helpful . Need to endure different plugs sockets or adapters available for charging the phones . Good communication . Lovely stay The yoga master was good too

I was ignorant to the concept of a Homestay when I booked this accommodation. My room was as perfect and clean. However I shared a living room with three other rooms and those guests stayed up making a noise until after 01:00 on my first night (when I had to get up at 03:30 for a sunrise tour). Everything after that night was excellent. I stayed in a 4 bedroom apartment in a lovely complex, with the dining provided in another larger duplex apartment with an amazing view of the Ganga Hotel River. The staff were fantastic and very attentive. And they helped out with my taxi to the airport on my last day (which had been cancelled by the original taxi company).

Great place with breathtaking views. Coordinator was very helpful and chef whips up some yummy meals as well.
