Rome Cavalieri, A Waldorf Astoria Hotel

Trionfale
This hotel is a lovely oasis away from the tourist areas of Rome. There is a shuttle bus into the centre which is very efficient and we used this every day. Well worth it. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, although dated and we found it very strange that they provided every amenity apart from the two essentials we like in a room - tea/coffee making tray and bottles of water. They did supply 2 tiny bottles which were it till the next day which was nowhere near enough for 30 degrees heat! Very odd for a 5 star hotel to restrict water bottles.... On arrival, we were told our luggage would be sent up to our room but after an hour waiting, went to concierge to try and locate our cases but were told they were too busy and would have to wait till they brought them up. Couldn't take cases up ourselves. The staff in the foyer bar and light dining were excellent and the cocktails were first class. As were the housekeeping staff on our floor who always greeted us with a smile and 'buongiorno'. Breakfast was served either at pool terrace or inside and was extensive choice and very good quality . The scrambled eggs were the best we have ever had in a hotel! Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Cavalieri and would definitely return .
Palazzo Montemartini Rome, A Radisson Collection Hotel

Termini Central Station
I stayed 4 nights at Palazzo Montemartini with my family during our Italy trip. The property is very well maintained and the location is convenient (right across the main train station). Very helpful staff and outstanding service all around. They have a beautiful spa, and we even had time for a 1 hour massage with my son, which I highly recommend (they definitely knew what they where doing). Th building itself looks very Roman and historic, but the interior and the rooms have a much more modern feel. They have a nice rooftop terrace wit great views of Rome. The restaurant was also very beautifully decorated with excellent food options to choose from. There was some elevator issues, but I'm sure it was only temporary, besides there are enough elevators to not make it a big deal. I will definitely stay here again next time. Thank you!!!
Hotel Villa Pinciana

Via Veneto
Hotel was in a great location. walking distance to the main railway station and to the Spanish steps and Trevi fountain. Good nearby bus links to the colosseum and the circus Maximus, and only a ten minute walk to the nearest underground. The hotel did a buffet breakfast which was very convenient, and had a mini bar in the room which we didn’t use, but the prices seemed reasonable for a hotel in Rome. Good restaurants nearby also.

Monti
MUST TRY if you are going to Rome! We just returned from an amazing vacation in Italy where we stayed at the beautiful re-invented Roma Luxus Hotel. We visit Rome often and were so happy we decided to book our stay there – located in the center of the city within walking distance of the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, great restaurants, and local shopping. We were so impressed with the hotel’s cleanliness and warmth, and the incredibly friendly staff – Ilaria, Zenia, Matteo, Andrei, John, Danny, Ece, and Mehedi. Extra special to meet Andrea, Executive Chef and Michelin Star holder, of the hotel’s chic new restaurant located on the second floor as he prepares for opening night. We highly recommend staying at Roma Luxus Hotel as you discover the beautiful city center of Rome.
